You really ha vent done your homework on Australia, our roads or our police vehicles. NSW Police issued an edict that Chargers were to give up chases at just over 100 mph due to blowing up the six pack engines. Time to go back to school.
Hmmm, Roadrunner V the latest and greatest in California,, a 150k Tesla. Practicality?? Roadrunner wins handsdown! 5 litre Mustang will never do 140mph. 110 on a good day. All the b/s with Valiant Chargers. Yes there was some as highway cars. 218hp 265 or 318. Very maybe a 360 was what they got. Nothing more. Never a 6 pack ever. And near all of them had the styled 'sports Wheels' not the alloys. I never saw one with alloys. And am a mile from the factory!! The one in the clip has been modded after police use. Police pack Falcons were not uncommon for highway use. 351 2V cars with many heavy duty parts. No GTs and I doubt any or many coupes. The 4 door was simply more practical. XB was simply a model, came with everything from 200 low comp 6s to 351 GT spec. Most patrol cars were 250/4.1 autos. Here in South Oz we ever only got Holdens and Valiants which were made here. NEVER any Monaro cop cars. V8 Kingswoods and later Commodores yes. The sportiest they got was NSW had some Torana GTRs replacing their Mini Cooper S cop highway cars.
I owned in Goulburn a XC 4 door cop 👮🏻 car 351 FMX auto buckets proper dual pipes and all the fruit including she was a 4 barrel plastic center carb . Drank like a fish 🐟 swapped the carb for a 600 Holley yep she was the real deal . And when it comes to XC Ford V8 coupe we had a HWP in Tamworth yep the real deal . My youngest brother was drag racing a Holden Panel van in the Main Street of Tamworth in his modified VF valiant and they both got caught by the HWP XC Ford V8 coupe . The cop 👮🏻 said to my brother you have to turn your motor off. He said if I do you will have to jump start me . And that’s what the cop 👮🏻 did . The good old days 😂. Don’t believe all the BS paper work on cop 👮🏻 cars because iv seen it with my own eye 👁️ including the CL 6 pak charger in Tamworth . I no one thing the guy who ran Chrysler in Tamworth in those days was in be time with SA . Long story . O buy the way I drove a E38 for a couple of years and had several friends with R/Ts so I think I know what I’m talking about the CL twin light HWP with the 6 pak and the alloy R/T Rocker cover broken Down near Peel st Tamworth .
OMFG! You show a model kit of a CL Charger then go on with complete BS. There's a reason you only have 182 likes. AI garbage showing off a 12 year olds knowledge. Please RUclips, please! Let us see things from anywhere except America! Pleeeeeaaase!
When you're not showing examples of Australian Fords as a Roadrunner,a two door hardtop made by Plymouth. Are you meaning the four door Satellite sedan ?, a more suited car for police duties.
Soooo wrong been into driving Mopars since 73 and that’s all Valiants models owned including 3 Pacer one a Factory 4 speed VH Dodge Phoenixs 318 polys plus 383 Big block Dodges all makes of chargers . Including one of the last 318 4 speed CL Chargers modified more then any factory 340 . Including all my brother owned in 🇦🇺 all sorts of Valiants including my Dad his brother and my Grandfather all had Plymouths and many other Mopars . Back to your story on the CL Charger no 6 PAC your soooo wrong . In Tamworth one day when these chargers were new one was broken down at a T section in Tamworth near the Main Street with the bonnet up yep 3 webers in all beauty plus it even had the R/T alloy Rocker cover yep a twin headlights CL Charger 6 pac I’m pure Mopar boy and I know what I saw 👀 she was the real deal don’t care what BS paper work people have she was there in all her Webers . Of cause people don’t believe it but there she was . We lived and breathed Mopar and I know what it had under the bonnet . I remember walking into the Dealer in Tamworth with my younger brother and there was a cream CL 318 charger in the show room and the bloke that worked there said take a good look it’s our last charger . It had thin black stripes on the boot and up the side 👌large drifter style strip . My neighbour out of town traded his VJ Charger on it 👌🇦🇺✌️.

2:15, That's not a Road Runner, ya fool.
That's an Australian 1978/9 XC falcon. 351 Clevo,
You didn’t show one Roadrunner police package, a bunch of 4 door Satellites, but no roadrunner
A good 69 Dodge Polara would do 140 MPH. A great one would do 145 according to my Training Officer.
They clocked one at 147mph apparently the gearing must have been pretty tall.
What about the 71 & 72 AMX 176 MPM ?

This "AI" shit is for the birds!
Do you pay any attention to the pieces of video you show ? They have no relationship to the cars you talk about
