@@alexjackson2246 He can't recruit, because he is lazy. The AAU coaches in Indiana call him "Bigfoot" because everyone hears about him, but nobody has seen him. He barely ever calls or texts recruits... so we lose them, to coaches who call and text all the time. His teams have no effort and give up way too early. Yeah we can "compete" with the mid tier teams on talent alone (we have a 5 Mil roster) but if they start the game hot, we go down 20 and give up. Game over, no fight. Does Woody get mad, storm up and down the bench, fire up his guys like great coaches do... nope, he just sits there like a dope, trying go figure out how to get us "over the hump" for the 4th year in a row. Our offense is from the 80s, and the only thing saving it a little bit right now is that we lost Malik so he can't play 2 big man ball. Watch as we beat a few mid tier teams, lose to the top tier again, and eek our way into the tournament. The guy can't coach.
Great coach. Outstanding. One of the best in Big Ten history. Get him re signed up long term. IU all the way.
Debated great or not but definitely a good coach better then all the other ones we've had besides Bob Knight
