Thought I would provide a follow up to the facts brought up in your video:
1. Legal action has been ongoing since the thread on DOA was started, i.e. Fraud, Theft, Tax Evasion across 4 countries (UK, France, Germany and Spain).
2. The audio files mentioned in the video were taken down by Soundcloud as per request of "someone", however, these files are safe and will be made accessible again.
3. Not only Metalheadz has removed him from their artist roster, it is also Hospital Records as well.
4. Some good news, after some of the group owed reported him for fraud in the UK and attained a crime reference number, they were able to get their bank/card issuers to pull back the funds.
5. His sister redacted/retracted from the forum/bear music group/situation because she has washed her hands of him and the situation. At least, that is what she stated to us.
6. There were three additional people who contacted me where he hadn't provided lessons too and taken money, but they had managed to pull back the money via their banks and didn't need or want to be involved, this was another £1600.
7. We are awaiting a statement from Metalheadz and Hospital Records so watch out for that, if it happens at all.
8. A Resident Advisor article is meant to be coming out at some point really soon, again, watch out for that.
9. He recently emailed a handful of the people owed requesting their bank account details so he can issue refunds. We have seen nothing whatsoever and are quite aware this is just a ploy to cover himself legally by appearing to be in contact/processing refunds, however, sadly for George(Commix) the authorities are aware of this as well and are not stupid.
10. OK so this is a big one, a statement given to the group of people owed on the 4th of July 2023 via Whatsapp by George Levings(Commix). You can be the judge (as @Weaverbeats would say, opinions in the comment section):

Guys, firstly I want to apologise to each and every one of you for this mess that I have created. I didn’t realise what I was doing at the time but on reflection I have not acted responsibly and have not made your musical development and education my main priority. It pains me to say this. But I must. I took on too many students, created a long and unachievable waiting list and at some point I crashed mentally which caused unacceptable setbacks. According to my psychiatrist I have suffered a full blown crisis since breaking up with my long term girlfriend 2 years ago and instead of taking time out to recover from this, I loaded myself up with work thinking that this would help me overcome the emotional fallout, but I was wrong. Very wrong indeed and all of you have fallen victim to this terrible decision.
I want you all to know that I never once took your money for a tuition course without the intention of delivering on my promise. I consider it a huge responsibility helping people develop musically and it saddens me deeply to been seen now as someone who has abused this position for personal and financial gain. It’s especially hard because it’s never once been the case. Moving forward I want nothing more than to resolve the situation and get you all paid back.
I am gathering my royalties for this quarter as we speak and these will form the first instalment of the payback plan. I am also selling anything of any worth from my studio to help this cause.
Following that I want to resolve this as quickly as possible but in order to achieve this I need your help. I am a producer, Dj and a teacher and all of my income since I was 18yo has been generated using this skill set but with my integrity, both as a teacher and as Commix being bought into question, I am currently unable to generate any income at all.
For the past 6-8 months I have been preparing courses that will delivered for the most part in recorded format (with additional mentoring from myself) and I have also been compiling a huge educationally lead sample pack series. Both of these products have the potential to generate a healthy sum. The last sample pack I released in 2020 made 10k in the first week. I also have an album pretty much ready to release but I cannot think about marketing and releasing these things with a huge smear campaign raging around me.
So In order to move this forwards in a positive direction i need to propose an agreement with you all that is accepted from both sides. I will draw this up formally and we can both sign it. I am more than happy to state here and now that the agreement can be used as a legally binding document. So please can you come back to either myself or Lucie with a situation you would be happy with moving forward.
I fully understand that you have all reached the end of the line with me, you don’t trust me or believe in me to do the right thing but in order for me to create a resolution I must ask you to show me some mercy in the coming months and allow me some time to generate the funds required to pay you back. I will need the threads online to be resolved through a personal statement from me, which will reiterate what I have explained above and it will state that an agreement has been reached and the resolution is in progress with all parties involved. It will also state that following this situation I will continue to educate, but through a system that doesn’t involve me receiving upfront course fee’s. Instead lessons will be invoiced for once the lessons are completed.
Once this statement has been made I will need some time to bring my following back onside, through transparency and good will I can do this. I don’t have anything to hide. Mistakes are made and learned from and I will be open in the coming months about my shortfalls but also about my passion towards musical education. I will also need some time to market and promote the sample packs and online courses. If we can come to an agreement quickly I can imagine that this whole process will take a maximum of 2/3 months at which point I should have these products released and be in a position to pay you all back.

Thank you for the Transparency. Drug Addictions are very serious, and very simply put, as you've indicated: A BATTLE BETWEEN LIFE AND SUDDEN DEATH
The mother of my child was in and out of various rehabs for over 10 years. She TRIED to overcome the benzo addiction, and was sober for AN ENTIRE YEAR before she relapsed... just that One More Dose was the dose that proved to be fatal.
It wasn't for lack of effort, or lack of trying. I was with her nearly every day for ten years, until the last 1.5 years of her life. She really, really tried, but the addiction took over. And the addiction causes people to do things they wouldn't normally do in a more "right state of mind".
Knowing this, I think we should all do our best to separate THE PERSON from THE ADDICTION going forward. I don't know who George is, but having lost someone due to addiction, I feel for his family, for everyone who got taken advantage of, and yes, ESPECIALLY for George. His own life is clearly being robbed from him, due to the addiction. Drug addictions can be so severe, as in the case of the mother of my child, where a beautiful 20 year old woman is having sex with 60 year old men for 40 bucks or just a few hundred dollars, literally LOSING visitation rights with their child, losing not just ONE child, but Parenting Rights with ANOTHER child... point in case, people who suffer from Drug Addictions will do things that are outside of their normal purview, because they're being LED BY the addiction. It's EMBARRASSING for the person who is going through this, especially publicly, and very SHAMEFUL for them to admit they need help, they use, or that they relapsed. In fact, some people find the appeal of certain drugs, BECAUSE they were molested or abused as children, now suffer from PTSD, and see this as an easy way out... they don't have to feel bad feelings, think negative thoughts, or even think, at all. They can just, easily, feel happy, or tune it all out.
I'm not making any excuses, and I don't know George. I'm just asking everyone to PLEASE separate the person from the addiction... and for anyone who is capable of getting him to professional help, PLEASE do. Every, Single, Second Matters, and I MEAN IT. Every, Single, Second. This is A MATTER OF LIFE AND DEATH.
Literally, if I could've held the mother of my child AT GUNPOINT, and told her, "NO, YOU'RE GOING TO LIVE IN REHAB FOR THE NEXT YEAR OF YOUR LIFE, OR TEN"... I would've done so, in order for her to still be alive. If I had to take her kicking and screaming IN HANDCUFFS to get help, I would've done so. I honestly feel that going to prison for 5 years would've been A LOT easier than the next 200 times or so in my life... where I'm going to have to explain to our son, as he gets older, "why Mommy isn't here" and see him cry so many times, or have that HOLE in his life. I would've much rather dragged her there kicking and screaming than have to deal with that.
If you're reading this George... just go walk yourself in. Go and get some help. No one wants you to die. These drugs aren't helping you, they're actually STEALING your life from you. I, and EVERYONE HERE who is now aware of you, wants you to be That SUCCESS STORY, that comes back, clean and sober... who GETS HIS LIFE BACK. I don't ever pray, but I'm going to pray for you personally. Do it for yourself, and you will also be dong it for EVERYONE we lost and couldn't get back, too.

I listened to a Metalheadz podcast years ago where Goldie frequently talked about him being wasted all the time, so much so at one point that he fell off a stage at Outlook festival. Sounds like he might have a substance abuse problem and needs help. Scamming people is not helping unfortunately

I saw him at the ForMarcus nights they threw for him years back now, a lot of DJ’s had turned up to show their respect for such a legend and were all very responsible (as were the rest of the crowd), Commix was so fucked he was falling all over the dancefloor and completely all over the place. i love Commix music and mixs, hes been a big inspiration over the years. Obviously if hes not delivering what people have paid for he needs to pay them back. If he cant generate income from music at this point he needs to get a dayjob. Its really as simple as that. Pay back what you owe then move fowards, saying to wait a few months is not good practice at all. I dont know the guy or the situation at all but rehab sounds like a good option. I wish him all the best, life has highs and lows, it is what it is.

Just wanted to commment as a former mentee, and what my experience was with him. George is an extremely talented musician and i was lucky enough to meet him during lockdown as i was using my spare time to develop my production.
George was always there, attentive and supported me constantly with feedback on my music. I had a handful of lessons with him, but most, if not all of his support was just through chatting and sharing music together. His support was non-profitable, and completely genuine, until things turned bad for him. I also want to point out that I was one of the first to join Bear Music, so i have a subjective standpoint from the beginning, to how it has turned out.
What im saying is george is hands down one of the most talented and committed producers the scene has ever had, he's taken a turn for the worse but please know that through my experience, as well as others, he's not the monster portrayed online. He helped me, endlessly and was always there to support me in many ways. Life can just break people and i hope he can return, staying true to the craft.

10K £ is about $13K USD. That's a good bit of money for anyone. Personally, I can't stand drama and that's what this is. Lot of people eat it up and enjoy, myself, nah brah, I have real shit to deal with.
Why do you need to pay money for lessons, other than how to use software, or learning how to use some gear? The music is in you, and you can listen to other music to get an idea of how things should sound. It just seems to me that the whole thing is a scam.
