My name is Yvonne. I create and post videos about my daily life with Friesian Horses. I will show you the true Friesian Horse and what they are like: day to day care, training, riding dressage and the very special birthing of foals. I love how Risey is multitasking: Move from point A to B, meet up with human mem, glance over at the stable to see if the mares are coming, eat the greenest grass, repeat.
Clearly Rising Star was enjoying himself in the pasture, even by himself...but he seems to keeps looking up, as if he's looking for someone else to keep him company out there...🤔

This was like the grand opening of the salad bar for the horses and foals. It was good that Saly and Blomke went to the pasture first, because when Coralle and Belle Uniek arrived, we all know who was boss of that salad bar. 😮 Also good that Yfke and her mem had their turn. And of course, our Prince Risey gets delivery grass first from Yvonne and then the salad bar all to himself at the end. He's such a beauty! I think he likes his alone time in the pasture with his forever human mem Yvonne ❤. Even when Risey slowly walks or gallops, he is majestic! I remember when boss Rein first saw Risey the day he was introduced to Uniek, he said what a little beauty! ❤

@@EM-ru3eh I thought he was moving better when the fly bothered him and he lifted his left hind leg. He didn’t seem to wobble at all. He is not 100%, but once again Yvonne’s faith is proven.

I remember all the times Yvonne gave Yfke milk in the pasture. Calling her name and she would come running❤ Sweet memories.
That was my first thought, too. I was singing "Y-y-y-f-k-a-a-a" to myself as she came to Yvonne for a nuzzle! ❤❤❤

No worries about the mixing up the names. The horses are so happy to be outside
I do it all the time with my daughter and granddaughter. Use to do it with the dogs, too. It’s better than “hey you”!

Don’t be so hard on yourself Yvonne, we all make the mistake of mixing up names sometimes.

Risey is such a smart, thoughtful horse. He seems to realize he has to be careful. He checked out the wire boundary first thing, and I can see how he's adapted his trot and canter to compensate for the Wobbler's. He's looking fantastic!

You gotta admire how spirited Rising Star is despite everything, the gelding sugery and the unnerving moving after when he had to be transferred to Stal H and be examined now and then, also not being with a herd. A very high-strung horse but seem to recover very quickly mentally.
Absolutely! ❤ Oh and how about his teeth cleaning, or him allowing Yvonne to handle his hooves. He is also so sweet with his vocals, if only he could talk 😊
He’s balanced because of how Yvonne has presented all of his hurdles to him up until now I think 🤗❤️👍

I have seen a couple of " highly strung" horses...Rising Star, is a " pussy cat", in comparison.....Yvonne is so lucky to have a horse like Risey.....
....and, as I said before, " "Wobblers be damned!"....

@@lisajoyaslanis Never said he's the most high strung horse you'll ever see, however he certainly is a high strung horse and that cannot be underestimated, especially compared to the Friesians who are calmer and more composed in comparison; he's not the easiest horse to handle in the channel since he's iffy about things. We've been seeing the difference in his temperament for years now. Usually a Friesian at his age is more tamed, Warmbloods in contrast retain their youthful energy even as they grow older. However, it's pretty clear Yvonne has more than enough experience to handle a breed like his.
Yvonne, with all you have going on in your life, it is no wonder that occasionally you say a wrong word. I do it several times a day, and I’m not recovering from a brain injury! Be gentle with yourself. You’re doing great!

I understand Risey being scared when left alone. A flight animal that has not much control over his body is a happy meal for every predator. So he needs a friend by his side in order to feel secure.
I don't think his wobbler or having an animal by his side has anything to do with it, when he first arrived to Stal H, he was very happy in the pasture by himself. That's because any other horse being in pupillary distance was enough to ease his nerves, he's a herd animal in general and he comes from a temperamental breed, wobbler does not really attribute to it.

....because Yvonne is The Gatekeeper.....he wanted to return to his herd....even with all that grass and. space to run; he is , after all, a Herd animal....I feel for Rising Star, but Yvonne gives him the best care available.... And much love!
Blomke is having the happiest time of her young life. She is a joy! Belle keeps a close eye on Yvonne when she goes off to get the bucket ❤😊. I love the new herd at Stal H ! All the ladies! When you put Risey out Yvonne I could tell your heart was happy. That’s why your herd is so wonderful, they know they’re loved.

Risey realises the range of the wires here, he's trotting and cantering, albeit at times getting to gallop a bit, he does not go full throttle. Smart boy, you can see how excited he is though even with the boundaries.
Risey is a very intelligent horse, you can actually see him thinking!❤
No one could fail to like Rising Star......He is the perfect young horse....amiable, lovable, curious, obedient, a good all rounder....now if he were just ridable!

My latest German Shepherd Ruby who came to me 18 mo ago at age 9 keeps getting called Remy or Seffe( my last w girls mother & dau). Poor Ruby.

There is always something new I learn from Yvonne and Rinske and friends in their careful watch over these horses. They have such a kind manner with them in every detail. The horses are looking especially beautiful. It was great to see Risey wanting to move about and go faster.

Wow look at all that luscious grass the rain did it’s job,getting to watch the herd head into the pasture for the first time every spring especially when the foals are discovering the joy of it when they have no idea what it’s all about never gets old.
