This cover really echoes Tolkien's tone when he wrote the song. He was in the trenches of WW1 and this tone really captures the longing of home and hearth. I hope you can cover the full song in the future. Keep up the good work!

While listening to this song, I can hear horses gallop towards the orc army... and see the face of Faramir filled with fear, yet bravery and will to die for Gondor. (this just makes me emotional holy shite man this is just... There are no words to describe how beautiful this cover is)

@@ColmRMcGuinness In my opinion it is a true blessing to have such a beautiful voice, with which you can sing so many different songs. It doesn't matter what you are covering, it sounds better than the original(my opinion)
@@ColmRMcGuinness Spending a bit of time with a good vocal coach might pay off quite well. With your vocal range, there should be plenty of opportunities for work. Learning how to tame down the harshness on the low end - and how to turn on a more neutral accent - would make you a very valuable singer. Don't get me wrong, I love your accent, especially on the sea shanties. But it's not right for every kind of music.
