As someone who wears concealer and always used to have this problem, my tips: 1) the only concealer that doesn’t crease is “too faced ethereal light concealer”. I have bought so many concealers and they have all disappointed me, when this concealer came out I thought it was going to be the same, but no. It’s light coverage and lightweight which all help reduce wrinkles in the concealer, and I found that having too much coverage looks bad especially if you have freckles. It’s buildable too btw so it can work if you need more coverage. 2) use a dry beauty blender, the extra water will make it crease. 3) no powder/ very very minimal powder, it will dry it out and make it cakey eventually with all the natural oil that your face produces.
Honestly, I just need tips on how to keep powder from going everywhere, causing constantly needing to clean before leaving for somewhere, and how you store all your makeup with it still being accessible. Those are my biggest makeup struggles right now!
Keep the plastic tab that covers the powder holes in place and pierce a few of the holes instead of peeling it straight off. It reduces the flow of the powder into the pot.
@@YFBullock it’s not so much that - I pour some into the lid to keep the amount lower and dip in that - it’s just that all these products get everywhere during application and I need organization tips! Ty
@@alicetoyou448put towels down over the sink or puppy pads? Try a caddy you can just place on the countertop if you have room for it, like one of those plastic ones you can store cleaning products in?
Also, another tip: wear primer before applying concealer or any form of makeup as it helps making it smooth and look more natural and less dry. If u dont have primer, use a moisturizer or lotion. Nivea soft works best💓🫶
What also helps is use less foundation and less concealer. I know we have the urge to cover up imperfections, no matter if they are normal and healthy things that happen to us. But less is better. The more you put on the more noticable it becomes. I have started using only concealer and only put on a thin layer on my face and some spota have no make up at all i just blend it out now. So much better than what i used to do
These are good tips! I also heard it’s good to use the puff part that has no product and even gently remove any extra powder, I’ve tried that on top of these tips and it’s even better. 😊
What I love about your channel is that you can *see* texture on your skin. While your face is still semi blurred due to the lighting, camera, etc, it's not completely airbrushed to the point where I can't see any texture at all. Both sides of your under eyes look like they have makeup on, and you can see fine lines on both (one side more so), but that's fine; *makeup looks like makeup.* Even when people do a natural look, if you look close enough, you can see the make up; whether that's spot concealing, mascara, or a light dusting of powder. I think that with social media in the last few years, many women, especially young women, are under the impression that makeup should completely airbrush your face and look _flawless and poreless._ Or, at the very least, it should look like you aren't wearing anything at all. Due to lighting and filters, a lot of people have come to believe that they are doing something wrong when their makeup application doesn't look like what they see on their favourite beauty influencers or MUAs. Especially when they see people essentially "caking" it on yet still looking like they don't have any texture or pores. Yet this is misleading because *makeup looks like makeup.* These "influencers" aren't showing their followers what their skin looks like in natural lighting without all the perfectly aimed lighting, soft light boxes, filters, and post editing. I wish more "influencers" would be like you and show honest reviews, give tips that actually work instead of the newest gimmicky hack, and not be afraid to show the texture on their skin. *So, thank you for keeping it real* 💖
I love her tips! Here’s what works best for me: I have quite oily skin and my eyelids especially in the creases upper and lower. I use my fingers to dab on my concealer, and then a small flat brush to pat and blend. When I do my setting powder, tap off the excess and look UP before gently pressing from OUTER corner to the inside going against the grain of my creases. This has helped me tons in reducing the visibility of the fine lines while keeping my concealer from shifting throughout the day.
I'm an oily skin girly so baking is the only way I can minimize looking like a disco ball at the end of the day but i usually wipe off the rest after I finish doing my eyes and it usually works out for me! I have forgotten to wipe it off though lmaooo

Yeah just remember this, using a sponge under the eye if you're trying to to cover darkness/uneven skin tone is counterintuitive because sponges literally absorb the makeup.. it's a sponge, so it stripping the coverage.
