They say the lightest, but at like 28 lbs. for the Shimano version I don’t think so. Put some decent wheels on this bike and you could drop another pound or more, and to me that’s still not light.
@@HugoTeixeiraMckoy yeah for sure. Not sure why they don’t spec a chisel pro with Roval wheels, XTR, etc. I have a chisel hard tail and it’s the same issue. The frame is awesome but the wheels and components make the bike a pig. The low end Specialized wheels are heavy and slow.
It amazes me that that the shock placement still continues to trigger trek fanboyz. The geo and suspension travel are the biggest differences in bikes these days and it separates this bike from the super caliber. Please do your research.

It's probably the Frameset weight alone - wouldn't it be cool to see a full-blown build of this frame and see how low could the overall weight go?

In it's class, sub $3000 price point. MSRP is $2600 hence not all the fancy light weight shit.
