I actually said Lord I don't need my blood pressure to go up on Mother's Day. 😂 😂 Took me 2 hours to get back online to find out how to disconnect what the instructions told me to do.
Is this device the right one to use as an antena for use on my cell phone te be able to get connected for signal from my net Main device on the living room to my garage. I sleep on my garage on summer time. Like to know if works as antena@@TomLeeman
Wps goes automatically for 5ghz in the newest routers. Once installed app you can split Wi-Fi signal for 2.4 and 5ghz (while changing the name) It was very useful for my older type of Samsung smart tv to go with 2.4 while other devices in my house are 5ghz suitable. 100% improvement for yt, Netflix, Amazon or online tv streaming, almost returned it back ;) great video anyway too!
God bless you for showing us how to set this up. Appreciate the walk-thru. Got this in the mail today and set it up in less than 10 min. and it works great for our TV on the back porch. Awesome!
Wow, forget the instructions, they had me downloading apps and all sorts. Thank you for putting up this video, it took me 30 seconds once I'd watched it. Not all legends wear capes.

Hi, Thanks for your demonstration! I was REALLY confused by the directions and did not realize how easy the setup could be. Using the WPS way was a God send!. Thanks again for a great informative video!
Thank you Tom. The sad part is the instructions don't even mention anything about pushing the WPS on the router. The first time I tried to install this was a failure. The way you explained it works. Thanks again
Thanks for the video! I ordered this from Amazon based off your instructions and review. In addition to the video, I downloaded the tether app and updated the firmware. Great product 👍

AT&T sucks so bad I literally had to convince my dad to cancel and get new WiFi I just couldn’t stop lagging while playing cod that company is an embarrassment
Dear Tom, Do you have any clue what to do if you changed your provider and want to re-set up again? Does it work the same way, or is there anything you should do first to close down the precious provider/decoder?
If you’ve changed your service provider you’re going to get a different modem with a different password and Wi-Fi network so you’ll have to start from the beginning again and go through all the steps. You can reset the TP link I have a video on that you can check it out.
Bought one yesterday....paired it up fine next to my router, then i tried to move it further across the house where the wifi isnt great, but got the red wifi logo...moved it another 20 yards or so closer to the router and still got the red wifi logo. So basically it only pairs up within 20 yards or so of the router, which to me defeats the object of trying to extend the wifi further across the house....??? 🤷🏼♂️
Great explanation. You have best video on this. I followed your advice and increased my Wi-Fi camera percentage from 22 percent to 46 which is much better. Thanks so much!

hi - I have a Cradlepoint AER2200. My company gave it to me to use since I'm in a remote area with WIFI only and need to connect via VPN. It works wonderful compared to the many hotspots and routers I've used in past. However, it does not have a WPS button. This unit worked in the past with our old AT&T router, but maybe it won't work with the Cradlepoint. Thanks!
Thank you so very much - with seeing this and the order of events, you are a lifesaver. I found the little green bubble above the wifi and voila, I was actually already connected!!
This works with these DSL routers and modem gateways by AT&T with a WPS button but if you have a different system, you may have to download the app on your phone. Good luck thanks for watching.
I've had this system for a few months now. It worked really well until this week. My computer is not connecting to the wifi even though it shows full bars. What do I need to do?
Thanks brother. Question: does the extender have an additional Wi-Fi name that you have to connect to? Or it’s technically the same Wi-Fi name and password from the router and extender and it just works as a booster?
quick question how big is your place? the first time it couldnt connect due to range but how far did you plug it in? im plaining to get one for another room but im not sure if it has enough range
I just ordered one of these. Trying to get WiFi in my detached garage that is approximately 100ft from home. My question is do I plug this in my house where my router is, or do I plug this up on the garage?
You’re going to have to experiment with some of the outlets if you get it too far from the router signal it won’t pick it up I have mine about 20 feet from the router and it works pretty good to cover the living room which is maybe 100 feet away you’ll know if it works or not because I will give you a red light on the Wi-Fi if not just try to move it a little closer to the router until you get all green signals good luck and thanks for watching
Do you know if it can mimic your current network so that you don't have to change the network name? So that when you move through your place, it stays on the same Wi-Fi but with extender, you're just no longer in a dead zone?
You should have all green lights and then when you open up a device, you’ll see you’ll see the name of your network with EXT in front of it then you just plug in your password
This is basically a Wi-Fi extender you don’t have to plug in ethernet for it to work you just have to have it close enough to the router so that it connects and then follow the steps in the video and it should turn all green and you should be good to go on your devices it will say that exact same name as your net work under_EXT Good luck thanks for watching
Hi Tom, great video, thank you. Do I need to do anything with my laptop and mobile if I want to use Wi-Fi in another room (a lot of lags, not possible to use 'normal' internett from the router)? Because you chose the extender connection on your tv, so I wonder if I need to do the same on my pc/mobile. What password am I supposed to type? Just create one for this device (it's unclear to me what password you typed in on your tv, if it was a password for tv or an application?)
I think they do have a app that you can download on your phone and I think you can add multiple ones to this to extend it further they also have a special router that you can purchase. The password is usually just your network password. Good luck thanks for watching.
Can you tell me about Internet speed. Like will it extend original speed or speed will be greatly reduced. Like my fibre speed is 500mb/s how much I expect in no Internet spot?
What should I do when there's no light on the router's wps button when pushed? And thank you for the easy steps to take. I have been struggling with this for days. I hope the answer to my question is a simple fix. : )
It may still pair with the extender the only way to find out is to plug it in close to the router and then check a device to see if it recognizes it thanks for watching
How do I set it up with a ethernet port on the AC750, if I already have a network switch in the basement and want to connect the AC750 WiFi extender to the network switch? Thanks!
hi bro can we connect two range extender with a single network switch via a ethernet cables. both range extenders connect with the main Router. and both feed the internet net to the same network switch via ethernet cable. and the all the connected devices to the network switch get internet will connecting to range extenders to one network switch improve the speed and reliability
I believe you can connect multiple extenders and they do have ethernet ports on the bottom you could give it a try and see if it works good luck thanks for watching
Hi Tom, Thank you for the video, quick question do i need to press and hold WPS for 2mins?and about password ,is it my wi-fi password or i need to create one?thank you
You don’t have to hold it for two minutes, but you have to press it and your network name will be the same but you’ll see_EXT next to it on your devices and your Wi-Fi password will be the same as for your network
If you look in the bottom you’ll see there’s a port so I think you can do that I have never done it and give it a try and see if it works thanks for watching

Same here. It sucks as an extender.
It’s only a 1200 ft range. Try the Tp-Link AC1750. It’s about 2000 ft range and about as far as you’ll get without just jumping to a mesh network.

I have my router upstairs and I use this downstairs, but it’s directly under the router. It all depends on how far you place it from the router.

Should I expect like 400 speed?
my router has dual band 2.4ghz and 5ghz. i want to extend the 5ghz since its faster. can i do that with this extender?
I'm not sure that is possible
Not working
What should I do when there's no light on the router's wps button when pushed? And thank you for the easy steps to take. I have been struggling with this for days. I hope the answer to my question is a simple fix. : )
It may still pair with the extender the only way to find out is to plug it in close to the router and then check a device to see if it recognizes it thanks for watching
@@TomLeeman It doesn't unfortunately.
How do I set it up with a ethernet port on the AC750, if I already have a network switch in the basement and want to connect the AC750 WiFi extender to the network switch? Thanks!
U should be able to plug in at bottom
Thank the lord for you being alive
Thanks I appreciate that I’m kind of glad I’m alive too and thanks for watching
can you set up two of them? so the second one feeds off the other ?
Yes I do believe you can have more than one
hi bro can we connect two range extender with a single network switch via a ethernet cables. both range extenders connect with the main Router.
and both feed the internet net to the same network switch via ethernet cable. and the all the connected devices to the network switch get internet
will connecting to range extenders to one network switch improve the speed and reliability
I believe you can connect multiple extenders and they do have ethernet ports on the bottom you could give it a try and see if it works good luck thanks for watching
Thanks this was very helpful I was beginning to loose hope, now its works perfectly.
You're welcome! Enjoy your Wi-Fi. Thank you for watching.

Hi Tom,
Thank you for the video, quick question do i need to press and hold WPS for 2mins?and about password ,is it my wi-fi password or i need to create one?thank you
You don’t have to hold it for two minutes, but you have to press it and your network name will be the same but you’ll see_EXT next to it on your devices and your Wi-Fi password will be the same as for your network
All done, thank you so much
Can you put a ethernet cable in the extender to make it wired ?
If you look in the bottom you’ll see there’s a port so I think you can do that I have never done it and give it a try and see if it works thanks for watching
