awesome ! Thank you! Tip: put a few rocks in so that the birds have something to grip/stand on.

That drill bit is not for drilling plastic. That is for tile and glass type materials.

Is the pump still working? Some bad reviews for it on Amazon.

Hi Char, this is such a helpful video! I'm looking to make a "fountain" just for the trickling sound effect, and plan to hide this "fountain" under a large shrub adjoining my porch. What's the best way to get the sound effect (the fountain won't be seen by anyone near my porch). Thank you!

What do you mean, get the sound effect ? The actual sound file? That can be found on the web under free sound files. You tape it and throw it in an mp3 player

Helpful might be telling the bucket and plate size.

that's up to you.. pick a bucket and then pick a plate that is large enough to sit on top of the bucket.

Might as well got out your light saber or phaser to drill the hole was a diamond bit is really required

I wonder if the drain holes are too big for Hummies feet.

might be to slippery maybe make groves around the edge so they have something to grip and put polished rocks on the top but wash them first :)
