Scream is part 1 of the Dystopia trilogy, which is about cyber-bullying, hateful comments and people losing themselves in the (fake) online world. It is mostly showing the victim's perspective of (cyber)bullying, comparing it to a medieval witch hunt and a burning at the stake. The tree is the tree of language, and it grows black fruit for every hurtful thing people say. Note also the hand gesture, it is the devil's horns introduced by Ronnie James Dio as a symbol for metal, but it originally was a gesture in the middle ages to ward off the evil eye, tying into the witch hunt theme. I really enjoy the music, it's rock mixed with EDM. Dreamcatcher are always very creative, and they are in their own genre by this point.
I always suggest for reactors to start from the beginning so you get to see what their growth looks and sounds like (for the members and their skills AND for the company and the skills of the producers, etc). Dreamcatcher debuted on Friday-the-13th, January 2017 with a song called 'Chase Me', which has a Horror vibe to it. That song/ MV starts a Seven Chapter storyline called the Nightmare Series (incidentally, that song is on a Single Album called Nightmare). The Second song/ MV is 'Good Night' (from the Single Album called Fall Asleep In The Mirror). The Third song/ MV is 'Fly High' (on the Mini-Album called Prequel, which is self-explanatory; the events in 'Fly High' explain what caused the events of 'Chase Me'. Some reactors choose to watch 'Fly High' first, then 'Chase Me', etc. That is up to you). The Fourth song completely switches gears and almost does not seem like it goes with the first three, but it actually does continue the same story. That one is called 'You And I' (from the Mini-Album Escape The Era). The Fifth song/ MV is called 'What' and is from the Mini-Album Alone In The City. The Sixth song (and the last one in the Nightmare Series that is Korean Language) is called 'Piri' (from the Mini-Album End Of Nightmare, the title of which confused a lot of people since there was one more song...). These six songs and all the other little tid-bits from those albums can be found on Happyface Entertainment YT channel (or now I think they changed that channel's name to Dreamcatcher Company). The last song of the Nightmare Series is called 'Breaking Out' (from the Album The Beginning Of The End). The song/ MV is on a different YT channel called Pony Canyon because it is a Japanese Language release and is considered to be the 'alternate ending' to the storyline. I like it as the very last one because it really ties things up very nicely (even better than the video before it). After that, Dreamcatcher's content can be found on Dreamcatcher Official YT channel (yes, there are 2 different channels. One says 'company' and the other says 'official').
