Prophet Yaqub knew all these. But still he cried so much that he lost his eyesight. So knowing all these, it is still very difficult to withstand trials. Aren’t they?
It is difficult but Allah (SWT) has shown us means to make things easier for ourselves. And in the lecture Ustahda Yasmind reference to the verse where Allah (SWT) tell us about ease following up with every difficulty.
A small price to pay for attaining Jannah, where they both will reside together for eternity.....that is the ultimate goal of all trials and tribulations.
However, being human, it's natural to feel pain and loss. The important part is not to continually live in it. Hence, the iconic dua of Hazrat Yaqub " Verily distress has seized me, and you are the most merciful of those who show mercy". He embraced his fate and put his tawakal in Allah SAW and look at the end result.....
which is promised by Allah SAW in the quran " so Verily with hardship there is ease. Verily, with hardship, there is ease".
Take trials as a bag of honor " Allah SAW has honored you". God does test those people whom He loves most. Prophets, those nearest to God, always had very difficult lives.
Prophet Muhammad SAW also knew about this but still cried for his son but that's not the point .The prophets put their full trust in Allah and had sabr like when yaqub AS was asked by his sons he replied saying something along the lines of: l complain of my worry only to Allah same goes for prophet SAW he said along the lines of : the eyes cry and the heart feels pain but the tongue will only say with what Allah is happy with just because someone cried doesn't mean he doesn't have sabr no mate that's only a way to cope with our struggles

Our esteemed sister referenced all bad situations happening to women, all examples given were from women side. This is the source of Muslim men being accused of being harsh with their loved ones. Nowadays ,with feminine movement, unfortunately some of that poison has reached inside of our Muslim homes. There are women that have no respect for their husbands, and that is just the beginning. The osian is at a level that is unimaginable. Both men and women can be good or bad. To emphasize the good teachings that we have in our religion can be an aid to those gray areas in relationships. This will make a person to think twice in continuating a bad behavior. I am certain that our sister did not attempt to enable bad behavior, however the examples have that connotations.

I am always asking questions to myself : are people who follow other religions other than Islam or even not religious they happy in their lives, I live in Canada and I am seeing people from other religions and they seem happy and live their lives wholeheartedly, I don’t understand how can they be happy and determined if they follow any religion and why I am Muslim and I can’t find happiness in my life and most of the time I am sad even though I know well my religion and I know I can be tested with fear and grief but I feel confused

Well then you should study deen and understand what Allah says about this .Allah has told us that every soul shall be tested those who have more faith will be tested more.And no my brother you don't know if they are happy or not everybody says they wanna seek happiness bit happiness is not found by worldy stuff if you are looking for happiness through lifely things that will end one day than you are wrong.anybody can look happy but that doesn't mean they are happy you don't know what they are going through.remember self pity isn't something our deen promotes .if you are not happy go do stuff struggle for that stuff that will make you happy and Allah will give it to you or maybe he won't,all for your own best.Following Islam or any religion doesn't mean you'll magically get happiness no that's not true bit you will feel content your soul will not feel hungry and if it is then look for more surely you can never be good enough
As-salam-alaikum they are many people who aren't religious and are happy in their lives, they are people who are religious in many different religions including Islam who are happy and some who are unhappy, you have to ask yourself why you aren't happy and how you can bring happiness into your life (example) you may have a job which gives you an income and you may say this is not enough money and you are unhappy in your life constantly, another person who has less your income and are so happy that you want to know how this person is always happy because happy come from within, a person who has a 2 million dollar home even though they can afford it sometimes are the most unhappy person in the inside you will never see it because everytime you see that person they has a smile and you say that person is always happy, but the homeless people you pass give them a cup of coffee and a dollar that person is even more happier than the person living in the 2 million dollars house, so remember you have to make your own happiness and it comes from within.

Please teach me some really effective islamic dua,not to get possessed by American Islamic scholars,not all of them but only one of her type & the only problem with her type's she is not stereotype.
