Well, given he inherited the worst AFL team of the last 20 years of football, he has pretty good job security. The foundation is building the player list, and an overhaul of the scouting and player recruitment departments of the club.
We’ve recruited very well the last 3 off seasons without much draft capital, I’d say his biggest challenge will be transitioning our list through a new head coach and players like Yeo, gov, barrass, Cripps and Kelly retiring in the next 2-3 years
@@lije3931 looking at the national drafts over the past 5 years for West Coast [excluding the last 2 years because it is hard to evaluate them) I am seeing 1 player from every draft still with the team, maybe 2 on a rare occasion…..do you think that is a good strike rate?
@@travellerandwriter he said in the last 3 years and in that time they've only delisted Greg Clark from the end of season draftees so 13/14 on the list still. In the 3 years you've allowed they still have 60% of the players they drafted. Not bad
@@imthemulisha doesn’t matter that he said “3 years” , my original statement concerns the work of scouting and player recruitment and the national draft is a major part of that. The best way to measure that is drafts beyond the last 2 years. So for a five year period, on average 1 player from all the selections is still with the team. So the question still remains, do you think that is a good strike rate?
Pykey doing a lot for our club culture it’s great to see
Imagine Reid, Hewett, Ginbey with Warner, Yeo and Kelly!
Bring back the old song
Get Warner and sign Harley for life
Also Dean Cox
Great to see a great back at the club and making a difference 💙💛🏆🦅
Great job Don ..👍👍
Go throw money at Warner Jesus his a GUNNNNNN
I'm very sceptical of this guys ability to influence our club positively. He fucked the Crows

@@travellerandwriter that isn’t a great strike rate but we’ve had 3 different list managers in that time
Get Warner
Sign Harley
Sack Simpson
Get Cox
