He developed Kevin Durant and Russell Westbrook into NBA All Star when he was in OKC then did the same thing with Dame Lillard and CJ McCollum in Portland. Dame even said how much he meant to his career when Vanterpool left to go join the TWolves staff. The Nets hired him away from Minnesota and he was a factor when they signed Durant in free agency. He interviewed for several head coaching opportunities around the league and just watching him and following his career over the years, I think he’d be a great hire for somebody.
