    Fassa is a really slow drier, whether it’s acrylic or mono. Water can damage it up to 2 or 3 days after application.👍

    • @macplastering
      @macplastering  9 месяцев назад +1

      not sure if it is easier as you have all the rendering to do before hand where as the scrapped gear is a one coat or like i like ti double coat booth hard work LOL

    To paint acrylic render can you use exterior self primed paint 2 coats ?
    Or do you have to use a special sealer for 2 week old acrylic render?

    • @macplastering
      @macplastering  7 дней назад

      @c2k911 if its self priming should be OK but you could do a small test 1st? Agin the acrylic will be set and dry and as its not old it will be clean

    Hi mate. Just wondering when you are doing a job that you are coating over sand and cement would you float and sponge the sand cement coat or just smooth rub finish then prime? Thanks

    • @macplastering

      Would still sponge mate have the other stages of this job on channel and a few others on this type of acrylic render

    Would this work over painted render?

    • @katsucurry9420
      @katsucurry9420 9 месяцев назад +2

      Depends what condition the painted render is in.. If the paint on the render is solid and not flaking it should be fine.. I would personally give it a coat of primer and wait a few days for it to completely dry then go over top with thin coat silicone

      Acrylic will work fine over existing s/c, another option is to spray Corksol on. It’s a great product too.👍

      @@macplastering yeah look it up Joe. You can use it as a finish externally or spray it on internally and skim over it, improves thermal efficiency about 30%. Stuart Roberts did an interview recently with Jamie Orr from Corksol on Trowel talk.👍

    Tidy work lads the finish is determined by the size of the aggregate,and u can add small amount of water too the finish ask the
    Rep for the manufacturer
