I want to ask all of you. When you guys start Asphalt 8, have you guys experienced with these things and do you guys want these things happens again?
Yes
Shit load of game modes: knock down, gate drift, infection. Each one of them really unique unlike A9, running from point A to point B with different pace and bots constant ruin your racing lines
_ speaking of racing lines, traffic cars in A8 were place as meant to punish you. But in A9, you hit traffic cars, the physics wents shit (btw, traffic cars dont move in A9)
Entire career gamare sweat fest, yup some events, they place top S classes cars in D classes, you will win envetually but you are not enjoy the scenery, the vibes, the chills; all is sweating struggling to be win
Cars classes are compltely hoax, a common produce Gallardo higher rank than Centenario becaise they add ot later game
Track are small, nitro delepted too fast, it require a tons of practices to play tracks alienate from new player
Cars are expensive, saving a month just to blows all credit to Chaos

Well imo, now it got better, even now in update 66 we have to buy cars with tokens, atleast now gameloft giving us tokens daily from multiplayers, gauntlet, and now racing pass having cars again, the car hunt event free car got imo better, giving us boosters from event and a8 youtubers. Even the old times was better, atleast now it got a little bit better
What I miss in Asphalt 8:
-The Cadillac CTS-V Coupe Race Car (For me, it was like the M3 GTR but in Asphalt 8)
-Free play
-Tokens
-Mastery
-Rock song
-All cars were cheap
-the old version of the garage and menus

This was where I started from
A few weeks ago I was in an apple store. They had ipads on display and for trial they had asphalt 8+ installed in one device. I saw some customers just randomly tapping here and there to make the car (pagani Zonda r) move on the alps.
I was so furious when they blamed the game. I did 5 races and completed every lap with near perfection... Their faces were watchable
miss the time when i was the skillest asphalt player in the whole grade😭

The game was more forgiving and fun back then cause drifting didn't zap all your speed, grass didn't slow you down and the nitro always picked us back up to speed.
Hm, thats a good thing about asphalt 9. Makes it more strategic per say since perfect nitro and shockwave doesnt slow you through grass

many people dont know this but few of us aswell:
some of the legendary Asphalt 9 RUclipsrs like: Nekon, HannaleinH, ReV_TeZ, Hjalpmovie, Fury Dreams, MontY, AnthonyJose, Hypersonic are dominating Asphalt 8 community and took the world by storm. Those things happend from old MP races to a Google+ Selfies that shut down its entire media. Those Asphalt 8 days were so goosebumps back then until they are gone, inactive, or retired from the content but most notably, RpM_Alex and ReV_TeZ are mostly gone from Asphalt 8 and 9 forever because life passes by. Some of the legendary teams like ReV, RpM, Viesky, HPA, Driver, Elite and among old teams are more competitive than the newest ones. Those things are so memorable to race or even a selfie. The ranking system at that time was so much better than the newer ones because even tho you are fighting with the kings of Vulcan, MP4-25, Nemesis, and Devel 16 Prototype its an art of racing that battles to the top. Let's not forget some of the kings at that time such as RX-8, Donkervoot, MP4/8, SLK 55 AMG, BMW CSL Hommage because they are the most OP cars before everything became unthinkable. One of which is fake speeds - usually the highest top speed at that time was Devel 16 Prototype with 609kmh followed by Vulcan with 572kmh, Trion Nemesis with 537kmh, BMW Hommage with 512kmh and MP4/25 with 488kmh. Speaking of kings is the reason why it is so OP, Elite Tunings were introduced because of that. They can adjust only Top Speed and Nitro to its limits and test their car to its better performance. Usually all of this are the reason why it is so popular than newer ones. Right now, it is so bullshit that Asphalt 8 became more P2W friendly than everyones thought... but before all of this P2W bullshit came into play, VIP was so popular back then, if you reach like Level 15 - you will get a free-P2W car of GTA Spano 2015 with a bunch of features and stuffs that you can farm. but believe me or not, old A8 is still better than you've expected to these weirdo A8CC that they dont know a lot.
Overall, Old Asphalt 8 is only for the Kings of Legendary
ADDITIONAL INFO: We can never forget about that Simple Mobile decal from Arash AF10 and the Mortal Combat Event in Venice where its all warfare on that map. Shorcut Glitches where also OP back then until pro players abused it but GL fixed it at the end.

Paying my respects for one of the best games i've ever played. It's one of the things that made my childhood happier. Thank you GAMELOFT and Asphalt 8. Me and my dad used to have a special bond with this game back in the early 2010's. I'll never forget the feeling of getting home from school so excited to log in to my tablet and see that my dad has already played a little bit before he went to work. Ah good old days. This game used to be my life when i was a kid. The thought of that feeling i used to have while playing just hits hard.
Edit: My dad thought of asphalt and remembered the game Ashphalt 8 and he asked me if i remember how we used to rock in this game. It brought a tear to my eye

This game was THE BEST RACING GAME EVER. Sadly, nowadays, this game is worse than so many other racing games now, i remember playing this game so much, and how much i liked this game, but it's all gone now, good thing is that its sequel, aka A9 is now the best mobile arcade racing game, honestly A9 is fun too, but the nostalgia will never be gone, A9 is actually really fun, maps might not be cool, but the game physics is this game's fantasy, atleast gameloft is doing good in another way...

2014-2017 were great times for part 8. I'm sorry that it has become worse, it's not possible to play it. I tried to download old versions or hacks, but it didn’t work. Today 9 is better than 8. At least it's playable.
Mazda RX8 is my best friend in the game. It was totally the best elite and d class car imo and I remember that I always bring it every time in multiplayer and become unstoppable. Sadly in 2019, the beginning of the downfall, I'm not being able to having fun with it again cuz I lost my account. Then I'm decided to play it again at the end of 2023 but everything was very different. It was very hard for me to get my RX8 back and then I'm decided to stop playing it. Luckily almost a month ago, my best friend teached me how to get it back without even purchasing it. He tell me to play old version instead and he recommend version 3.5.0j. After finding and then download it I can finally having fun with my RX8 and I can feel like it was around prime years again! Unfortunately I can't play it online and create my account cuz as you guys know but atleast I'm having a lot of fun start from now 😊

I am a player from Russia, and it pains me to see how I want to go back to play and am faced with the fact that the game is not available in my region... But before I was an avid player, always on F2P There was Bugatti, all I remember to this day, I would like to ride again with the old music, alas, even VPN doesn’t help, it’s such a pity that because of the interest of the authorities, everyone and everything was affected at once, many games were lost...
