Such a joy to watch I learn so much from your videos and discussions. Please talk more about colours used and mediums. You work so quick & intensely as a plen painter this is what affects the eyes - I’d rest the eyes closing them for a time 😊

Must be a pain wiping those loaded brushes. I guess you use a lot of brushes and try and keep wiping to a minimum. You do well to avoid things going muddy.
Love your close ups showing the juicy impasto work and rich multitude of interactions of brushwork.

I wore glasses and contacts my whole life until cataract surgery. The thing about glasses is that they tend to move back and forth on your face which alters the point of focus of your vision and it makes you eyes tired. The little muscles in your eyes that alter the shape of your eye's lenses can get worn out, which is why a lot of people eventually need reading glasses to compensate, even if they've never needed glasses before. You could try a strap to hold the glasses stationary on your face, or contacts. Beautiful work, man. I'm an artist, too, but watercolors and pen and ink. No giant canvases on a mountainside for me yet.
Hi I was watching your video while I was crafting and you mentioned about your eyes! I have the same problem and mine is due to dry eyes and especially when I’m outside the allergens really bother me and it makes my eyes get dry and then it makes me get a little bit dizzy ,nauseated and my eyes hurt! I use Systane complete and it is over the counter! I keep those with me all the time! I’m a DIYer but I’m also a painter with acrylics! I hope this helps! And your work is wonderful!
