This sounds like such a blend between Scandinavian folk and American acoustic folk. It's the best of everything and I absolutely love it. Please make more music like this!
Thousands thanks, my dears! I see, I hear, I may not love and adore only the celtic music from Ireland, Sotland, Bretagne and Galicia (with my classical gotic singing and my own slavic music), my soul tells me, weeping of desire, this is the sound of my hidden pain, not only my overcomed "scandinavian" multiple sclerosis... Thank you,, and Jonna Jinton!
@@MandolinSecrets And to Italy! Just a curiosity, I've translated the title of this Amazing and beautiful piece of music and it gives me "Death". Is it correct? Why did you choose this title?
I noticed... that you, dear scandinavs... have such trait - to make the best thing from music, which you have, despite the kind of that music. It means - quality and heart to shape music sincerely and deeply :) I love it! Greetings form Lithuania :)
Wow...! This is absolutely beautiful and touching! Even better than the CD version. One of my favorite tunes by you guys. Thanks for the video! (I hope you'll upload more videos from this concert... seems like it was a fantastic one ;) )
Does "Doden" mean "death"? It seems to me that Doden was used in "The Seventh Seal" to refer to Death. Of course, it's been many years since I have watched the film.
Yes, Bud! It means death and your Ingemar Bergman reference is correct. The song itself is kind of an celebration to life, putting it in to perspective through the opposite... Cheers!
@@MandolinSecrets That's a fascinating thought. The music feels so lively and rings bell's in me. I tried to make music like this in my youth but had not the skills to do it. It's wonderful to hear real musicians make those sounds I could hear come alive. Have you more of this 'kirkemusic'? Thank you so much!
I wanted this song playing at my wedding until I realised döden means death. I suppose I'll have to save it for my funeral
Keep coming back to this! Love the way it builds…and then diminishes. Perfect!
Thank you!
