The D2 Rainbow vacuum was the first Rainbow I had, and it was super. I got a D4c in 1995, still have it and it still works better than any other vacuum.
My aunt had a Rainbow D2 PN canister years ago. She loved it. She said that it reduced dusting and it made the air fresher and cleaner. She traded it in for a Kirby Heritage in 1983.
@@colterkardas4105 My aunt traded her Kirby Heritage in for a Kirby Generation 3 in 1993. She said the G3 was much easier to push and handle because of the TechDrive. The Heritage was hard to push. It was a dust blower too. She traded in her Kirby Generation 3 for a Filter Queen Majestic and a Filter Queen Defender in 2000. She got the same results from the Filter Queen that she got from her Rainbow D2. She said that the Filter Queen is comparable to the Rainbow in filtering and performance. It reduced dusting and it made the air fresher and cleaner. My aunt traded the Filter Queen in for a Kirby Ultimate G in 2002. The Ultimate G has the same performance as the Generation 3. It has Micron Magic HEPA Filtration. The Micron Magic HEPA Filtration did not do a damn thing because my aunt was always clearing her throat and coughing and sneezing and her house is dusty.
@@robertgwisdala5795 I have Kirby Sentria II with HEPA bags/Odor blocking bags and no matter how many times I change that bag, it starts stinking within one days use... it’s not the outer bag that needs washing like so many say... I’ve washed it several times... our house is CLEAN but we have two cats and because of their dander and dead skin, it will begin to smell immediately unless you change the bag every time you use it... might as well have a bag less vacuum then LOL While I LOVE the construction of the Kirby (very durable), the power on it diminishes after only a couple rooms worth of cleaning (this is because the bag has holes in it that begin to plug up) and whatever doesn’t plug up the holes, comes right back out into my breathing air... So sadly, my Kirby is in the closet and has been sitting in there for a few months... I’d like to sell it, but I also don’t want to just give it away when I paid so much for it, you know? Oh! I made a RUclips video and I managed to combine the cleaning power of the Kirby with the power of my Rainbow SE Performance... that’s the only way I can use a Kirby now without having an allergy attack.
@@colterkardas4105not really a mistake both vacuums are actually really really good an I have no idea wtf that lady talking about it stinking, sounds like a rat got sucked up in it or she’s vacuuming shit which nobody should ever do but both vacuums clean the same

Wow. That was a BIG mistake... trading it in for a dust blower?

These chrome dome machines still remind me of Homer Simpson polishing his head in the Shine-O ball-0
the Brush roll used by eureka style power head was a vibragroomer 1 or 2 or 3
My friend has a d2
Really does he have a RUclips channel
