    I’m just amazed at how this man cleans. My husband could give two shits about a clean house. I’m 8 months pregnant and guess who’s still vacuuming and doing all of the cleaning? 🙋🏼‍♀️ Meeeee.
    Luckily I have my girlfriend Sirena.

    I had a rainbow vacuum for years. With the rainbow, I was told to never store water in the vacuum as it can cause mold. After vacuuming, clean the basin and allow it to dry.

      True, but I run mine all the time and change out the water daily. After vacuuming I definitely change out the water with clean water . 👍🏻

      It sinks if u leave it in there. Why would you leave the water in it anyways after doing it once and figuring out what happens.

    • @raygodmanMX
      @raygodmanMX 3 года назад +4

      Yes, but more importantly it will deform the seal for the basin to machine if left with water in the basin (and mounted) long term.

      I have always popped it off the water basin if I take more than a 30 minute break vacuuming so the moisture does not effect the motor. I have had my Rainbow last doing this.

      I’ve had both shark and Dyson. Sirena stands above them in my experience’s. Having 3 inside dogs, it just grabs all the hair and dirt. I hope your convincing gets through to him. 🤞🏼

      The only thing that can touch this is a Rainbow. As as Ex Rainbow dealer for years I can say this machine is nearly as well built, and does the same job. Nothing else will eat and remove ALL the dust from a home. This is IT for dust and allergy homes. I expect this unit will not last the decades a Rainbow does, but I do expect it to go 7-10 years of good service for the $500 for the unit. No brainer decision honestly.

    In response to the claim made at 1:02 the only ways to remove humidity from the air are through desiccant material or condensation, usually this requires a surface that's below the dew point such as an evap coil in an aircon/dehumidifier. I don't see a refrigerant compressor or desiccant beads in that vac so I don't see how it's going to remove humidity.

    Also I have to use some brute force to remove the top handle that goes to the power nozzle. Is this normal? I didn’t get a dvd or separator tool so it was quite difficult to assemble. The manual was kind of useless, no instructions. Is there an easier way to use this? Did you have these issues? If not what could I be missing?

      All you have to do is leave the hose off the unit and turn it on high or low when there is the proper water level in it. Add your scent to the water if you like. That's it. You do not take the vent off the back. 😉

      No, the hepa is a final catch all but NOT part of the cleaning process under normal use. If you mess up and suck up "non-wetable" dirt (think ash or talcum powder or chalk) the hepa will catch this (and clog), if you run too little water, again hepa will catch (and clog). Under normal (correct use) the hepa is in essence being used, and will last indefinitely as the water is catching everything, leave it in always.

    Believe it or not I've been "researching" vacuums for a few years now as a consumer for home. I've spent hours and hours on reviews watching and reading etc. I stumbled on the Sirena after I watched Performance Review Channel that started giving me names of brands I've NEVER heard before! So worth the mention, but I love that he puts SEBO and Miele on the top tier S level assessment. I went to look for SEBO dealers and went onto a wormhole of websites offering high end, high performance tools for home cleaning and to help manage allergies. Allergy Buyers Club led me to a water filter search on Aquagear, and randomly to Sirena! (Saving anyone else the time going down the 🐇 🕳)
    Going to spend more time looking at your reviews. Enjoyed the comments giving real testimonials! 👌 allergies began plaguing us for a while, after my little one turned about 3 and we moved I tp a 100yr old house. I'd rather spend the $$ on cleaning environment than the time on Dr visits. Allergies are such a plague in the USA ...it should be avoided if possible at the very least at home, a safe space. Ooooo I just see you added essential oils! Yeeesss! I'm so glad you added that.
    1 q: do the surfaces you clean remain wet? If so how long does it take for those surfaces to dry...each type respectively please. Ty (w the stellar service they have +10yr warranty, I'm sure they'll ans my qs but wanted tp ask from a user.)

    • @PhillipBridgesReviews
      @PhillipBridgesReviews  2 года назад +1

      The vacuum only uses the water as to filter out the debris that the vacuum picks up. It can act as a wet vac to vacuum up any liquid spills on the floor.

    • @DomDollx
      @DomDollx 2 года назад +1

      @@PhillipBridgesReviews so I've been using my Sirena and it's quite cumbersome! 😅 I've considered returning it because I'm not excited to use it every day. However, the water def tells you how gross the house is. It isn't for everyone and it isnt good for anyone with hand injuries etc. It def strains the wrist bc of how heavy (sturdy ofc and durable) the tube/extender attachments are. So smaller framed/petite folks might prefer for lighter more nimble vac/stick vac models.

      @DomDollx Год назад

      @@crystalemigh9253 if it's not affordable, consider a Henry.
      I'd say depending on your build, if youre a tall strong person, it's a good buy.
      Buy the recertified one. It's a grt concept but idk how practical it is for everyday use for folks who aren't as strong or have as much storage space. It sprawls out and you need a lot of strength in your fingers to push the lock buttons to release and change the vac heads out.
      It's def effective and does a grt job but it's again, bulky and cumbersome and you need to clean parts well. The dirty water has to be sifted from the dirt anf hair that collects. I couldn't just dump it into the toilet or sink. So if you're someoen who isn't meticulous, you might be disappointed.
      Also, we are not sellers. This isn't a sirena sellers page. Visit their website and call them.

      Phillip Bridges Bro please do me a favor. Next time you use just the air cleaning, take off the front cap where the power nozzle plugs in..grab a flash light and stir up some dust and you will def see particles flowing into the front of your Vac! AND if you just put your finger in the small opening you can feel air flowing in
      Maybe I was just doing it wrong all along but I’ve also left on the front cap when air cleaning..I don’t think we’re supposed to

      @PhillipBridgesReviews  4 года назад

      Will do. I’ll let you know

    • @PhillipBridgesReviews
      @PhillipBridgesReviews  4 года назад +2

      I did a test with a flashlight and some lint from the dryer. With the front cap still on, it sucks the lint particles into the vacuum. The cap is a half circle that fits into where you would connect the hose. Which actually increases suction on low just a little. Like a crevasse tool at the end of a hose. With the cap off, it seemed not to suck as much dust or lint on low.

    • @PhillipBridgesReviews
      @PhillipBridgesReviews  4 года назад +2

      I will add... having the cap on, it grabs more of the air coming from the floor than air passing in front of the unit. Which is fine cause usually the floor is the dirtiest.

      Depends. If I just tips over, it should not leak water cause it’s under vacuum pressure when it’s on. Now if the unit is set up on a counter or table and it falls. Well that’s a different story. I will be doing a follow up video very soon that answers a lot of questions including pros and cons that over the months I have noticed.

      The Rainbow has other accessories as well like the Aquamate, a self-contained power shampooer for rugs and a miniaturised shampooer, called, "MiniJet." The mop is called
      , "RainJet" and even though it looks like a Swiffer WetJet it is far superior as you pickup the solution right after you spray it and in conjunction with the JetPad it is more environmentally friendly as it uses micro-fibre pads you can wash instead of throw away pads. One thing that bothers me about Sirena is the stair and upholstery tool. It should be a motorized unit instead of using a turbine.
