- 👋 Time to bring the 2024 Subaru WRX TR out into the mountain roads! The TR used to stand for tuner ready, and now more or less stands for track ready. The 2024 WRX TR is the most sporty trim of the 2024 WRX lineup featuring a manual transmission, Brembo brakes and Recaro seats. The new 2024 Subaru WRX TR was a lot of fun hitting the turns and handles great. Steering input is really sharp and precise and the sporty tuned suspension keeps this WRX TR pretty flat through the turns. The Recaro seats do a good job supporting you i the turns and over aggressive bumps. However that does mean they are a but stiff under normal driving. I would like to hear more of the Boxer engine while driving, so an exhaust and intake would do wonders for the sound. The STI trim level is gone so you don't get any power bump with the TR trim. So I'd like to see more power out of the WRX, so a nice Cobb Access Port would be a good idea to get another 50 HP out if it. But overall the WRX TR seemed right at home and was a really fun car to blast through the mountain roads. At $42,000 it seems pretty well priced when comparing this to the competition and the WRX in general offers plenty of trim levels starting close to $30k to really let you pick the perfect car. Fun car overall with the practical aspects and fun sporty driving dynamics.

Very easy to make power with this new engine. Very underpowered from the factory I mean 12 psi of boost. Intake and tune will easily bump you to 330whp/wtq conservatively. FA24F has substantially stronger components than the previous FA20F so much less chances of meeting Uncle Rodney. Engine has also been tested extensively on the NBR race car. So the potential is there for this engine.
Yeah these have a lot of potential for sure! As long as they don't blow up lol
@@BrosFOURRSpeedstock block of an FA24F can handle 500whp/wtq until head studs start to go. But yeah there hasn’t been a single WRX/STi that’s been safe of throwing on bolt ons without getting a tune and blowing up the motor somehow. At least with the FA24F, it can handle a lot of power. The transmission is a different story, however.

I got my TR the 2nd week of April. WRXs/STIs are like having a new car every month as you continue to modify/customize to your liking with the BIG aftermarket support.
When you compare it with other cars you have driven and owned what would you say coming from a 20’ Civic Si owner
I've actually owned a 2020 Si. That rev hang was a turn off. No rev hang here and feels more planted. The shifter feel is shit compared to Honda thoughp@@Jmarzx
