Great video Dan, adds to my search for understanding of this move. Your explanation is very clear and has helped me tremendously. I’m sure I’m getting there, if only the rain would stop here to get to practice!

Love it Dan, working with my coach on timing this so I'm posting up really hard. The thing we have found works really well is to us a dog training clicker,I press down on it with my left toe so that it clicks BEFORE I reach the top of my backswing and load the into right heel, then I try to load the left heel and straighten the left as fas as possible so it clicks again as I release the pressure from my left toe. The click- click helps me to time it. The Athletic Motion Golf guys also talk about the downhill pressure shift to the front foot which helps the correct sequence. It might be worth you doing a video on that too. More please.

Hey Dan. Thank you for the video. Lots of coaches explain this similar move but not explaining the right arm hitting the ball timing? or should the arms be completely dead ? if thats the case then it takes a very strong powerful golfer to force hard into the ground to carry whole right side body over? Surely the right arm/wrist has to come into the picture along with the left vertical force? Kindly show some drills for this timing in a very difficult split second move. Thank you

You are probably the first guy on here that I have ever seen teach this move properly. Either most don’t want to reveal it or don’t understand its importance for power. Unfortunately, most probably won’t get it. I know it seems simple enough, but I believe you have to be fairly advanced to understand this move and to implement it properly.

Hey Dan I was wondering if you made a instruction video on how we can drive that trail elbow and simultaneously get that target side shoulder up and out ??? I know very broad but I believe to be a key move thank you Dan always your the man!!! Hope you can understand that lol !!!

I love your stuff Dan and really followed a lot of your early vids. This all sounds great for the pros but they’re hitting centre face on command. Even for a scratch golfer this is a lot to take in and I feel like it just adds about 10 swing thoughts i doubt any weekend golfer will need and trying to implement it would simply cause paralysis by analysis. Thoughts?

If I try putting a lot of pressure in to the ground, it creates tension through my body and slows down my swing. I find that a looser feeling creates more power. Am I doing something wrong?

Going down with the trail side on down swing makes it look like the lead side is jumping up - but it is another golf illusion. Actively jumping up destroys force and direction control. Sit down on the punch.

Dan, doesn’t that squat really start happening before the backswing is completed?

Not quite sure why people don't seem to use the hammer throw as an example. This movement is probably one of the best and most powerful examples of how squatting and releasing the mass of an object around a human body can be done. Watch several videos and you will see there are multiple moments where you can actually see a golf swing for a very brief moment. Sounding a bit sick Take care Happy Holidays 🙋‍♂️

Dan thanks for the drill but that’s a result of a dynamic move not the cause of it. The left side rises in attempt
to support balance you Goose. The swing is over in less that two seconds. Impossible to teach correctly.
