I emotionally fell apart and couldn't stop crying at the beauty of it I even went out and bought it on vinyl and I didn't even have a turntable at the time because I knew I needed it in my life. Roll on 6+ months and I still watch Raye and get emotional and have now connected to newer artists Olivia Dean, Leanne la havas, The superb Ren and the eclectic Dodie etc... If you haven’t seen her do Mary Jane at the Montreux Jazz Festival, you’ve got to react to it. It’s unbelievable. We haven’t had an artist like Raye in a long time 💙 ETA - From what I’ve been able to gather, Raye is directly involved in all the arrangements. I’m sure the choir director and the orchestra director/conductor are heavily involved in implementing the vision. But it’s Raye’s vision. There’s an amazing shirt here on RUclips of her sitting on the floor backstage in a T-shirt, in front of the choir. She leads them through an astonishing little piece. You can just tell it’s something she was just waiting to get to do with a choir
What you mentioned about her changing her scat or way of singing in different shoes it’s totally true and she’s absolutely amazing. Seen her twice with no regrets !!
I came with my sister from France to attend the show and to be honest I didn't know Raye very well. I left the O2 arena totally in shock. This woman is incredible. I absolutely want to see her in concert

Surprise! She co-wrote Bigger with Beyonce on Black is King. I picked interest in her since then. She's curently one of the best vocalists I can think of in this generation. Literal goosebumps listening to her.

Genesis played at the 3rd section of the medley after Ice Cream Man and Prada (the rendition of the actual song Prada was not like in this medley). Genesis itself has 3 parts (7 minutes in total). The single was released after this performance!
i was there at the brits , everyone was screaming like crazy but the real people were far from the 'audience' microphones. we were all on tributes and 2 3 floor, everyone was screaming and singing but u can't hear on the audio.
