If anyone's curious, the blocks that dropped several items were actually dropping chest loot tables. And conversely, the chests that contained a single item had their loot table swapped with that item. The other person I saw play this didn't have anything drop nothing, but I assume that's caused by this randomizer also including entity drops in the randomization and so many entities dropping nothing, especially if every flavor of villager was counted as a separate entity type.
The fact that you referred to the different types of villagers as flavours is very cursed, love that for you

Specifically, chests from Ocean Ruins. They very often have coal, wheat, rotten flesh, and enchanted fishing rods in them.
nothing drops could also be silk touch only or mobs without guaranteed drops like blazes
Considering that this is probably from the Fasguy datapack generator, all villager types regardless of profession or home biome will drop the same thing. This was probably an intentional decision since in vanilla, villagers drop nothing.
I quite enjoy taking a datapack from the Fasguy site and combining it with a Minecraft advancements bingo, you can get the advancement for full netherite armor before ever getting "Stone Age" in a lot of cases.
Kevin is slowly trying to add a chaos mod to every game. We must hope he never runs out of games, lest he add a chaos mod to reality.

The fact that Kevin figured out that he could use blackstone to make a furnace but not conclude that he could also make a stone pickaxe with it boggles my mind.

The editing in this is top tier. I've had a very stressful day and this made me laugh out loud several times. Especially the "NOT MEAT" part. However, I now fear the sudden and inexplicable existence of Burger Kevin.

I’m usually unsurprised with some of Kevin’s randomness but burger Kevin was a genuine shock and I loved it 🐸
Kevin is an absolute military genius. While most people would be staying in one spot breaking blocks again and again to find desired items he was one step ahead of the game by making a house first and then exploring different areas for variety of blocks. True genius.
5:45 to be fair, in the olden days, ship builders would steam treat the wooden planks so that they would be more malleable and would then warp them into shape.
Although I guess if they're already warped than that would make things complicated...
I mean, you can still use it for boats. He just clicked on the icon when it was a different wood, so obviously it didn't go through. That always annoys the crap out of me when using the crafting book.

I'm loving all of the new additions to the videos, the standing narration, Burger Kevin's multiple appearances, the transitions mimicking the falling sand.
Honestly those small touches really add to the quality and enjoyment of the video, I guess you could say Kevin is really honing his craft.
I'm not a big fan of the standing narration, admittedly. At least when he previously cut to him at his desk, it felt more in-the-moment like he was playing the game and cutting between a camera and the game. With the standing narration, it becomes painfully obvious he's cutting to after he's finished filming. It feels less genuine and real.
10:19 I took a sip at, "Watch me turn your wheat into... nothing!" and it was a mistake.

Laughed a lot when I saw Burger-Kevin, completely caught me by surprise (I bet that took a lot of work!). And I laughed out loud when you set the villagers on fire (always a must) and for the 'karmic' ending. A great challenge, a great video. And most importantly, you look so refreshed after a break. There is a mod to randomize the drop tables, there is also a mod to randomize the crafting recipes, you should do the random crafting one next and then combine the two after that.

Hey Kevin, I watched one of your earliest videos yesterday “the making of a video” and realized how much work goes into these. I loved this video, thank you for trying as hard as you do. Please keep taking breaks or cutting back on the schedule as you need, don’t feel bad about it either. As someone on Twitter said, we’re not going anywhere.
That said, here’s some feedback! Super fun idea for a video. Your MC videos are my favorite. Your cutaway burger was funny and it reminded me of your “making of” video. I did not enjoy the background music playing throughout, I started to really pick up on it at times. Kinda like when there’s a repetitive sound in the house that suddenly starts to irritate you. But the sudden cut at the end when you fell was perfect. Anyway, gave it a thumbs up! And, again, please look after yourself. We all love you and want the best for you, you deserve it! Take care.
