전 멜츠님 영상 항상 챙겨보게 되는 이유가,, 뭔가 자막이 다른 유튜버에 비해 진정성이 느껴져서 좋아요. 영상미를 위해서 가식적인 얘기를 하거나 알 수 없는 소리만 줄줄 나열하는 게 아닌 멜츠님 자막은 솔직하고 은은하게 웃기고 몽글몽글 하기도 하고 피식 웃게 되거나 그 장면이 그려지는 경우가 많아요. 거기다 듣기 편안한 내용과 화법을 담고 있어서 정말정말 편하다고 느껴져요. 실링왁스 유튜브 많이 보지만 항상 제일 열심히 보게 되는 유튜브가 아닐 수 없습니다!

I'm saying this as an artist who HAS studied aspects of art, (on my own time, not at an art school or anything), you don't need to study to create art! And your wax seals are beautiful art! Art comes from the heart, whether you've been to an art school, studied the basics, or never studied at all, the act of creating is a wonderful thing. I think it's a universal human joy to make and look at pretty things. The seals may be pre-made images, but you give them unique life! I get so excited with every new video, to see what each seal is going to look like this time. Thank you so much for sharing your wax sealing with us 💜

멜츠님 영상은 한컷한컷 다 정성가득해서 보면서 황송해지는 기분이에요 저 자잘하게 알록달록 많은 사물들에 빛이랑 초점 맞춰 촬영하시고 보정하면서 색감맞추고 흔들린거 조정하고 화면에 담기는 왁스들이랑 인장들 배치에 자르륵 구르는 음향까지도 하나하나 고민하시면서 다듬으시는게 느껴져요... 미술전공이 아니라고 하시는게 믿겨지지 않는 색감과 영상미의 극치🥹 보기만 하는 구독자이지만 항상 감사합니다 올려주신 영상들덕분에 밤이 길지 않앗어요 멜츠님도 더 즐겁고 따뜻한 한해 되시길 바라요!

I thought it might be interesting to try using wax from crayons to make seals…
I’m curious how the texture would come out, since it isn’t a product that’s intended for sealing.
Crayons also come in a variety of finishes these days, such as metallic, glow in the dark, and glitter.
So I thought that might be fun to watch!

melts, i'm an artist and based on what you described, i think you do have a really good sense of colour! your method is similar to how artists are taught to think about colour, like if using green and purple they should be the same colour temperature etc.
and you do it without really thinking about it so that's very cool~ ♡.゜

i've heard beeswax candles are much healthier for your lungs. probably significantly more expensive too, but since you're using candles so often, it might be worth using beeswax instead.

Just an idea; if you take a fine sand paper and sand the top of the stamps you won't have to do the blur when editing.

I'm with you on the science, world history, crime stuff. You might want to check out Rotten Mango, its by Stephanie Soo and her husband and the do feature quite a bit of Korean and Chinese Crime stories. Stephanie also has three other channels but I like Rotten Mango. I can only watch like two of her videos before I have to take a break. As far as world history I don't know if your into archeology but you might want to check out a show called Time Team. They do digs and excavations in the UK to find out some interesting things. The show was started in the late 1980s but its still going and they have their own RUclips Channel.

i don’t like the idea of time capsule because you need to see good things everyday. so i have a “self love log” instead of traditional journal or time capsule. i write nice things that i did or that happened around me everyday. 1-3 sentences every evening is not hard! these things can be very simple: lovely food, funny dream, got to work on time, bought a present… but i see that everyday has at least something positive and it’s so inspiring!

my goal this year is also to exercise more. usually i am very bad at sticking to goals like that, but fortunately 2 of the 3 elevators at my office have been broken since the year started...so taking the stairs up and down 3 floors many times a day has really helped! 😅
i would also like to actually participate in my hobbies that i love. i used to be embarrassed that i have "old" hobbies, like jigsaw puzzles and paint-by-numbers. but i realized lately that it's nothing to be bothered by, because if it brings me peace then it's good.

첨 봤을때 5만명 (그 당시에는 실링왁스 유튜버 하시는 분 거의 없었고 제가 보는 실링왁스 유튜버분들 중 제일 구독자가 많으셨던,,!) 이였던 게 엊그제 같은데 이제는 어느덧 30만명을 향해 가네요 ㅎㅎ 말도 정말 재미있게 잘하시구 언젠가 분명히 뜰거라는 생각은 하고 있었지만 막상 뜨게 되니 제가 한건 없지만 괜시리 뿌듯하고 그러네요 ㅎㅎ 100만명을 향해 열심히 달려가 보아요 항상 응원합니다 !

My goal this year is to do more things I enjoy, instead of things I think I have to enjoy! Meeting with family whenever I can, playing video games, writing and drawing my stories without worrying about it being perfect... stuff like that! There's also some medical issues that I will hopefully make progress on this year
I also like cute stickers for a journal, but I struggle to use them up-breaking them up from the composition on their sheet is tough; often it is very cutely composed and feels like a finished work! Also, they are becoming expensive near me, so I hesitate regarding that, too.
I love your videos so much! I tried watching a few other YT channel’s videos, but their timing, angles, color and design sense irritated me! “No, do it the right way!! (Like Melts. 😂)” I am conditioned to love your videos’ properties! 😆
I’m a little sad hearing the extent of measures you are taking to keep your lungs healthy while wax-sealing. Because, I’m getting more and more interested in the hobby, but I also have had many lung problems. Finally after many years, I am improving, but it feels like I must accept that sealing will not be a good match for me. If only I can buy a set of your seals! But I live in the US. 😢

I’d love to see a video with lots of floral or botanical stamps, especially ones that have an elegant sand-grain background.
I like videos where you focus on your choices of wax and stamp combinations, but also I like the random-dip wax videos and even scrap wax videos so much! Each time, I think “this is the most beautiful! No other way is needed!” Is it the magic of editing? 🤔

10:54 we have something kind of similar, but we call it “gratitude journaling.” I think the intended end result is different, too, but it was similar enough it reminded me of this! Generally, you go get a journal, a notebook, whatever you can, and then you write down 3, 5 or maybe even 10 things (this is up to you, maybe increase the number after doing it regularly for a while? Or just whatever is comfortable. It’s better to write even only one thing rather than nothing) every day that you’re thankful/grateful for, things that make you happy, no matter how small that thing might be. Apparently, after some time, it will train your brain into looking for things to be happy about, things to be grateful and thankful for, no matter how small. So subconsciously, you’re always looking for the silver lining, even in a grim situation. I hear it’s actually very good for your mental well being! I don’t know if there’s any real scientific data on this or if it’s some silly pseudoscience, but it sounds good! It’s something I’d also like to start doing as well.
12:40 journaling is a great way to help yourself reflect and grow! ♥︎♡♥︎ You should also look into something called “practicing mindfulness,” I don’t know what it’s called in Korean- I hope there’s an actual translation! 😅 It’s something that a person would learn through either meditation or therapy. It helps people regulate their emotions and to stay grounded, to not let their worries, fears, anger etc. overwhelm them. It’s a great thing to practice! Difficult to master, though 😖

16:02 have you ever watched Oldboy? It’s one of my most favorite movies. It’s a Korean movie (forgive me if you already know that and I’m telling you something obvious). It really messed me up when it first came out in 2003 I think it was? I cried a lot after watching it 🙃 I’m not sure why I’m telling you this 😂 it’s a really good movie, but also very sad. Watch it sometime so you can tell me I’m crazy 🤣

I still have a few seals & wax from childhood, but the wax comes in a stick form with a wick, like a candle.
