Beyonce’s image is in fact manufactured by her criminal husband and criminal best friend (P. Diddy) which connected to Clive Davis (One of the most influence figure in the music industry and the grammys) but if we look at closely, the music industry knows exactly that Beyonce is A FRAUD since she stole those songwriting credits from other artists/songwriters and used slave labor for her business practices‼️At this point the music industry knows exactly that Beyonce is just a karaoke singer/LIVE Performer who can’t even make a self written song and self written album in her entire career. Even Beyonce’s biggest hits was written by a white dude‼️Also her fanbase and the general public don’t even listen to her new album since it’s out of the charts (Billboard 200 and other charts), it shows you that her fanbase uses Beyonce for the vibes only‼️Time will tell the real truth and I hope the real justice for the songwriters, composer and other artists who can’t even speak up/under nda‼️
Muni Long should sweep the R&B categories. If she doesn’t for some reason, fine I guess. ANYBODY but the backflip man though. Who actually talks about his music in 2024?
Rachel Chinouriri should've been nominated for a grammy in the rock and alt categories and I stand on that. But of course, it's always hard for the academy to see black performers as anything but rap and rnb and if they don't neatly fit in those, they shouldn't get anything at all apparently.
I see a lotta people discounting Beyoncé just bc Cowboy Carter wasn’t as commercially successful as some of her other albums (which, btw, i completely disagree), but the artistry and genre blending on cowboy carter is unparalleled and she damn well deserves AOTY. Now….Texas hold em for ROTY…iono lol
My favorite album of the year. I'm so proud. That's how you do nepotism. Use those resources and connections to hone your talents and really do that shit. She's so amazing. First time I'm excited about the grammys in a minute
Without Hiss 🐍, there would be no Not Like Us. The Kendrick/Drake beef has been going on for years, but only after Hiss dropped and went #1 w/ no pushback did the men in the industry suddenly feel froggy enough to talk about not liking Drake. Name one mention of Drake’s BBL and his fake abs before 2024.
@ Nicki jumped in front of a moving train over the Megan’s law bar, but the song was a diss at all of her opps since the shooting. A lot of the bars specifically apply to Drake, though.
Cowboy Carter and Renaissance turned me into a Beyoncé fan 🔥 I love both those albums so much every song envoke such emotion outta me! Some of her best work forsure
ariana’s album was great, vocals beautiful, production on point. definitely deserved to be up there but ariana has had multiple beefs with the recording academy so i’m not surprised. i agree im not into brat but charli deserves something for her cult following. i love tyla and think she’s great but her album kinda didn’t hit as hard as i thought it would. push 2 start was released recently w the deluxe and that should’ve been a third single. i think she’s super talented and water kinda overshadowed her album also hopefully this is beyonces year she does deserve most of the awards she’s nominated for. shaboozey does too for bar song being so big.
@ you can play that whole album thru with no skips other than maybe yes and? the concept was executed perfectly and while she doesn’t care to campaign it i do think it’s quality (maybe not popularity) was better than some other albums on there. also wcbf deserves best music video.
Cowboy Carter is my album of the year!!! So I’m rooting of Beyoncé to get all her things lol. AOTY, ROTY, BCA, BCS, BCD, Americana, Best Rap Performance like give it to her 😂❤
The way Alligator Tears and Daughter keep pulling me back to Cowboy Carter. And then I end up staying for American Requiem, Yaya, Tyrant, etc, etc. It is such a good album. But Alligator Tears and Daughter are the songs that have me in a chokehold.
tyla won a grammy and therefore isn’t eligible to BNA. i feel like it would’ve been cute to nominate her in that last year cause its incredibly stacked this year. she was snubbed in the pop & African & global categories imo.
I think traditional pop is relegated to the older pop acts with that incorporate jazzier more classical music into their work. I remember Tony Bennett/Lady Gaga getting in that category a few years back.
I don’t think Tyla was snubbed for album of the year because the album was just ok. If Tyla needs to be in album of the year, so does Tems. Tems album was heads and shoulders above Tyla
Tyla had one good song and y’all act like she’s the best thing since sliced bread lol that girl is not all that!! She’s definitely not better than Tems in my opinion.
Traditional Pop is a genre but in the current musical scope and Grammys' weird ways of defining genres (like wtf is progressive R&B? Besides Janelle Monae or Stevie Wonder, many artists in that category don't make that frfr), I don't think they're talking about the actual genre of Traditional Pop (think of the early Jazz standards and Tin Pan Alley) but like artists that older. Maybe the Beatles is considered Traditional Pop to the Grammys but idk I would have to see the nominations for 2024 to see what Traditional Pop is to them. Hope this comment makes sense lol 😅
KENYA I'm sooo with you on Cowboy Carter deserving all the things!! There's a very deep message behind the project and phenomenal production, vocal production and blending of genres
i’m really proud of charli and what she’s been able to accomplish this year, i’m def rooting for her to win that aoty but if not i’ll be SUPER happy for cowboy carter or midwest princess
Praying Billie sweeps again to make the girls mad. Need a diva moment from Billie sooooo bad, she's one of the biggest and influential Gen Z acts like I need her to talk her SHIT 😭😭😭
Idk, I think Ariana was MAJORLY snubbed here. As a body of work, Eternal Sunshine is so cohesive and has a great arc and throughline. Maybe her best album. I also think We Can’t Be Friends should’ve been nominated for record, song, and music video
I’m glad Ariana has 3 Grammy nominations this year but the fact that she didn’t get nominated in one of the Big Four categories is kinda disappointing.
The Grammy's missed the boat for What was I Made For? And got clowned by The Oscars, so I would bet Billie's gonna sweep with Birds of a Feather and Hit me Hard and Soft.
I know it wasn't the cohesive or best rollout of singles, but I really thought that Dua Lipa would at least get a nom for one of her singles. IMO Houdini was my favourite out of the three and the most interesting production wise. You get to hear more of it on the extended version and I liked that it was something different (since Kevin Parker aka Tame Impala was one of the producers).
I can't get on the Tyla praise 😅. She’s very average talent wise hence why She’s often compared to Rihanna. But Rihanna was a hard worker, had popstar aura and and had hits.

Tyla should have submitted for R&B categories because there were too many strong songs in Pop. However, Water should have been nominated for Pop Solo Performance.
Folks are making new rock music busy most of them are black or of color. I think Meg was probably nominated until Not like us Came out. He doesn’t really deserve a Grammy for that song tbh. As for R&B Lucky Daye had a better album than Usher 🤷🏾♀️ love usher down

Made for Me and the Revenge album was great. She deserves to sweep the R&B categories.

ROTY is for the production, the arranger, the music enginer.
