What a beautiful and painful interview....marshallah what a strong and brave woman 👩 ❤
Thank you for this wonderful interview from Lebanon. Very important to hear.
But our tears 😭 😭are out 😭😭😭😭
FREE HUMANITY FREE PALESTINE 🇵🇸
I am Lebanese & have been a Palestinian activist for over 40 years & can honestly say they will never know freedom under the occupation & with other's who don't regard them as human beings 😢😢😢
The solution is very simple.
They must compromise.
I live in USA my government is the evil thank you for opening our eye's so we can see how you're life is i send you hugs you are wonderful human beings
Move to Gaza. Very easy!
It is true NOBODY would be asked to PUT up with what PALESTINIANS have been going through.
They asked for it by their actions. Muslims ethnically cleasened Christians from Lebanon.
She's an occupier and genocider.
Thank you for your interview we only hear about the settlers , Viva Palestine . They are lovely gentle people from UK
Thank you for this interview 🙏🏻.
Basma - you are embodiment of Palestinian spirit !!!
I am truly touched by your courage, and by your understanding of importance not to accept being victimized, not that you are not, but not live the victim life.
Only those who know true suffering can understand the importance of your words and the way of life you choose.
God willing, free Palestine 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻❤️❤️❤️.
Stay strong, sister Basma 🙏🏻❤️
Free Palestine forever!
Everyone should listen to Basma. We can all learn from her, everyone who has been displaced or has had to emigrate or ask for asylum will feel her words in their bones. I am inspired to move WITH my fellows, have confidence in my community which is very mixed here in UK, and not work against my self or against my fellows. I work in healthcare and I see all kinds of consequences of conflict and oppression. But I also see courage and tenacity. I am grateful for all these voices and influences.
I cried each time she said and described how they have lived without any human rights. What a cruel world we live in. I'm so ashamed I'm crying again writing this. My Lady ✨ is empowered by God to speak of the hardest life Palestine people have been deprived of. Godspeed ✨🙏🏻✨
An amazing woman. Thank you.
Great interview.
She is right, the Nakba never ended to all people of Palestine ! All Israeli do not have any right to the historic land of Palestine.
Palestinians living outside: Gaza, West Bank, TelAviv, Jerusalem, Negev may not be experiencing the harassments and apartite system of Israel but you live with your displacement and statelessness and the ignorance plus predjidices of the host nations. I found when I was in UAE there was a certain attitude towards Palestinians by Emiraties. I admire though the stoicness of Palestinians I see living on and off the land especially the children and both of you. Thankyou fou opening up and baring your souls.
My greatest respect to you, Basma!
I fell in love with Basma & her positive attitude but compared to the people living & dying & suffering in Palestine it's virtually impossible for them to be positive 😢
Thank you, Amid, for this interview, Basma opened my eyes even more. I, as a supporter of the palestinian rights, needed to hear this.
Much love and respect to both of you.
Samood, sawood, shame we don't have a word for it.
I have had traumatic experiences in my live, and I have been a victim, and understand that you can not stay in the feeling of being a victim, feeling sorry for yourself stops you from being strong, and strength you need.
Depression for instance , nobody is depressed in survival mode, you just can not afford it, and you would be a burden on your surroundings, taking away their strength.
Depression is a rich-men's disease.
I always get told that I am so strong, I do not see myself that way, after all I had no choice.
What I do see is a lot of people think of themselves as being stronger then others, they never got their strength challenged though, they were never forced to be strong.
And this idea of being better then others is also a rich-men's disease.
We will all be strong, and we will all be weak, circumstances make us react, and when we look at ourselves realistically, and not with a self-image, we can change weakness into strength.
Thank you so much i leaned so much from you today
Salam sister very inspiring.may Allah bless you.never lose hope
Thank you Basma for sharing and talking about your experience beautiful and painful interview. Free Palestine
Very important. So many people die in pain and nobody can tell there storys. We must fight for the humen rights. Everyone of us can give the palestinian a voice. Be loud and peaceful.
Thank you for this interview. One of the things that infuriates me is the patronizing way the western leaders want to decide for themselves what will happen to the Palestinian people without talking to even one palestinian. It is the epitome of entitlement of an attitude of superiority they do not do it. The only Arabs they will deal with are the richest ones that have something they need. They never speak with women. I have thought during this 7 month horror, that leaders, old white men, are completely inept in this situation. In an ideal world for Gaza a group of gazans should be chosen to decide what their future should be, like 10 women and 10 men or more, doctors engineers teachers administrators tradespeople etc from all professions. It shouldn't be just a dream to be able to self determine a future.
You forgot the alphabet people. Oh! No! They were all killed by the muslims,
Palestinians have become a symbol for the horrific injustice of the world order and the dystopian place that history has taken us all. In this way, they have become a symbol for all humanity and all humans who value life and truth and justice. So much respect for taking back agency and refusing to lose their humanity. All hope is born of despair. This is not romanticism, it is survival and retrieving ones agency, humanity, dignity and truth at the deepest level and I honour and respect all Palestinians and of the diaspora for theur incredible courage and depth of underdtanding if what it means to be human. Their grief and loss and unbelievable strength also needs to be recognised and gives hope for the future survival of Palestinians and humanity itself. To paraphrase Nelson Mandela, Humanity will not be free until the Palestinians are free.
This is a lesson in how NOT to harden oneself into a victim identity and a lesson especually to the zionists and all humans who embrace the ideology of victimhood and use it to perpetuate fear and hate how to understand that to be fully human we have to know ourselves through our suffering as humans wuth a deeoer truth. Refusing the ideology of victimhood for our suffering as humabs allows us to know all earth as our home and our humaness as our true identity.
The occupation must end!
Naqba continues to this day..
In other words a Warrior Survivor!!!!!!! YESS! You must make up your own terms and phrases for your most faithful & courageous people!
I have decided to learn Arabic this past year and I'm excited to be able to read and interact with them.
We must make a positive change in our world by supporting Palestine in any way we can. Donate, adopt a child, speak out in their defense. Be a good human. #StopTheZionist #Nakba #FreePalistine #Basma🌹
I applaud this courageous women... stay positve!
There are many children from refugee parents from around the world and grandparents living abroad in the USA and I am happy to see I have done right by my children and all humanity to support this justice for humanity for a people from a far away and different land than where we travelled from as our experiences of our ancestors is instilled in us. We must rise above being a victim and move forward for all people, not just our own in order to leave a good legacy behind. Our names and faces may be forgotten in time but our legacy will remain in the future societies.
World is in shock seeing they ‘faith & believes they have inn Allah . May Allah give them strength protection 🤲🤲
Astaghfirullah may Allah ease their suffering
Let’s all recite hazrat Nuh dua constantly until their situation resolves permanently in their favor Aameen
Wow!! Thank you very much for this fabulous, one of a kind interview!!! This woman is fantastic!!!!
Thank you again Ahmed for bringing these amazing guests to speak to us about their experiences. Basma is a wonderful advocate for all Palestinians and especially for those who ae currently exiled. May you all get to return to your homeland very soon.
You are correct: coin your own Palestinian words to describe your experiences. I will use amuse for now on. Your people are amazing. I am American and am furious with what my government has done and is doing. There are many Americans on your side and our younger generation give me hope. I keep all of you in my prayers and that one day you will have the peace, prosperity, and justice you deserve.
“Samoud” spell check isn’t accepting this word. Sorry.
OMG , This is so difficult to listen to. I cannot believe we live in such a world 😢
What a special interview. Thank you both for opening yor beautiful hearts ❤❤
Samood for all of you must be found to move forward. Prayers you find your samood.
Thank for the good topic. She is a strong woman,Masyallah.salam from Republic Of Indonesia 😊😊💝💝💝💪💪
What a powerful woman you are Basma ❤
Can't believe she was asked if she thought she was romancing the situation because she kept her head, and remained rational in the face of odds that would overwhelm pampered westerners.
People think reality is fiction we have to shake them up so they can see no matter how difficult.
@@VickiNikolaidis
I can respect that, it's just boggles the mind, a retarded goose with a glass eye could see the horrific nature of the situation. In my humble opinion- those who don't see the reality by now never will because they have skin in the game, or are drunk from the propagandist koolaid.
We pray Allah subhanahu wa taala to accept ur struggle n give u back ur land n live free

I would like to tell you that I really appreciate your channel and your journalistic work. This interview was also impressive. Ms. Basma El Doukhi spoke about the way she deals with the difficult life and that gives people courage. Overall, it is important for people to hear that it is also possible to reduce their own helplessness by working for others and by informing people. "Among the limited opportunities that unfortunately often exist for Palestinians in Gaza and the West Bank and also in Lebanon, you do have a bit of freedom to do something - for others.
Thank you
Sabbat - stay strong and steadfast
I'm absolutely against Islam, but that doesn't mean I'm against humanity. I hope and pray for the Palestinians and the end of the occupation.
Thank you for sharing your story with us; you are an amazing human being. We are crying with you. Stay strong. I can't believe this catastrophe! I knew very little what you've had to go through for the past 70 odd years. I kiss your hands. I pray for you every day and every week and every month. I have seen the Zionist roofless behavior. We are seeing everything but we are not doing much. My heart is with you. But thank you Lebanon for doing what ever you are doing; it seems you are the only one helping. And thank you South Africa; Israel has now became my biggest nightmare now. Israel is EVIL...SAITANS...!!
😭😭😭😭my tears 😭 came out
i believe god made palestinian as such because He want to test the mankind. these palestinians are god choosen people. those who loved by god will always be tested by god.
Stunning!!!!! Thank you!!!!
Love love you lady basma❤❤❤❤❤❤ you are my soul mate .
U r great people
U r making us courageous inour personal n social life
May Allah bless you with good health and prosperity aamin summa aameen
Truth.
حسبنا الله ونعم الوكيل
She is a bright brilliant Light in the the midst of Darkness that has found herself with no choice. Her decision to avoid a victim label attachment despite her circumstances is the greatest form of power and reliance that should be admired specially in a world that people pride themselves to bring misery upon themselves and their society by ignoring their god-given privileges and commit atrocities under the false coverings of "victimhood" ........... This lady is a perfect example of what placing your hope and trust in the highest power -- The Lord -- and choose not to let the evil that you unjustly experienced penetrate your soul with the darkness of despair can result in the life of an individual!
We were not able to guarantee the safety of Palestinians during the Mandate despite all efforts and its a shame!
War is the saddest 😢 thing in the world, and now we must pray and allow our God of love to intervene in this matter..titi sandi nyc
Protest in the streets and boycott all Israeli made products until they stop the genocide!
What an amazing woman.
God bless her
As an American of Algerian descend
This young lady Asma is very deep .
Yes Palestine is very special people
Naming there children’s Jaffa Haifa and more is like a tree with very deep roots
God bless you sister
Palistinans need their land back so that this brave young woman and thousand's of otherescan have their the lives they were ment to live in threr home land
💔
They tried to dehumanize the Palestinian people, but the only people they dehumanized were themselves.
After this war, because I believe this is our last fight. I don't want us to sink into victimhood. We are survivals. We are heroic. Let's learn this lesson from Israel. A society of people with victimhood mentality ends up a perpetual victim. #FreePalistine
Very Serius Painful 15/05/1948 NAKBA.
Assalamu Alaikum! I love the Palestinian people! ❤ 🇵🇸 Palestinians are the salt of the earth! Palestinian resistance, their steadfastness, their implicit faith in the face of ethnic cleansing, genocide, apartheid, starvation, oppression, injustice, is an inspiration to the world. Ma'sha Allah. My daughter, who I am so proud of, is half Palestinian, second generation diaspora, and we are out there protesting. As June Jordan said, "Palestine is the moral litmus test of the world." None of us in the world are truly free until Palestine is free. My ex-husband was born in Iraq, and his family lived in Kuwait until the Gulf War. They then were forced to leave and fled to Jordan. My ex-husband immigrated to America. Palestinians living in Lebanon, Jordan, Egypt, etc. are not considered citizens of their host countries, and the simple things we take in the West as inherent, basic rights, are not afforded to Palestinians. Second class, non-citizens. I am grateful you are speaking out and informing people about the camps, and the conditions that Palestinians in the camps live in. We love you, and we are out there protesting. You ARE making a difference, as are we in our solidarity with Palestinians. Change is slow. We may not see a free Palestine in our lifetime, but we are paving the way. Stay strong. صامد
I believe God willing that we will see free palestine in my life time this is my biggest wish.
Events of past few months have left little doubt that there are two different factions of Zayo NOT-Z:
Those who are denying the Palestinian Hollowcost and those who are insisting to carry on with a Palestinian Hollowcost
*Rest* *in* *Power* *Aaron* *Bushnell* I will never forget you and your last words of " *Free* *Palestine* "
I don't like how you wanted her to be a victim so bad, but she refused to be a victim. Ehat a remarkable woman. ❤
You are not asking for much my Dear; you are so blessed..! Sooo blessed. I tried to contact my friend in Palastine but he hasn't replied to me; is he dead? I need answers -Please. I want Palestine's to be saved from this Israeli's scavengers. They even wrecked soo many aid trucks. They want to kill them all just because they feel like it...!! ENOUGH....
No we are not "Romanticising.... this woman is trying to tell you hiw much she has suffefed but had the inner strength to stand up and walk on in the direction she wants to go.
They will not erase our identity as hard they try. We shall return, God willing. May Allah increase you in guidance and determination.
I sometimes feel that the palestinians have the communication skills of a diplomat because they have so much time devoted to having to explain themselves. I think this must be good for getting everyone to relate well with each other.......a way of coping while acknowledging that this is tough
It is so said your leaders haven't chosen peace all these years, and given you your homeland.
She is living in Lebanon. Her leaders do not control her homelamd. Israel took it.
My Allah bless and help Palestinian people . Resist and never surround to zionist
Peace can only achieve by laying down arms.
Hopefully Israel will lay down their arms and free the 11,500 Palestinians held illegally in Israeli prisons!
Will Israel lay down arms
It's hard really hard of which even the social worker don't help.
Never deny the right to feel anything,we are allowed to feel! That's not being a victim stop 🛑 victim blaming!
At a huge price of sacrifice, Hamas lifted the veil & forced the world 2 witness ugly side of Zionism & hypocrisy of so-called Western Democracy. Like many in the world, Ive fallen in love with the Palestinans: their spirit, grace, culture & steadfastness.
👍 👍 👍 👍
The storytelling is missed in the pamphlets I read. Instead it usually talks about apartheid and racism. Indignant, for sure, but is it like being up half the night in a beautiful discussion between friends? I liked it like crazy.
Palestinians will have Justice Freedom and Peace Long Live Gaza
Inshaallah Palestine will be free very soon Inshaallah Allahuakbar
Lights Cameras Actions bah
Lovely! Could you do a corresponding film called Statelessness as a Feeling: from the Babylonian exile to Roman occupation to Nazi domination ...I'm talking, of course, about the Jews.
I believe that the Christian palestinians were given Lebanese citizenship in Lebanon but not the Muslim palestinians.
There was 3 million Palestinians in Palestine in 1948 750,000 of them were displaced to different countries as refugees but the other 1 million were killed the other remaining subject to occupation and colonization
and your intelligence was killed when?
Just keep trolling with rude comments because the whole world sees what you really are now.
@@waltermesser9737 Free Palestine from these Zionist Racists brainwashing white supremacists European colonisers extremest hijacking Judaism free Palestine 🇵🇸 thinking Israel is the name of the land Israel was a Palestinian and a prophet not the name of Palestine.Palestine IsReal.
Without power or compromise the Palestinians will lose more as you explained above.
In 10 years time, their land will be a lot smaller as in the past, don't you think so?
In 1947 there were
630,000 Jews
143,000 Christians
1,181,000 Muslims living in British Mandate Palestine.
The number of Palestinians killed during the partition of Palestine was between 3,000 and 13,000. Note the wide difference indicating poor information. This is in addition to 7,000 Arab soldiers and 6,500 Jews ( 4,000 combatants, 2,500 civillians).
No historical source claims 1million dead.
The Indian war of partition in 1947 created 15 million refugees and claimed 1million lives with widely published mass killings of thousands.
The only published information on Palestinian deaths is a handful of village scale massacres in the tens with the biggest around one hunded victims.
The way I understand her is that everything has made her stronger. P@lest1nians are like diamonds who have been made by the pressure they have been under!! I see a similar situation with black people in this country. They, too, have struggled and been so oppressed that they have far surpassed others because of their effort to overcome!!!
A home will not be gained by terror..!!
Israel is an Apartheid rouge state!
Everyone have a right to for their homes at all cost.Their home was stolen from them and it was given to someone from the other side of the world, read the history. Land without people for people without land, it's obvious that statement wasn't true because it's obvious that people were on and in that land check the cemeteries and who are barried in those cemeteries I mean the cemeteries that israel hasn't destroyed yet.
All of the Armenians in Lebanon are today Lebanese but the Palestinians born in Lebanon are denied citizenship as a policy. They are kept apart by apartheid regime as a stick to beat Israel.
What percent live off donations?
Considering everything she describes about Lebanon - is there a reason nobody is calling it apartheid??? And why do I not see any anger about Lebanon in the comments?
YOU must push for 1967 borders at all times, to resolve the issue.
You either need power or compromise there are no other ways, simple.
... .
The whole world is witnessing this inhuman, brutal occupation committed on the Palestinians by the fascists izrhell. We cannot unsee what we have seen. Free Palestine 🇵🇸
Sometimes I feel it should be a one state solution called Palestine because Israel has shown such bad governmental choices for decades.
I live in Israel and I have visited "refugee camps". After 76 years these are not tent encampments anymore. They are urban neighborhoods. For example this was Gaza before October 7 ruclips.net/video/PMcPrjc7YVM/видео.htmlsi=OoGVDCscLbFd6voR. I don't think that the standard of living, infant mortality and life expectancy on average was worse than Cairo or Amman.
