Those Kawasaki engines are pretty nice. Space is tight around that filter, but one tip is to cut off the bottom of a 2L soda bottle and put the bottle over the filter. Can pinch the bottle to turn the filter and the bottle will catch the oil coming out as you remove the filter.
Cool to see you do a maintenance video, excellent. My push mower is planned as my next one. If you have ever forgotten to coat some oil on the filter's gasket before installing, you know when you try to remove it next time and it's melted to the gasket seat and won't release. For the drips I just stick some newspaper under fuel/oil/lines/filters to catch the spills.
What engineer who graduated last in his/her class designed such a mess? When I change my Toyota oil filter, don't spill a single drop because of the quite-nice design. Is there a way to prevent oil from the Oil Filter from spilling like that on the Raptor?
A friend just gave me one of these for free, just needs a new battery and tune up as it's been sitting in his shed for a few years since he retired his landscaping business

Woo that is a great idea! Thank you. I have enjoyed this mower. It really cuts well.
all u dummies that male 30 min videos to do a 5 min job, take notes from this dude...right to the point, gives all the info, job well done
Ha yes I watched several of those 30min videos and tried to get this cut down. When I watch RUclips to do an oil change I want it short!
It helps to run the engine for a few minutes to heat up the oil. It drains faster that way.
Yes sadly my battery was low from winter. I had to charge it (next lawnmower video) it would not start.
Where did you get the clear tubing at😊

Thank you for this video - straightforward and to the point. Much appreciated!
Thanks for listing the filter part numbers. It's really helpful.
Great tips, thanks Seth. I need to do this shortly on a RedMax but it also has a Kawasaki engine so perfect. Thank you.
great vid! no wasted time....nice & helpful. ty
Great video!!! I have the same mower. Do you happen to know what size socket fits the oil drain nut?
Thanks so much for this, you made it look nice and easy! Heading off to do mine now :)
Very precise. Thx you
Do you have a video on filling the fluid in the trans?
Excellent work!

If you cut a plastic oil container in half and put under the oil filter it will catch that oil.
A small aluminum foil pan also works well.
Can you make a video and how to change the oil drain plug itself
Nice and thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching! This mower has been really nice.

That is a nice gift!
What size tube did you use to run from the drain to the catch pan?
He used a 1/2" tube. He has some other good notes in the description.
Where did you get the oil.hose from? What size?
It's either 1/2" or 3/4". I got a small piece from lowes. Sadly I don't remember the exact size. I'm leaning more to the 3/4".
