Yes, Matt is an amazing at teaching. I have his jazz book plus the Ray Brown transcript, and his CD and I enjoy them a lot.
His lessons are approachable to many levels, and might feel like short videos but I do get lots from them when I watch them for a 3rd or 4th time, always.

Loved this shout out to these bass teachers. Matt and Anna I was already following and they’re excellent. Jacob is new to me, and I’ll have to go check his channel what a cool technique!
Anne is amazing as well, one of the last videos in the wild with the mech metronome. All of the series on posture and stress, and of course the series on how to solo on one note that is building up from there.

Jason, thank you so much for the wonderful podcast (my point of entry), website, videos and email newsletter. You connect us to so many great resources, people and music. You've got a great spirit and curiosity about all things bass.
All that said - I am a fan! - I would encourage you to take your advice at 13:00 to keep it short. I find myself skipping through a lot of small talk and overlong introductions and worry I'm missing something (and also, weirdly feel I'm being rude to you who put so much into this work).
