Great reaction to one of our Swedish National Treasures!!🤘🇸🇪 (Tommy Johansson is the other one😉). In my opinion one of our best singers right now. I don't care too much about the mainstream pop that the radio stations usually play. I'm a metalhead🤘 Erik earned a huge amount of my respect, being the only one ( I think) winner of Swedish Idol, that made a career as a metal singer. He recently left Skid Row after 2 years as their front man, because of health issues. Looking forward to more reactions to him and maybe Tommy J?😉

Anyone else notice how his lip twitches just a little like Elvis before the ball & chain lyric? Love the camera and lighting making his eyes look completely black and soulless in some shots too. One thing I’d change. Last line should be spoken not sung. Low and raspy. Would have been even better. Having said that….this is the BEST cover ever. The editing is superb and his voice was epic.
I wouldn't call it the original since it's a traditional folk song. The lyrics was published in 1925, maybe even earlier, and there is at least one recording from the 1930s.

Great version, but if you haven't already, go watch the ORIGINAL by the Animals.
I wouldn't call it the original since it's a traditional folk song. The lyrics was published in 1925, maybe even earlier, and there is at least one recording from the 1930s.
