- Between the buff to Cable and the release of Mockingbird, it's time to revisit one of my favorite archetypes, a thief deck!

Power Estimate: This is almost definitely worse than doing similar things with proven Loki builds, but it still worked well for me, landing at a 59% win rate and beating some meta decks by using their strong cards against them.

That first game with the mirror Skrull and Ironman followed by "mirrored" tribunal was amazing, sheesh!

I made this exact deck as soon as Mockingbird came out, I call it Box of Chocolates...because you never know what you are going to get. I don't have Iron Lad, Mirage, or Rogue unfortunately so this is a lot more effective, the other 9 cards are the same, I've got Nick Fury, Hope Summers, and Dr. Doom in mine. If you are lucky enough to get Hope Summers into Nick Fury you can play any of the 6 drops on turn 5 even if you don't have Quinjet, if Dr. Doom is played on turn 5 next to Hope you have 7 mana on turn 6 and a 3 cost Mockingbird, possibly lower.

Man, I really wanna try all these decks but the progression system is so so shit. Spent 3 keys and still didnt get Mockingbird. At least I got 1k tokens for a duplicate though, thanks SD :)
Dude the 1000 tokens is such a slap in the face. Happens to me almost every week. Or a variant.
Also the amount of people who defend the current system is baffling.
By the time you're able to get any cool card, it gets nerfed.
Sounds like bad luck, which happens. I've been fairly lucky to get all the cards though, going forward I suspect difficulty as I used my last key for Mockingbird and got it in one. Now I'm out of keys and down to 3k tokens.
@@PapiKitsune It would be fine... if they gave (much) more Collectors Tokens from other sources. But fuck me they are so stingy with those.

This deck is so fun. I haven’t had much luck into discard though. Playing against Tribunal or Negative is super fun though. Maybe I need to get my hands on Loki now…

@RegisKillbin was there a reason you didn't play rogue on to power stone at the game that ended at the about 32 min mark? seem like you have enough discounts to put down power, and make them lose 10 power. might have won all 3 lanes

this deck seems fun, i dont own marage or iron lad but i replaced ironlad with absorbing man since they do something simaler kind of and mirage was replaced with forge since they both give a +2 but forge is not optimal though
31:38 You can rogue the power stone to steal 10 power from thanos ( and make a 12 power play that he likely did not expect)

At 31:30 you could have used rogue to remove powerstones buff to thanos, making it a 12 power swing… Even if it did have a 50% chance of hitting prof x instead, it would have let you hedge your bets.

I tried this deck and it did not work for me at all, but the current deck I am using is running pretty well and would love to see you give it a try. I call it mockingbird tokens the deck contains the following: America Chavez, Nico, Mr. Sinister, Okoye, Morph, Patriot (may take it out for something else), Brood, Teenage Warhead, Elsa Blood stone, Cull Obsidian, Blue Marvel, and of course Mocking Bird. Now I have been thinking about changing out Patriot with Nakia or Capt. America. Like I said I would love to see you give this deck a try and let me know what you think.
I have a updated version to the deck now I just replaced Cull with Iron Lad, Replaced Patriot with Cable. Now play tested the deck it is working very well. I challenge you to give this deck a try if you want.
Ugh, I can't stop seeing that tiny Collector arm now. At least I use a different variant :)

Why? It flips to 14-15. Opponent plays anything and it's tied or lost. Regis made the safer play with the board state.
Mockingbird is a fantastic card, I love her.

Does stealing the Power Stone reduce the Thanos ?
I like the Yondu, Cable, Gladiator, Beast version for a funsies sort of mood.
The yondu change feels like a nerf to me...like I'm clearing out their low cost cards for them. Will miss the feeling of destroying a Modok or Knull to start off a game.
On the upside of the yondu change, you can snipe a smaller thing with yondu and then maybe grab a bigger thing with cable by virtue of the fact the smaller thing is now gone. Could be very disruptive taking that bigger thing.
@3andremd it's definitely a for fun deck. Sometimes you draw them into their payoff and it feels bad. Other times they have no cards in their deck on turn 5 and it feels good. Not a deck to play for cubes lol.
Another mill enjoyer, I see. I was using nebula as bait for mantis. Beast and falcon to reproc yondu and obviously cable and gladiator as well. Knull as a surprise and shang/maximus as finishers. Spiderham to kill whatever they already have. Very fun, but difficult to win with. Yondu and mantis now are worse for sure.
Maybe milling their hand is better? Using Wong + moon knight, silver samurai and blackbolt?
@@samy29987 it's been ages since I tried a hand mill deck. Might give it a whirl in a couple of conquests this afternoon and see if I can squeeze out a gold with it.

You could have used rogue to steal power stone and take 10 power from thanks btw. Still a nice win but could have been less chaotic.
31:39 you could have also played rouge to steal power stones ongoing. that would have reversed Thanos back to a 10

Mantis and cable is enough in this deck tbh, I would add a stat stick like devil dino or a tech card like echo or zabu
I swear every time I play super skrull everyone has only on reveals, so I switch, and first new match up is tribunal or negative lol
Really hope they buff White Queen somehow. She still feels powercrept.
When u face thanos on right side.. U can steal stone with rogue and thats down 10 power actually.. 😅
