Time has been kind to the Yaris, still see multiples of them everyday. The Punto and Fiesta however not so much.
The yaris is the one that you still see the most on the road
The prices look horrific for a small car in 1999
thanks for leaving the ads in!! ivt got an 8210 lol
That Evo still stacks up, 4 seconds to 60mph was incredible for '99 and still impressive today! Lack of ABS wouldn't fly nowadays however.
Wow mike brewer is so young here
I don't think this episode is from October 1999. According to the TV listings I have from that year, the 1999 series of Driven aired from 20th April to the 27th July 1999.
The 1998 series of Driven ran from (oddly) the 13th Oct to the 24th Nov 1998. Abit strange that the first series only aired for about a month an a half.
I had one of those Fiesta’s (2002) which was a hand me down when I was 17. It was by far the most uncomfortable cars I have ever driven and gave me terrible back pain. However, it was definitely a gutsy little thing and the Isuzu engine was dynamite.
please upload more driven and old top gear episodes thank u :)
I've got quite a stack... just powering through them, will get them up asap! Stay tuned!
This will be from the 11th May 1999.

Penny is an attractive lady but I got shocked when I found out she was only 33 by then...
People looked at least ten years older back then. Odd
