Which character should I make a build video on next? 🤔
Cagliostro, or anything on your top list imo. I would say dragonboy but Lancelot just seems like a far better DPS due to how well he can weave in damage while dodgeing. That freeze too is clutch af on bosses.

Like DarkHero kind of alluded to, Damage Cap is, in my opinion, the most important stat in the game. The game caps damage you can do with all attacks, skills, link attacks, and chain bursts. You can add all the crit damage, attack, combo booster or finisher, or whatever you want, but if you hit the cap, you won't get any benefit from those stats. Raising the Damage Cap allows you to take advantage of more stats. If you are in the end game, like extreme or higher, that should one of if not the highest priorities.
Balancing how much dmg vs cap you have on your build is the true end game hahaha
some characters cap earlier than others too, like cagliostro caps without even using any atk boost sigils while lancelot has a considerably higher ceiling
Very true but end game is 2 tiers above extreme. Most builds will have 4-5 damage cap sigils
My ferry build is so crazy damage cap, combo booster,, combo finsher and all i have to do is hold square and the boss is dead
@hua.. I dunno man I maxed the damage cap and can't seem to hit higher than around 18k per hit with 32209 attack while I was doing around 14k at 17k attack on my lancelot before I added glass Canon and berserker sigils
I would personally like to see zeta next, she's probably going to be my next unlocked character once I get to chapter 6.
She seems super fun and I didn't really get much of a chance to play her in the demo
She’s a great character but her combo timing is really tight. You kind of need her gold Dalia sigil to use her well

Same. Need the fried build.
So far he need max damage cap so 4/5 sigils will be taken for that. Then put some generic damage like weak point and crit damage if you have high crit. The other slots need to be defensive since you will be in the enemy face attacking all the time so use things like garrison and improved guard. Cascade,linked together, potion hoarder are also nice to have but only if you have space.

For most characters maxing damage, if your attack stat is high enough (through mastery / weapon ascension). The only damage stat you need and want is Damage Cap and then what ever Crit Chance % you can get to 100% and both character traits. Everything else you should get QOL & def traits like Improved Dodge, HP, drain and/or regen, Guts, potion hoarder, cooldown reduction stuff etc. Do not use all 10 sigil slots for just damage increases, you will suffer for it later.
My Id currently has just over 10k attack stat and level 57 in DMG Cap. No matter how much more Atk% or DMG% i add (be it from skill, crit, weak point, charge attack, overdrive, break, stamina, perfect dodge/block related atk% etc nothing! lol). The only things that seem to increase my damage further for me, is more flat attack from Tyrant for example and you can include Supplementary Damage also, but that's just an additional damage instance based on the hit that triggers it(really good though).
Test your stuff out on the training dummy by swapping in/out different traits to find what works best for you though.
Also, focus on leveling the weapon that has "Ascension" below its name, getting it to 150 asap. You wont regret it :)
Bro none of the RUclipsrs touch Tyranny for some reason. It's the most important damage skill next to dmg cap.
It does reduce your HP by 20%, which is quite a lot. Currently im sitting at just over 48K HP and i would be replacing my Aegis/Regen sigil so i would loose more like 35% of my current HP, which is a lot. I need to get it on one of my Sigils that is not V+ (ideally dmg cap/tyranny V+). HP is a good way to survive and potions restore % of HP too :)@@spadetheghost

Would love to see a build on Charlotta. Feel like she does not get talked about a lot, and I'm really interested in seeing what she can dish out.
Charlotta was one of the most talked about in the beta, particularly because she was Lancelot+. Her combo is only slightly slower than his (counting his double hits) and her skills are hilariously better. Her gap closer has def down, her sustained dage outdamages, her selfish buff is stronger and lasts until you get hit, her triangle skill adds burst for when you need it and is far safer. Also she has invulnerable built into her kit.

Ive been maining. He is a beast. 13hit invincibility, and invincibility every time you use your heavy finisher is crazy. Don’t forget the 3hit mirage skill.
With my build he does 1.3m with his flashing void, and if you reset it using perpetual rotation you can do another 1.3m. But definitely can go higher.
Could you do a vane build? i would love to see one since he seems like a really good character!!

You are gonna need damage cap maxed for any build at the endgame, and crabby resonance for the +1000 attack
Crabby resonance is a nice way for a "free big atk boost" lol

for the weapon you might want to focus the weapon with the "Ascension" title they can be further upgraded after reaching lvl 150 whereas other can't
Where is the source on that? Because so far - Ascension is just the name for the attack modifer like Stinger is the modifier for Crit. But the wiki shows as the cap 150 the same as others.
@@RonIbarraI've seen it on a wiki and i tried capping an "Ascension" and then spoke to Siero and a new option was available where I could further enhance those weapon

I would like a build for narmaya since I reached max lvl and I'm closely approaching proud quests and I would like to just demolish everything with her
Lance's jump skill lets him dodge big attacks as well. No I frames but you can dodge attacks like Quakadiles tail whip if you time it right. My personal fav rune on him is Berserker. With his masteries his special dodge is way more generous than the regular dodge, and as Berserker takes away your ability block or regular dodge, it's a great addition on him for some serious damage. My one complaint for him is I wish he had more base attack range. Sometimes I feel like a toddler being held at arms length wildly swinging my arms.

Dont forget vane is a tank from nature yes u can build him bruiser but his purpose is being a tank ;)
One thing I see that a lot of ppl not knowing is that your ascension weapon is the best weapon to pick out of all the weapons because after maxing it out, you unlock the weapon awakening, which can further enhance the weapons stats.
Keep it up bro just need a tank build for vane.

I use a controller with back buttons (Xbox elite) and it makes things like this so much better.
FYI, best wep for every char are Terminus series weps, that have a small chance to drop via the final Proud diffuclty quest Vs Proto Bahamut. At max awakening levels, grants you catastrophe +25 (incease dmg cap after passing certain hp threshold), hp regen overtime, dmg cap+5 and sigil boost (increase all sigil lvs by 1). My Narmaya has 90% crit rate with just one crit rate V+ sigil. All masteries maxed.
Having all masteries maxed per char should give you about 90% crit rate with a crit rate sigil. So Terminus series weps are the end goal for all chars.

Also the big "fists in your face only" dude might be the strongest character. Apparently you can squeeze out like 6 charge attacks during links time with him and they hit for hundrets of thousands easily even before lvl 100.
I still think zeta and yodarha have the highest numbers ingame o.O
From what I have tested vaseraga is definitely stronger overall. He doesn’t need link time to spam his charge attack and has two skills that “skip” to the big hit. It would be much closer if link attack gave ghandagoza full fury, but it doesn’t

Yeah I was 😅 In the endgame he's even better. Freezing bosses before they do 1 shot attacks is awesome and once you add his sigils his damage goes through the roof

No overdrive assassin or tyranny is a waste tbh. Especially since monsters are in overdrive for a long period of time. Personally I put break assassin on the AI and overdrive assassin on my character. Really helps scale your dmg output along with skilled assault.
Not going to lie I was really struggling with Lancelot until I started running mirror images. But I think that just shows how bad I am. But if your not a god gamer mirror images is kind of broken. It has a pretty low cooldown and it blocks quite a few attacks for you making it so you can just focus on dishing out tons of damage without having to worry too much about dodging.
Idk if he's the absolute max DPS in the game but his ability to dodge/move while DPSing means he likely has the highest uptime which likely does translate into him being the best
I think the best dps might be id because his dragon form and esp his godform deal so much dps

There's a lot of German design inspiration everywhere even the dragons are western style instead of snake like or wyverns, and there's things like knights or emphasis on metal crafting. It's super interesting

This looks like Water Sword spam dual katana build from Nioh 1 and 2 but with a combat dodge that doesn’t reset the combo. I realize making builds takes effort and actual work so kudos for the investment man, just… I’m meh on this character’s playstyle. Reminds me too much of co op Nioh 1 and 2 sessions where that was the only move the host used and they would just die repeatedly.

Great character no doubt but spamming 'x" is not my personal definition of fun.
Lancelot is cool as hell but at endgame he’s kind of bad. He is easily outclassed by Rakam. It’s hard to keep his damage uptime when bosses move around and do a lot of attacking. This game definitely favors the burst units
I would definitely use him though if I didn’t need to break my finger spamming attack at Mach 2
That was my experience when using Gran/Djeeta. It gets annoying if bosses keeps zipping around. I unlocked Charlotta as my first and never looked back (coz she has two gap closers, one being built to her base kit)
