Oh, how I enjoyed listening and watching the Taiko drummers. Thanks for filming it. And with the photos you captured the faces, postures and gestures of the children who were very proud and focused on what they were doing. Very nice!
@@jamesford_jp It's nice to see that despite all the discipline that the children have to put into this group performance, they also have fun with it. Because learning or mastering the art of Taiko drumming - as I now notice through observation - definitely requires a high level of strength, coordination and fine motor skills.
Technically, manual focus is faster and more accurate than AF if you're using zone focusing ;) I am a huge advocate for manual focus lenses, they're great to use and make you think more about your shot, the composition and the framing more than the spray and pray blazing fast shutter bursts and AF has engrained in most photographers. Great video as always James!
Oh my god, that kid on the left at 10:11 is absolutely precious. The real star of the show!
Oh I know! I’m honestly impressed with how well she played because I certainly didn’t have the coordination to do that at Kindergarten age!

I’m glad you enjoyed it! I was almost about to leave until I saw the group setting up for the performance, and I’m glad I stayed!

Absolutely. I certainly didn’t have that discipline at that age (some of the kids were kindergarteners), so it was very impressive to watch 😄
Very cool glimpse into the festival!
Glad you enjoyed it! And thanks!
