I was there. The whole building was shaking. Everyone was out of their bodies and no time for a guess bump.
Some people officially went crazy and could not control themselves.
At is finale, the clear instrument one would hear was the timps played by Emmett Mcdonald, sitting to the far left end. It was very moving.
I wish you were there too.

This hand drum is amazing! It's universal! Even Woods Cree tribe uses these but with little vibrating bones on a string in the back. In Ireland/Scotland it is called a Bodhran but has no vibrating bits in the back.

To those who voicing wrong opinion on Sufis.
Firstly these are Iranian musicians performing, they are not really Sufis.
Secondly all Iranians are to some extent Sufi, It also fits with Zoroastrianism and Mithraism.
This predates Islam.

Even if so, it does not mean Sufism is related to Zoroastrianism. Manichean is in essence different with Zoroastrianism. Sufism may have got some elements of Manichean, but Manichean is not Zoroastrianism.
