I know this is true for ants (they leave their normal activities and climb upwards). I would guess spiders, as well. Since spores have to travel by air, the higher the infected climb before "blooming," the greater distance the spores can travel.
One of the best creators on youtube. Genuinely cares about viewers. On todays talk subject, I'd say it depends on the situation. I personally cannot see someone the same after they wrong me and its hard to forgive. I think tolerance is necessary, and forgiveness as well; as issues are bound to arise even with family or loved ones, but when you get screwed over seriously by someone else I think its important to be able to draw a line and cut your losses. Big fan of the content, keep up the great work!
Funny that you brought up conflict/confrontation avoidance. I've recently had this sort of come to a head with a good friend of mine. I won't get into the details but they are very conflict avoidant and because of that they have been allowing plans and commitments to fall through with me because of their partner(? - it's complicated). I'm also conflict avoidant, however I try hard to know when things need to be talked about. It's not easy and may seem like you're disturbing the peace, but in reality it's about resolving the conflict and preserving the relationship. All relationships take work and sometimes that's having hard conversations. My friend and I were able to have that conversation and are doing better. Definitely worth it.
To answer your question about why infected people feel the urge to travel somewhere high: The infection is likely based on cordyceps fungus, just like The Last of Us franchise is. Many parasites/infections that alter the host behavior of invertebrates often encourage the host to travel to a high place and spread the spores. Either so the wind can carry the spores and infect the same species or for a larger predator to consume the intermediate host and infect a different species. Cordyceps does the former with ants and other organisms. Additional reassuring fun fact! there's no known cordyceps that can infect vertebrates (ie: like us humans). For mammals specifically, our body temperature evolved to be warm enough for killing off most fungal pathogens. Bc of all that I thought it was a cool worldbuilding detail that the spores were specifically quite heat tolerant. Context: I'm a bio student, so I'm super into entomology and zoology stuff. I saw some other person mention this answer but wanted to elaborate a bit more.
@@dragonguardianqueen if infecting humans actually gave the fungus hive mind both their intellect and emotions, would that make it more dangerous or less dangerous?

The agent was a nice addition to a horror story. Always forgetting something. It's funny and brightening the mood in a way. I loved it! Great job BigGaming64. Thank you for this experience.
Ive tried to avoid confrontation for a bit and when I feel ive been wronged i usually try to forgive and forget, but after a while i think ive more so bottled emotions up rather than actually made peace with myself. I also think in my experience this has also lead to me being a bit too passive and avoid solving problems with others and myself. Obviously I dont know what your experience with this has been, if avoiding confrontation has helped you be more peaceful then I think thats awsome. Regardless tho, thank you for making these videos, despite being a horror channel these videos are really calming oddly and remind me of watching lets plays from when i was younger. Thank you so much
I am at 24:28 and you should have told her to lock herself in the bathroom!!!! The authorities said they will NOT send anyone until the storm is over!! I think you condemned her. Her locking herself with something useful was the better option…
It's not the fact she locked herself with something useful, it's the fact that she had a lock this time. The first time she got lucky, she said it basically destroyed her lock, so by having her call the cops, she's defenseless once the thing breaks in. So by you calling the cops, she can use that time to hide, so that the cops could clear out the infected monster
Personally forgiveness is a big thing for me. If someone genuinely asks for it I don't think it should be denied. But if someone is hurting you and you just let it slide because "it's easier that way" then you might have some things to think on. Anyway. W vid. love your stuff man.
im really glad you have that intro. I have Autism paired with a few issues that stem from me not knowing how to express emotions properly. The beginning of your videos, when I am in the right place always make my night better and make me feel like I want to go on. Sadly, im not always in that space so it can make me very sad to hear, feeling like I missed out on hearing it from someone I /needed/ that support from. (parents, peers, yada yada) So being able to skip when I just cant hear it is nice for me, and I always go back to have what you had to say later. So thank you for something you maybe never thought about!
Talking abt the beginning: I get how you feel, its hard to face things scary, especially confrontation. If you avoid confrontation, and just forgive and forget, you could bottle up some feelings you might have. The best thing you can do is talk through the situation with someone you trust. I hope this helps, dont forget your worth it and your feelings are valid
Hey, just letting you know they’re planning on making a sequel for this game. It’s gonna be a top down horror game. It’ll be called mycopsychosys: project Jupiter
I am also conflict avoidant! I think it isn't a bad thing inherently, but it comes with its own troubles to be careful of. There are a lot of people who view inability to be confrontational as a weakness that they can take advantage of. In that way, they feel more comfortable traversing boundaries because they see no outward punishment for it. I think when people are conflict averse, they have to be really in tune with themselves and how others treat them to be sure they don't have that happen, and find ways to comfortably express when you feel your boundaries have been crossed when that happens. Anyways, thanks for reading! Glad to see another BigG video as always :D
I was immediately suspicious that the spores were actually just water due to it being 4 microns (water is 5) and a temperature of 100 Celsius being able to ‘kill’ them.
I must say, I love the little talks at the beginning, I have self validation issues and really rely on other people for a lot of things, and I really can relate to talk today.
I’m a person who scares very easily, so horror games and movies aren’t for me. But whenever you’re in the video, it gives a nice calming vibe, like a friend experiencing it with me. You’re the reason I’ve started to get out of my comfort zone and try more things. Thanks big ❤
Hi!! Im a huge fan and was going to tell you thank you for all the emotional support in the beginning of every video. Recently schools been hard and I feel very stressed all the time but ive been better recently and I feel that the supportive quotes help me get through the day. Thank you
Your talk about forgiveness is good and to be honest that's always a good choice. Keep in mind that forgiveness isn't reconciliation nor is it letting some one keep on hurting you and being submissive, It's simply the act of having no negative emotions towards someone for what they did and is one of the first steps toward peace. Although processing what happened is important too and whether you should keep on going as the way before or distancing yourself.
What you said in the beginning - I also have that trait. It backfired because when somebody hurt me in some way, they apologized (or didn't). Its probably because I made an impression that I don't get hurt and I don't need apologies, because I always let it go. (I am not from a english speaking language so sorry for mistakes)
Great attention to detail is that you can actually tell that Hugo's not infected when you first meet him. The infected want to get higher, but he broke in through the basement. Onna, on the other hand, broke in through the window when infected.
I always stand up for myself and others! I love teaching people how to defend themselves! I'm a bully fighter and even though I don't like confrontation, no one has the right to abuse others! Forget treating others the way you want to be treated, I treat others the way they treat me. If you can dish it, you can take it!
If im oh so correct (WHAT IM PROBABLY NOT) 2:18 don't limes have a certain chemical that actually helps in the growth of fungi in the human body? I mean, we know the infected are smart so it does make sense.

hey biggamers, hey bg! I actually have something to comment on todays talk. I'm 60/40 on confrontation (depending on the situation),but I had a "friend" who wronged me a lot during our "friendship". every time I confronted her,she didn't feel guilty,so I eventually let it go. but taking this hurt every time felt like I was betraying myself. last year,I finally went nc for good. I don't know what kind of situation you're trying to avoid confrontation in,but if you feel wronged - it's good to confront the issue.
Hello, Big Gaming! That intro hit me really hard. I just had to flee with my cat from my abusive boyfriend who destroyed my whole apartment. I so wish I could just forgive and forget and things will be good again but I don't think that would be good. Thank you very much for all you do, you are the light in all this darkness.

For me, the most unsettling theme in horror is the loss of one's own identity - possession, destruction of the self. Watching all of your options for where to hide disappear when you get infected was pretty awesome. And also terrifying.
Hey I just wanted to say I’ve never seen a horror youtuber like you. even though I’ve watched different youtubers for years also pumpkin and your other cat are really cute can you show them more often during your videos?
That is the funniest thumbnail you've ever created. the eyebrows do it for me. it is hillarious and... *another word for funny.* The eyebrows are the funny part, also your "I work on an oil rig inside of a living planet" thumbnail is a good runner up
Whenever I see BG upload, I just feel happy. Idk how to explain it. Ig I’m just happy that a RUclipsr actually knows how important mental health is. Keep up the great work BG. :D
I think the most important process is to learn what you have been through and improve. It is good to keep things to peace ASAP, but don't forget what we learn and understand is also important too.
Man, I really like the ending's in this game, the one i like the most is definitely the one where you go to a HIGH place, It makes me feel BEAUTIFUL. Anyway, Nice video.
Today’s BG intro lesson really resonated- I think I’ll still forgive easily no matter how hard I try! I find saying to myself ‘They lost my trust.’ Really helps to let go and interact with them without holding anger that could harm your mental health :) (But all of this is just me!)
To answer your question, it depends on the situation and the person tbh. If it's my fiancé, friends, etc, I like to talk things out so that we can get to an understanding, fix what needs to be changed, and move forward if possible. I normally don't like to let things slide, but if it's a stranger or whatever, I usually laugh (my coping mechanism) and move on because I don't take the nasty things they say or do to heart (depending on what they say or do of course). As for my mom, we no longer speak because of it. I used to let things slide because she'd guilt trip me if I'd confront her about how she was hurting me. I finally confronted her regardless of her trying to put all the blame on me for her horrible behavior. I let her have it and she refused to acknowledge her bs. She couldn't communicate with me in a healthy way, so we couldn't come to an understanding and move forward. It all depends, my friend.
To easily forgive and forget can be ok for small simple disagreements. Also forgiveness is always a good thing. if someone is breaking your boundaries you need to stick to those boundaries and face the confrontation head on . This might sound silly but sometimes you have to be like an earth bender take your stance and don’t let ppl try to knock you down specially if it’s an important like your boundaries. Sometimes need to think like an air bender it’s not worth the energy over smoothing small so it’s sometimes better to avoid the confrontation . Like water bender try to accept the flow of change in confrontation and let your emotions flow through in the right way sometimes. like a faire bender take great passion in your boundaries and believes in conversation. Sometimes try to think in a different state of mind . Anyway that’s my advice might sound silly but it might help. I love your videos
One question, have you played Pressure (from Roblox) before? Just asking because you made a short about it but i can't find any videos of you playing the game, and i would love to watch that.

I love your videos or as you call them at times "adventures". Thank you BigGaming for this community and thank you to all of you who are also taking a part of it.
Also, i can someone tell me if there are other fungi related horror videos? (Apart from the one which was like the little red hood inspired)
I honestly think it’s nice that you don’t have THAT many subscribers, it’s wholesome how me you and 622k other people are our own little community! I love your videos and with these intros I really feel like you are my actual friend, If you are going through tough times ALWAYS remember that you have us subscribers who are glad to help you out. Keep up the good work man! Love ya!
Hiya
Hey BG your motivational speeches always makes me feel better
Is it just me, or does this game look like "Do Not Take This Cat Home" to an extent?
i havent watched one of your videos in so long. ive missed this a lot since you always helped me feel better. thank you so much.
And we enjoy you and your vids, bud. Long, healthy life to you and to this community 🙏🏻
I always watch this guy when im sad. He always cheers me up. Thank you
Thanks, your narrating is really good! It makes it sound like it’s real!
Bg literally feels like a dad. He always is making me laugh, and i always enjoy watching his videos. ❤
That is the funniest thumbnail you've ever created. the eyebrows do it for me. it is hillarious and... *another word for funny.* The eyebrows are the funny part, also your "I work on an oil rig inside of a living planet" thumbnail is a good runner up
46:13 scp foundation?

The funny side eyes were hilarious. 😂
I like box breathing personally which is a variation of what you recommended!
This is so fun. Love the art style.
Your channel is very comforting :)
27:20 bro got really mad when he says he wants his dog instead of his cat😭😭😭
Hey there! Thank you so much for playing our little game! We're actually developing part 2 at the moment!
Whenever I see BG upload, I just feel happy. Idk how to explain it. Ig I’m just happy that a RUclipsr actually knows how important mental health is. Keep up the great work BG. :D
this is such a beautiful game, i think I'm gonna play it for myself! thank you, bg for introducing me to a bunch of new games :)
This is from the same creator as “do not take this cat home”
24:07 bruh this guy the website said that nobody is coming until the storm is gone 24:26 NO
You should play Psychopomp if you already haven't
Great video man loved it can't wait for more ❤
I think the most important process is to learn what you have been through and improve. It is good to keep things to peace ASAP, but don't forget what we learn and understand is also important too.
Man, I really like the ending's in this game, the one i like the most is definitely the one where you go to a HIGH place, It makes me feel BEAUTIFUL. Anyway, Nice video.
BigGaming got da Aura 🔥💀
omg your video made it to 3k likes! congrats big g! i enjoyed the Storytime you've given me today! :D
14:03 funniest face big has ever made
Today’s BG intro lesson really resonated- I think I’ll still forgive easily no matter how hard I try! I find saying to myself ‘They lost my trust.’ Really helps to let go and interact with them without holding anger that could harm your mental health :)
(But all of this is just me!)
14:10 Goofy 😂😂😂
I love your videos ❤❤❤
I love when you play visual novels your voice always fits in perfectly 😄
Currently sick and can't sleep
But your videos always make me feel better
I love your videos
thank you for posting videos you are really helping me get through a tough time
One question, have you played Pressure (from Roblox) before? Just asking because you made a short about it but i can't find any videos of you playing the game, and i would love to watch that.
No offense to the Roblox kids but the games on that are boring and not exactly scary.
hey im just letting you know i have been being extremley depressed recently and your videos chear me up, keep uploading
the only reason that he got the first ending is because he told Onna to call the cops, not isolating herself.
Dude just gotta say I love your channel and your content you have a fun affable sort of personality and a great way of making videos
