BEAUTIFUL...pages & tutorial!! 💙💙💙 Do hope sweet Barney is better!? Looking forward to more drawing, painting, & journaling like this...Helen you're amazing!!! ❤🤗🐶
Helen: these two pages are so exciting, fun , and restful. While you were drawing your larger flower, I got an idea for my own flower based on your design. I’m getting ready to do a new project and my design might just work. Now, that’s inspiration! Thank you. Carol from California
Your #2 book arrived today. Could hardly put it down to eat dinner & desert. Really enjoyed checking out each page. Love all the idea lists for journaling.
This is so lovely. Your video's are always so inspiring. Thank you very much for sharing and I do hope poor Barney is feeling better now. (And I hope you've gotten some rest.)
Thx Helen. Such a good tutorial. I draw the flowers on a rolodex card. Very tiny card not so intimidating. I’ m learning to draw. Makes me feel so good. Greetz from Holland.
Love this!! Reminds me of “there’s beauty in simplicity”. I just ordered your first book. Can’t wait to get it! I just love your videos they’re very soothing and you teach so well. Thank you!
I hope your little man is getting better. Our Barney is nearly 15 and had several vets visits lately. It's a hard time as furparents when they can't tell you what's wrong. Thanks for this beautiful pageand relaxing video. Kia kaha. Stay strong.
@@HelenColebrook Thanks Helen, he's okay. Old age comes to us all unfortunately. He likes his pain meds and the soft diet he has been put on. One day at a time.
I just got your book yesterday, “Journal with a Purpose.” I love it!! Now I need to order the other one! I’m actually making little Zines for fun right now, so your book will work great for those.
Absolutely loved this Helen! I drew and painted alongside you! Thank you for always inspiring me and being such a brilliant friend! I'll be sharing it over on Instagram 😍
Hi Helen, that was a lovely tutorial and I would love to see more, it felt very achievable. The tattered leaves on the page before were amazing too, they remind me of the Tim Holtz dies (but much better) have you done a tutorial for that page please? TIA
A beautiful video and very relaxing. Can’t wait to give this a go tomorrow. I was just wondering…is there a reason why the flowers are in 3’s? Hope Barney is better soon and that you sleep better tonight.
Thank you so much Tanya, I’m really happy you enjoyed it 🥰 Barney is doing loads better now thank you. Using odd numbers of designs helps to draw your eye around the page, but it’s definitely not essential 💕
Hi Helen, thank you for this beautiful and inspiring tutorial. In the beginning you mention that the journal is made with thick paper. Would you know the grams? Could imagine that it might be 120g. Thanks, Andrea
Thank you so much Andrea, I’m really happy you enjoyed it. I think it is 120gsm. It doesn’t say inside, but I would say that feels about right for the thickness 🥰💕
