I bought a compass solely because it looks like the grand Cherokee and I don’t need anything that big. I enjoyed the Renegade too especially when you could take the tops off. Doesn’t look like you can do that anymore
For me it's two things I dislike for the compass. 9th gear in the auto rarely is used as 8th keeps you at the speed cruise is set and once in 9th it will begin to slow down. (tested, manual shifting) The engine lacks power. It is great in a mild offroad setting (obviously it's not a wrangler etc.) and great in snow as well. With a different powertrain I think it could be a lot better but I still like it after 3 years.
No Jeeps should be a front-wheel drive front wheel drive are not worth anything my Jeep Wrangler has way more torque and horse and gets the same gas mileage are better
Neither! Compass is Fiat junk! Rubber band transmission fails! The transmission also won’t function when the sensor on the rear wheel doesn’t work properly. Give me the Jeep Cherokee Sport with the solid front axle and a solid transmission with the 4x4 shifter on the floor. And the unstoppable inline 6 engine. I’m tired of the junk that is made these days!!!!

i own a 2019 Renegade Sport 4x4. Only 3 gripes: gas mileage poor, transmission is questionable, trunk space lacking.
