When I lived up in the mountains it was cold and my little 2 lb Chihuahua would shiver and constantly snuggling up to myself or my roommate. So I bought her a sweater, which she hated. It had soft stretchy cloth bands that hooked behind the rear legs to prevent the sweater from riding up, so she couldn't back out of it. Being the resourceful (devious) little dog that she was, she started teasing the cat by getting in front of him and then scooting away, enticing the cat to start trying to grab her. Once the cat got a hold of her by the sweater, she would wriggle out of it through the neck. I wish I had that on video.
Ian Pacis My cousin has a chihuahua that is so cute it lets you carry it and sits in your lap whenever you watch tv or are talking and it rarely barks but my dad got chased/attacked by a chihuahua when he was running once so it depends on the dog.
I have had Chichi's...If That baby falls on its head off of a bed it can cause brain damage and the results could be death or permanet seizures or blindness etc.. Be safe and put him on the floor. He/she is adorable but delicate
So cute, hug him and give him kisses all the time. My Roxie to your left loved to back talk too.I miss her so much. She died of liver cancer on Valentine's Day 2021. I was able to hold her and look into her eyes as she passed away.

Dogs of all shapes and sizes and they all get along fine, but the undisputed alpha of the lot is my sister's little elderly female Chihuahua! 😂 It's so funny watching that interaction. If she gets a toy or a treat, or a stick she likes, she starts curling her lip and snarling, and that fur stands up on her back, and all the other dogs stand back in alarm! Including the rotty mix, and the pitbull! 😂😂
Seriously, Patty, we would all absolutely LOVE an update on this little darling. As a seasoned dog mom, I know that they are rarely as incredibly cute as adults like they were as pups, but we would still love to see Sugar now. Best to you and yours!
