This act is not an act of respect, but a disrespect to the basketball’s spirit.
Chinese government put billion dollar on the women basketball. These chinese players are also professional players because they don't have other jobs. All their jobs are basketball.

In the case of the US team with much higher physical fitness and personal ability, the US's wolf-like defense makes it difficult for China to organize an attack. Fortunately, the defense of the Chinese team is also good, which makes the Chinese team the team that has lost the least to the United States.
well put, all china needs is a few players that can get their own shot to be more competitive, when plays break down you must be able to give the ball to someone and say get us a bucket

If China's best player Li meng could play, the gap probably will be 10 points smaller but would still lose. China need to continue this trend and improve WCBA more to produce more players. Beating US team one time is not enough, China will need a large solid base to really reach the US level.
