bearing shaft : 13mm dia. 1000mm long 2ea.
shaft support : 13mm 4ea.
linear bush : 13mm 4ea.
I'm going to show you how to use and applications in the next video.
This fence is a concept one, not a final one. please don't try to make.
What for you need such a thing?
Nice build. Looking forward to seeing the next video for application and use.
Thanks for watching sir. Be healthy always.
Nice work. allways so clean and effortless. One suggestion: try loosening all the bearing block bolts and then tighten them again by hand, skipping around like you would with a tire. Snug, firm, tight. I think she will ride a lot smoother
Ingénieux bravo., vivement la suite à bientôt salut Jeannot 😉🛠
Thanks for watching sir.
Looks great will have to wait until next video to see what/how you use it take care 😀👍
Thanks for watching sir.
09:20 Excellent job. *Minor* correction at the end of the video: "Please stay *tuned* ". Thumbs up.
Thanks for your corrections sir.
Woodworking diary. Cool stuff you build.
Amazing J. I really feel like you may invent something that changes the way many wood workers do this hobby and trade. Great video as well...as always.
Thanks for watching friend. Take care.
Well done J! Looking forward to part 2 of this video..... 👍👍
Thanks for watching sir.
Excellent job bro
Thanks for watching sir.
Very nice jig, well done!
If you plan to make that jig, add locktite to your material list. Use it on all setscrews and bolts. The last thing you want is a flying piece of hardware :)
If this is a concept when will the final version be made?
nice sliding fence..i will build one thank you for share..
Thanks for watching sir.
You have given so many Jig ideas and that they are makeable it's Great 👍 to have such a Wood Craftsman as your UTube Channel. 👍👍👍👍👍
Thanks for your encouraging comments sir.
Great invention and extremely well made videos, could you put an Amazon link for products you have used. Very well done Karel Polman New Zealand
Sorry I brought them at a local shop for bearings. Thanks for watching sir.
And what exactly is the benefit?
Awesome idea.
Thanks for watching sir.
Thanks for watching sir.
As always very entertaining and professional approach but I don’t see the advantage over what you had before? It does the same task but only in a different way.
Sorry about that.
Thanks for watching sir.
Looking forward to your next one
Thanks for watching sir.
Thanks for watching sir.
English comments please
There is subscription at the last seconds of the video: "I'm showing how to use and application (?? mabe = apply or install ? ) in the next video. Please stay tuned".
What does this mean ?
Can we have English comments on ytube please
I like it. Well done and thank you for sharing your excellent workmanship and video. 👍
Thanks for watching sir.
Excellent👍
Thanks for watching sir.
Excelente trabajo. 👍🙂
Thanks for watching sir.
Do you have a list of parts and where to purchase them, great idea and video, thanks
Two 12mm dia shaft rods
Four linear bearings
Four supports
I bought them at a bearing shop near my home.
Thanks for watching sir.
Thank you very much for the information.
Excellent work, man! Really well done! 😃
Stay safe there with your family! 🖖😊
Thanks for watching sir.
What is that measuring tool you used? I'd like to get one but don't know what it's called.
Sorry I don't know the tool name in English.
Thanks for watching sir.
I'm curious what its runout would read from one end to the other, with a dial indicator ?
I think your on to something... Good Job. You've earned yourself a new subscriber !
I checked parallel of two shafts.
Thanks for watching sir.
@@j-woodworking9573 i think he meant to the blade. nice work!
@Chooper @victor hopper As J-Woodworking says, he measured the distance between the parallel rails. If the error in this is low, the distance of each rail from the plywood to which they are fixed should be the same along the length of the rails, within the tolerances of the plywood thickness, the diameter of the rails and the rail mounting fixtures. Since the device is attached to the tablesaw fence, the only additional errors would arise from the standard errors between fence, blade and table, which I expect to be low.
@@arthurcrosby5755 I wasn't curious whether or not the guide rods were parallel. I'm interested in how much deflection there is from end to end.
@@jason4547 I know that you asked about the measured deflection from end to end. My explanation describes how the measured deflection end to end should be no (or little) more than that of the table, fence and blade without the additional sliding fence. If the plywood used for the sliding fence is the same thickness at each end; and the rod mounting pillars are identical within or better than the tolerances of the table and existing fence; and assuming the roundness of the rods is better than these tolerances; because the rods are parallel the error end to end will be within the error end to end of the originally fitted fence from the blade. I believe that measurement of the end to end variation for the fence and blade compared with the sliding fence would bear this out. I hope you get it. Sorry I can't explain it any clearer.
Do you have links for where you got the parts for this?
I got them at a local shop nearby my home.
Thanks for watching sir.
@@j-woodworking9573 Ok then how about a manufacturer then so I can find them.
2:13 - Try drilling the large hole FIRST, you then have a center point to drill the smaller hole. Takes the guesswork out of finding center.
Otherwise interesting project.
Tuyệt vời 👍👍
Thanks for watching sir.
Mantap
Thanks for watching sir.
Muito top 👊👊👊👊👊🇧🇷👍💯
Thanks for watching sir.
I see most of the comments on here say that's a good idea. I'm wondering if you have made some wooden wheels for your car too because that would be as useful as this idea.
To my future husband, I've been waiting for you for nearly 20 years, where are you, I don't want to wait any longer.
Thanks for watching sir.
ок. fine/ but what reason//how use it//
va bene //ma сhe lavoro
sorry for my esperanto
This variant is not rigid enough it’s better to use rails (from CNC constructions)
Before I made it I anticipated that. This fence is concept one. There will be problems. And I keep solving them. Through the process I'll make progress. Sorry sir.
Thanks for watching sir.
👍👍👍
Thanks for watching sir.
Bravo
Thanks for watching sir.
