It would be faster to jump on the bottom block of the L platform to the checkpoint at 0:04. It doesnt actually make it to the platform but it hits the checkpoint so you can restart. I dont think thats possible tho rn with ybot but yea

@@alexplaysgd respawning would be slower anyways due to the time it takes to fall down the loss of momentum and the respawn time
@@aerialz7175using an external macro you could pause and hit replay immedietaly after getting the checkpoint but like he said it wouldn't work at all with ybot
He even ignored the fixed hitbox spikes and landed on a block

for the first checkpoint cant you jump up to it from the flatspike block and just respawn to save time over jumping to the left first ?
ybot doesnt support dying/respawning during runs as it counts that as a full fail

0:18 would it not be possible to land on the right of that fixed spike, jump over to the block with the 3 spikes on it and jump between the tiny gap?
That gap is too small to jump through (because you can't even fit there, let alone move in an arc)

@@exylophone1 Well, a mini icon actually can fit between two spikes pointing at eachother, there's exactly enough space for it, but that will still kill it because the gap has to be strictly greater than the icon's size

You can save a little extra time if you skip the last jump at 0:04 just before cp1 and respawn as soon as you hit cp1
