Jeff was a bonafide star. We saw him job as a Teen to become a main eventer. His merch sales were topping Cena, HBK, Taker Etc. They got it right.
I never thought I would owe the guy who starred in, "I Know What You Did Last Summer" (Freddie Prince Jr.) a thank you for helping my Superman as a young teen win the title of "World Champion"... Thank you, Freddie from every Jeff Hardy fan.

Thank you, Freddie. This was big for Jeff, but will always remain a huge inspiration for all of us who were kids at the time and wanted our hero to win. Jeff standing on that platform with the rightly-earned title is one of the biggest inspirational scenes of my life. So glad this happened.

I remember being in High School in 2009 and hoping that I could convince my mom to order the PPV of WWE Armageddon 2009 because I really wanted to watch the Triple Threat match between Edge vs Triple H vs Jeff Hardy for the WWE Championship.
the fact that I couldn't was heart breaking, but finding out the next day in school was probably the highlight of my day when a friend showed me a newspaper clipping of the results of the show cause I also couldn't wait to watch that week's episode of Smackdown! So I humbly appreciate FPJ for that storyline! 😄

Jeff Hardy is one of the most over talents of all time. Plain and simple. Even when he just left, he was getting some if the biggest pops despite how shitty his booking was. Something about him fans just gravitate too

I knew Freddie wrote for the WWE but didn’t know he wrote probably the most important wrestling storyline for me as a kid lol.
As a 10 year old watching Jeff Hardy finally winning the WWE Championship meant a lot especially in my generation no matter the downfall you can still get back up and win it all. I gotta thank Freddie Price Jr. for writing that story for Jeff even with the trouble situations he’s on the news he made if memorable and still remembering it to this day.

You don't understand Jeff hardy had us in a chokehold during 2008 because every championship match we sitting on the edge of our seat waiting for him to win the wwe championship but he was always one second away. Armageddon 2008 was a great way to end his 2008 wwe championship chase all the way from royal rumble of that year to the end.
Can honestly say that Jeff Hardy winning the WWE championship is my fondest moment in wrestling.
I thank this man from all my heart for giving us the best championship victory of all time

I personally have never been a fan of the idea of tv writers in wrestling but i think having it be a more collaborative talking points approach instead of handing someone a script and telling them to memorize it is a much better way to go about it.

Dude, Freddie made a bajillion Jeff Hardy fans' dreams come true, myself included. Sure, Jeff kinda did himself in. But , we had our moment. Jeff , horrible mic skills and all, got to flip the bird to everyone. Prime Jeff Hardy was one of the toughest, most beautiful workers in wrestling. You could never call him ' the best wrestler', because he was so outside of the box that he was his own category. And that's not harping on him. RVD was very similar in that we'd never seen anything like it. Purists hated them, underdogs LOVED them. I still root for Jeff as a person, and wish I could slap him around to knock some sense into him. We coulda had so much more. Hell, we still might. But the clock is ticking, and if he never figures that out, we can still say we got to see our hero as Champion of the World.
If Jeff or anyone he knows ever sees this: I'd rather see Jeff in a Hall of Fame Speech than a fk'n Dark Side of the Ring episode. That is not hyperbole, and please don't dismiss it as such. Thank you Jeff, and thank you Freddie.
