- Justis Pitt-Goodson, 26, is a proud entrepreneur who got his start making clothing in eighth grade. A tutor gave him a sewing machine, and he began creating bow ties for himself and his friends. He attended Rutgers University in New Jersey for two years before dropping out to focus on fashion. With the help of high school classmates, Kwaku Agyemang and Taha Shimou, Justis officially launched BrownMill Company in Newark in 2016, and five years later it was bringing in about $327,000 in sales.

I Dropped Out Of College To Grow My Side Hustle - Now It Brings In $327,000
I have more respect for entrepreneurs like Justis who make something of themselves that isn't relying on making video courses on how to sell video courses.
Yup, there's those that actually make money in a profession , then there are those that failed and sell courses instead. I'm sure there are a few that actually made it before deciding to start selling courses since it's such a good passive income, but the reality is most sell courses with no proven track record.
Great point.
I am not a fan of folks who sell courses. There is something about them that doesn't sit right with me.
I am all in on those who build real stuff. They share their experience.
My mom works in Newark and remembers seeing you out with your bow ties as a kid. Big congrats on all your success! So inspiring to see
This is so nice and inspiring to watch. I can't believe y'all made Masego's merch 😍😍 On another note, it's really heartwarming seeing successful black-owned businesses that are very active in improving the communities they reside in or are adjacent to. Whilst they understand the power of the black dollar, it's nice to see that they approach their entrepreneurial practices from a people-first, community-orientated, and empathetic, compassionate lens. Cheers to all you have accomplished and all the growth and continued impact yet to come!
This is amazing and I love that he's putting money back into the community. I wish him much success.
Hardworking, young men!! 👏🏽👏🏽
Love this!! ❤ Keep Building family!!!!!💪🏾💪🏾
This was a great segment! My biggest takeaway from Justis in this message is “standardize your mornings.” 🙏🏾 Thank you for sharing his story and allowing Justis to be a source of inspiration to aspiring entrepreneurs! #BeKind
The term "dropping out of college" does not apply to people equally to everybody. It's more so a term that describes those who fail out or leave before that happens.
Wow! This video just gave me life. I designed and sold face masks at the onset of COVID. I recently launched my Bow Ties business as my side hustle. This just gave me confirmation to level up and produce more Bow Ties ASAP!. Wishing your business much continued Success! #ONWARDS #WakandaForever ❤❤
I like what he said. Growing too big can risk quality. Thats what a lot companies should understand

Smart man. Most crucial thing he said... College is a RESOURCE. Use it as one or you will get used and abused financially.

Positively coming out the Bricks....Love It.
I’m proud of the courage of the younger generation to jump into entrepreneurship; sitting here wondering if I can jump in at age 34 now…

Despite the economic downturn,I'm so happy☺️. I have been earning $ 60,000 returns from my $10,000 investment every 14days.
This must be an investment with Mrs Linda Raschke
OMGGG 😲 wait a sec, you know Mrs Linda Raschke too, so amazing seeing others trade with the same woman I trade with, she have been a blessing to my life 🥰
Since I started my investment of $7,000 with Mrs Linda , I am now having $29,450 in my portfolio.
my portfolio has been going down the drain while I try trading myself 😞, I just don't know what I did wrong, please how can someone get to speak with Mrs Linda Raschke?
Please how much Is OK for a start?.. so I can know if I can do this, someone should give me an answer

First one here whoop!
🤣 👏🏾
🔥🔥🔥👍….
Sales is not profit what is your net on the 300k?
It’s not a side hustle if it’s a job… stop making something that takes a lot of effort and time seem like a “hobby”
THE SUBSCRIPTION MODEL IS VERY CLEVER💯MONEY UP FRONT AND MERCHANDISE ON THE BACK END✌🏿❤🇨🇦JUST NOT UNDERSTANDING WHY HIS COLLEGE WAS PAID FOR🙏🏿
Net profit?
Why do young, successful men like this not marry their baby mamas? Why have kids if you’re not going to create a solid family environment for them?
his brand is today's FUBU
No
@@NoSauceBoss-sm6zx it's more for us by us than anything fubu made
Thanks for this wonderful video..I have incurred so much losses trading on my own....I trade well on demo but I think the real market is manipulated.... Can anyone help me out or at least tell me what I'm doing wrong?
👋👍👍👏👏✌️!!
Cool business, but that Juneteenth stuff is lame.
This will last less than 5 years
I second that motion, he definitely should have finished college!!!
You never know. Someone could buy the company. Yeah, he should finish his degree. Try Target as a partner.
Bad move
I agree!!!
Good video, thanks 👍🏻 [USERNAME]
