ok, hear me out: Bug missions, Spear + Emancipator. The spear can 1 shot a bile if it faces your way, you can make it face your way with a quick warning shot and even if it doesn't fully die from one shot to its forehead the exo will make short work of it. It's not meta but it's really fun. If you have trouble with chargers, just remember they cant 180 turn. Dodge sideways into them, 2 sec sprint with light, turn around and give them a headshot with the spear. The build is extrem fun. Not meta but very fun to play and since this patch the Spear has almost fully been fixed.
recently one of the CM's said on discord that they want to but mech take up a lot of resources in gameplay having too many would create problems. They are working on the issue! Sooooo many in the future you can do it without needing to do that weird exploit/bug!
Weird how they put an odd # of rounds in the thing that has duel autocannons on both arms. That's 37.5 rounds per gun on 1 arm....someone, please expian.
I'm loving the new mech, because of 2 things. First HP/armor amount is amazin, Emancibot can resist even chargers attack. And second I love that I can play Mecha style now, because I can ask for Emancipator, then for Patriot and by the time Patriot is out of ammo I can ask for Emancibot again. I'm 100% loving this gameplay.
Also idk if is trully a thing, but Shield Backpack + Exosuit is a combo right? because the Shield kinda can absorb some dmg too, but im not sure if it's true.
@@HamkkeTogether for the shield backpack+ mech combo It only protects the upper part of the cockpit Great for fighting bots that are in front and above you
It's definitely not unusable, it just feels like I have to try too hard to make it useful. Add on top of that limited uses, bugs, and frustrating features and it becomes a pretty forgettable stratagem. Still better than the rocket mech though
Yah the thing is your gonna have issues having that coordination in random lobbys, can’t tell you how many times I was annoyed cause I got left with a titan on my mech and no one is there to use AT on it. I think it’s fine if the emancipator isn’t good for titans but the rockets on the 45 patriot should be more consistent at killing chargers and BT
Durable damage only matters against high-armor enemies. The Emancipator is great against medium and light enemies - it can shoot the medium enemies and stomp the light ones. It can close bug holes, it can fire while moving backwards at full speed. And if you really have to, you can kill a heavy enemy with it using direct fire, which the handheld autocannon is incapable of.
@@Kirbyoto2098 I swear people want the mech to be perfection with no weaknesses and capable of beating every enemy solo. It's like a tank in real life, easily beaten without support.
@@thedude925 A tank needs support, but it can take on heavy targets, the mech doest do that, it just increases your hitbox, even troops are stronger than it., heck, remove the mech and the isnt a difference.
Yeah the mech is not great. It's fine vs bugs but if you are a random and see someone grab the mech grab a spear or recoilless and follow it until they die your job is now to take care of the heavy units.
Ofc its good when it is free. 2 callins in with 10 min cooldown makes it bad. For reference in that time you can call in almost 4 (upgraded) AC sentries which together have almost as much ammo as the mech. The Mech gets 0.25 shots for each second of cooldown, whilst AC sentry gets 0.22 . And of course sentry shots are way stronger , you can still use your own weapons and lastly it has UNLIMITED uses. The mech at the very least needs more ammo or less callin restrictions.
Cmon it does not slap. It suffers from the usual shit of having USSR gun depression, issues with aiming anywhere further because of lack of well zoom of any sort and still very fragile.
I don't use the mechs because they're too slow. Tried out the new Emancipator mech when it was a free strat on a duo Helldive airbase. Rekt a large drop, mowed down Hulks, Heavy Devs, Rocket Devs, Strider, tank and bunch of little guys. With just the mech. Then marched into the strat jammer base and rekt that too. With the mech. There's nothing wrong with the mech. I see some RUclips influencers get in one, march it into an open field, aggro EVERYTHING, take heavy weapons fire from 4 directions and then complain when they die a few seconds later. Well, yea. Shoot the ground in front of the little guys, especially when they're clustered. The aoe from the explosion will kill 2-3 per round, instead of aiming for body shots and missing 2/3 times. So yea, fight smart, and kill 10x as much stuff.

It is so refreshing to hear a down to earth non biased opinion. I love the mech. My only problem are the limitations and cool downs, but since I know why they are in place its not that big a deal. Against bots I tend to use the mechs more as a back line fire support platform. So many people are so eager to lead or do their own thing and its nice to get to use them as bait for turrets, tanks and the like. Range is always your number one advantage over the bots. The farther away you engage the harder you are to hit and the more time you have to react.
Normally, I share a similar mindset with maple but not on this one. The idea that if I bring a superior strategem, to help this strategem, makes it B or A tier is one I can't get behind. It needs to be buffed and adjusted imo. Giving it a pass for its underperformance and clear lack of efficiency to stand on its own isn't the way to go on this one. If anything, I'd say it's your skillset, making it appear better than it truly is. Just my opinion. Still love the content. Aces.
exactly, if it's damage to titans is so bad that you have to run a separate anti tank of rely on a teammate to cover that flaw, the mech should not have as little ammo and as long a cooldown as it does, if it's cooldown was maybe 7 minutes with 3 uses then yeah ok sure, but it's power right now does not at all match 1 the intended fantasy 2 the cooldown and uses you get, thats also ignoring the pretty common case where you aren't able to use all the ammo or it gets near instantly demolished, thats a stratagem you just wasted that can't be used for another 10 minutes, where as even something as simple as the precision strike is better at dealing with titans than the AC mech, FAR faster cooldown, far more ease of use, doesn't require half it's ammo to kill an enemy that regularly shows up on 7+ people may say they like it but it's fundamentally not worth the effort or slot
I think this is just a consequence of how stupid bile titans are to kill and how many of them spawn. Bile titans shouldn't be as numerous as 3-5 at the same time on helldive. Especially when only half a dozen stratagems are effective at killing them and you can run out rather quickly. EATs are the only sustainable way to kill them if you don't Wana take more than 1 eagle so you can get 500k cooldown imideately.
Nah, its trash the AC is way better option, more dmg, more durable part dmg, can resuply, you are smaller target while using AC, more mobile than the ac mech, no limit to 2 per mission, very low cd compared to it, its fun but not usable or good for higher diff
what is this? promoting teamplay and giving advice? you can't just say "one EAT + 4 shots kill a titan". that makes it sound decent. you have to enter the mech, never leave it until you explode and shit talk it like everyone else! on a more serious note... the mech is alright, but it feels like the AC sentry is of similar power, with way lower cooldown and risk involved. also oneshots make it really painful to use vs bots.
I heard on another video that one of the Emancipators arms is much less accurate than the other? Anyone notice that?
