I’m currently out of town, but I managed to get this video done before we left, so I hope y’all enjoy it! Also, I do not know why the footage randomly glitches sometimes, but I think it’s because the camera knows I’m not human 🤖
Those pokemon creepypasta videos scared me so much as a little kid- I think the only videos that slightly traumatized me were those videos about animals being abused in sea world or similar problems involving animal cruelty or killing. Along with a lot of short animations that included a lot of gore or just frightening scenes in general. I also remember some video talking about frightening scenes in children's movies or something and one scene was where this butcher bird put the dead animal characters on thorns and it actually showed blood. Yeah, my mom probably shouldn't have given me access to a phone at such a young age-
You know what terrified me as a child. The 2005 Willy Wonka scene when the girl eats the gum and turns purple and grows big like a blueberry. That was what traumatized me.
I completely forgot about a story I heard at one of the summer camps I went to. If I remember correctly, it was called "Pink Hands", and featured mysterious pink hands that crept into the bedroom of a child and strangled her. I can't find the story anywhere on my search engine, so I will try my best to recount it here. On her twelfth birthday, a young girl was taken to buy an iPod. She was ecstatic about it, as she loved to listen to music. Her parents purchased the device and she immediately went home to use it. She was confused to find that is was unable to download any songs, and even stranger, there was already one song on the supposedly new iPod. The next day, she went back to the store and asked the cashier, who happened to be an old man, about the anomaly. Something flashed across his face, before he quickly shook it off and assured the girl that everything was alright. The man refunded her purchase and even let her keep the 'busted' iPod. As she was leaving the store, anxious to get back home, the man called out to her in a gruff voice that only an old man can pull off, "Feel free to listen to that there song, but whatever you do, do NOT listen to it when you're alone." Feeling a little creeped out, but thinking not much of it, the girl hurried home away from the old man and the strange store. The girl decided to give the song a listen after a couple of days. She plugged in her earbuds and listened to the song. Enraptured by the tune, the girl quickly loved the song (don't ask me why, it is very weird. It reminds me of something I would like, though.) It was a short song, but went like this: "Pink Hands~, Pink Hands~, kno-cking on your door. Pink Hands~, Pink Hands~, cree-ping on your floor. Pink Hands~, Pink Hands~, craw-ling on your bed, Pink Hands~, Pink Hands~, now you're dead!" For a while, she heeded the old man from the store's warning. She only listened to the song when her parents were somewhere in the house. One day, her parents went out to a restaurant and left the girl home alone. She, being twelve, was completely capable of being alone for several hours without causing any serious problems. However, the girl really wanted to listen to the song. (I can't remember if she just forgot the man's warning or if she simply shrugged it off as a silly thing to try and scare her, but it doesn't matter too much because the ending's the same.) The girl went to her room and listened to the song. After listening to it once, she was ready to go to bed, so she went to turn off the music. However, the music kept playing. She was confused, and even tried shutting off her device, but the song kept playing, getting louder and louder with each repeated line. In a panic, she threw her iPod as hard as she could against her bedroom wall, hearing a loud and satisfying snap from the device. The song kept playing, louder and louder until it finally stopped. Hope glistened at the prospect of the song just being a trick of her mind, but then, the words started again, back at normal volume, though more stuttered and less musical. "Pink Hands, Pink Hands, knocking on your door." There was a loud rapping on her door. Thrice it struck the wood seperating the noise from the child. The door creaked as it clicked open, though the girl couldn't see anything in the illumination of the hallway light, her own bedroom being dark. The brewing panic came to a halt, shifting uncomfortably in her gut, but not growing any more obnoxious. "Pink Hands, Pink Hands, creeping on your floor." Suddenly, her panic came back tenfold as the next line was spluttered out after a considerable pause that she did NOT remember being in the song, almost like it had waited for the door to open before starting up again. What caused this panic was the sound of scuttling, much like that of an arachnid, crossing the distance between her bed and the door. Her breath stopped in her throat. "Pink Hands, Pink Hands, crawling on you bed." The hallway light did a terrible job of illuminating the girl's bed, though she felt an added weight at the foot. It was too dark to even make out the shape. She felt the presence scoot closer to her. She was able to detect that there was infact TWO beings on her bed, one on each side of her legs. At least she remembered how to breath after several seconds of brain failure. "Pink Hands, Pink Hands, now you're dead!" A horrible realization flashed before the young child just in time for the things to lunge at her throat. They squeezed and squeezed so hard the girl's eyes fell out of their sockets. All she registered before falling unconscious was the color pink. Once her parents got home, they called her name. When there came no answer from the twelve-year-old, they assumed that she must have fallen asleep. Her mother went to check on her and let out a shrill scream of pure terror. The father rushed into the bedroom and felt his jaw go slack. To the side of her bed, as if she had rollen out in her sleep, laid their dead daughter. One of her eyes was next to her, the other one crushed beneath her back. Her beloved iPod was laid next to the wall, snapped in half underneath a small dent in the structure. The father called the police while the mother went up to weep next to her baby. From her closer position, she could see two imprints of hands wrapped around her throat, with her own hands loose at the base of her neck. It looked as if she ahd strangled herself, which was exactly what the police had claimed had happened. The mother refused to believe that her precious little baby would have killed herself, though couldn't even begin to imagine the truth. Ooh Lordy this is probably the longest comment I have ever posted. Ah well, this story gave me nightmares for several nights, but I still tell this tale to many people whenever I remember it. I'm not sure where the person who told me this story got it from or if it is original to its source material. I don't even know if it even has source material and wasn't just pulled out of that kid's ass. Who knows?
I remember being TERRIFIED of this one finale in Ninjago where Garmadon had a transformation. Same finale where I think Nia was forced to eat something and turned evil? I haven't rewatched it in a while but last time I rewatched it, it wasn't nearly as terrifying
As a small child, I was always really creeped out by this one video, called "the glitch" I think. It was basically about like a video game world, where suddenly everyone started glitching and clipping through things, even after Steve in diamond armor from minecraft pulled the plug and restarted the world kinda. I was especially scared of this one scene where Mario's face started clipping into itself.
I used to listen to the Princess Of Evil series on repeat everytime I would play Papa's Cupcakeria in the library during recess in elementary school lol
Powerpuff girls would shake me to my core as a kid. All the villains. When the gangrene gang came in screen I had a physical reaction. I would feel like puking. Also that one episode where Buttercup falls in love with the main one gave me weird feelings about grown men. Him was just scary. Idk why. Fuzzy lumpkins (I think that's his name) would give me anxiety with the gun and shooting everything. Mojojojo was the only one I actually liked. We Stan Mojojojo💜💚 anyways also that one episode of adventure time where Finn has to deal with that giant cat thing. Its like some dungeon episode where he has to rescue Jake. That cat scared me to death. Like I couldn't sleep after that episode. The city of thieves episode also gave me trust issues. So many kids cartoons scared me to where now I long for the feeling of horror that will make me lose sleep.
I remember this one video I watched when I was younger. It was a horror video featuring a large white dog with a black circle for its face. It wasn't the undertale amalgamation but it was similar, I remember it stood on two legs and had very bulky arms. I did watch the video and was terrified afterwards. So much so that I had the most vivid nightmare ever. Even today it's still the worst nightmare I've ever had.
I remember watching a music video about Twilight Sparkle as Withered Bonnie as a child and being horrified but also didn't think of just like- turning the video off?
One thing that would creep me out as a kid was when song would slow down or speed up in music and voice, I always thought that someone was fiddling with the radio when that happened.
Well done father. I remember one of the scariest games for me when I was young was a game called Puzzle Agent. It was a puzzle game where you go through a small town way up north as an FBI investigator. You’re looking into an eraser factory that shut down. The scary part was these tiny little red gnomes that freakishly whispered into peoples’ ears or snuck around. The second game was even scarier. Some parts involved some space conspiracy so there was this walking, empty space suit and other creepy stuff. But I remember the second game less. The game franchise has a really nice style and is underrated. I recommend people look into it.
Honestly I was really scared of this old analogue? horror video called Agamemnon counterpart, I was also scared of Misao, Bongcheon-dong ghost story was scary as hell and Slenderman of course.
I had a pretty big friend group a few years ago that was basically our school’s local Homestuck cult (as in we were the Homestuck scene kids who wore homemade Cosplay to school and laughed about buckets and listened to way too much loud music. It was the life tbh). In our time as a group we encountered a weird video that I can’t find anywhere. No records, no finding it, no recollection of important details regarding the uploaded because I never thought about it. It was called something to the affect of “live broadcast from Alternia” and began as an animation meme of someone’s fantroll with a song I can’t remember. After about 5-ish seconds it glitched and went to static, until the static cleared on a pretty distressing scene. It was from the perspective of a camera laying on the ground and it was dark. Whether it was live action or really good cgi I couldn’t tell. I vividly remember how there was a bright light off in the distance, like explosions or something, and there were humanoid forms running all over the place and you could hear sounds of just- people panicking for lack of a better description. Eventually one of the figures picked up the camera, his face couldn’t be seen but he had grey skin and didn’t look fully human (like a Homestuck troll) and he seemed panicked, saying something to the effect of “this is it, send help, we’re not going to last, everyone’s gonna wind up culled”, the works. It kinda freaked me and my friends out because of how weirdly real it felt. We didn’t think it was, going “wow cool horror content based on a thing we like” and brushing it off, watching it together a few times after that. I’ve not been able to find it anywhere since and I think it’s lost media now.
Going off of Mlp’s Darkfics and Grimdarks, Fluttershy’s and Rarity’s are the darkest, but Twilight’s Experiments had the most interesting build up. Also the Vocaloid song “Ant Observation” is pretty dark. It’s about a Girl loving to watch ants do their things, but a boy destroys an Ant Hill, so the Ants decide to kill him and eat his soul and it’s implied, at the end, that the girl ended up destroying another Ant Hill on accident and it’s going to happen again. However, it doesn’t have a English Cover.
Ok low key kinda was afraid of that one episode from powerpuff girls where it’s the one where him wins time travel episode, then there was a show on Cartoon Network called problem solvers
I remember being really scared of The Nightmare Before Christmas to where I had a nightmare about Oogie Boogie. I also remember first watching DHMIS 5, when duck got his organs removed by the huge can, I couldn't sleep on my back after that and still can't lol
Man, this makes me think of the animal jam creepypasta's I listened too a lot. I don't know if their still up but it was sorta called "The cursed animals" or somethin. like their was "The stabbed wolf" and "The lonely rabbit" and each video talked of this character meeting these cursed animals and somehow either dying by the end or having a mental break down due to what occurred to them. There was also Pokémon creepypasta's. The one I specifically remember was called "Tommy boy" I can't remember what it was about but ya. I really thought those were gonna make a mention in the video lol
I never remember being traumatized by anything as a child, but looking back, I definitely shouldn't have watched Chainsaw Maid at the age of 7. That definitely shaped me.
When I was younger I mean I'm fine with it now but the part in strange neighbors with the giant unicorn was absolutely horrifying and it still creeps me out
I'm super happy smiledog was mentioned. Oh um, gosh, Yoshi's Island's vore boss traumatized me so hard I turned it off during the first encounter in pure shock my yoshi got eaten
Since I know things like Cupcakes or Smile HD and various creepypastas have been mentioned (I to this day cannot listen to Lavander Town comfortably) I guess I'll talk about the most particular thing I was scared of as a child, and I was scared of many things (like my fear of button-eyed dolls and small doors, thanks Coraline!) but this one idk I find special. When I was little me and my family had many DVDs,one of them was the two disc edition of The Incredibles. I would watch the second disc often cause I've always been more interested in the extra features than the movie itself. The disc contained interviews with the various heroes,Mr.Incredible,Elastigirl and Frozone, they're the ones I can recall cause her comes the part that terrified me: there's the various heroes Edna Mode gives as example on why capes are bad and also the heroes Syndrome killed. I being a child thought "how cool! A way to know these heroes that don't appear in the film!" and as soon as I pressed play on one of them... A deep man's voice, almost robotic in tone, with zero background noise, talking about how the content is not available, this probably done on purpose as these were all dead heroes,I tried two or three more times covering my ears as soon as I heard that man's voice waiting for it to stop. And I think that ever since,an almost robotic sounding voice with zero background noise (or ecstatic noise) is a sure thing to scare the shit out of me no matter what. I haven't heard to these again, they're probably somewhere on the internet and I know that we still got that DVD somewhere, maybe it isn't even as terrifying as I remember it and I just get uneasy with the uncanny valley vibes a human but not really voice gives me,especially if now in retrospective the voice is referencing the person is gone (I don't remember very well what exactly he said,if there was a reason behind it or if it only informed me I cannot access it)
I had a furby as a kid, for some reason it kept waking up and... Saying furby things during the night so we gave it away to charity. Tobu is some other poor families problem now I guess.
SO A SUGGESTION: ODD SQUAD!! i love the show and it has some weird moments but in general the show is pretty good (cried at the ending when it was over bc i loved the show and it's the only reason i would ever love math- WHICH I DONT!!)
Dude I loved Odd Squad! I grew up with it and it actually made math easier to learn for me, plus I always loved seeing weird creatures or just weird stuff in general
there was a episode of a very popular series called "goosepumps" that traumatized me when I was 15 years old. It was about a girl who was a fan of dummy dolls and got on dummy doll on her birthday who was named Slappy the dummy. And that doll become the reason why I can not watch horror movies when there is possesed dolls involved; just like that horror movie called "Annabelle"
Honestly the first thing to scare or horrify me was the mysterious house. I watched it when it came out cause it was in my recommended and to say the least I had fears of being kidnapped for about 8 weeks
the freezer bit from the SpongeBob episode, Night Light freaked out the first time. one minute Mr. Krabs tells SpongeBob to go in the dark freezer despite SpongeBob now having Nyctophobia due to reading a scary story before bed and the next a disembodied head is laughing creepily as it floats closer to the camera. that scared both me and SpongeBob. then there was the Heffalump sequence from the Winnie the Pooh movie.
THE DAUGHTER OF EVIL SERIES IS SO GOOD! Also I absolutely loved Creepypasta, especially Pokemon Creepypasta when I was young. I was super obsessed and terrified of stories like Lost Silver, Snow on Mount Silver, Hypno’s Lullaby, all that stuff. Thanks to the Hypno’s Lullaby FNF mod, I’m getting back into it (just pokemon tho), plus new ones like Strangled Red and Glitchy Red. Also Shinto is very funny.
Something that scared me as a child: First of all, CLAYMATION. but then take a peom about a small boy slowly turning into a TV by watching it 24/7 and TURN THAT INTO CLAYMATION AND PURE NIGHTMARE FUEL.
Okay okay okay, I liked some obscure stuff as a kid. “Oobi” God teir, “A bad case of stripes” my favorite freaking book (Come over here and fight me old man, I will absolutely throw down for Camilla Cream, she is ICONIC) but what I absolutely hated was dolls. Dummys, puppets, marionettes all terrified me. Especially when people would make them scream. Don’t get me wrong I have no problem with them now but as a little gay I would flip my shit if the muppets came on. Anyone else?
THE MUSHROOM NIGHTMARE SCENE FROM MISS SPIDER’S SUNNY PATCH FRIENDS CAUSED ME SO MUCH DISTRESS AS A CHILD I CAN’T EVEN EXPLAIN THE HORROR I FELT AND I HAD IT ON DVD
So I wasn't the only one who was traumatized by the Miss Spider mushroom episode. Good to know. I already didn't like mushrooms, but I think that episode gave me a phobia of them.
Talking about Vocaloid, ARE WE GONNA TALK ABOUT THE ONIBI SERIES BY MASA WORKS DESIGN??? THAT WAS WEIRDLY MY CHILDHOOD! Little me loved Dark shit, and vocaloid. It's also a bop soooo-
When I was younger I used to watch a RUclips channel called OmarGoshTV and Moe Sargi. Back when the 3am challenge was becoming popular, they would play hide and seek with random dolls that they'd either claim to be haunted or would perform some kind of ritual on said doll that would make the doll come alive and hunt them down until the hour was up. Watching those videos made me not trust my plushies for a few years because I always though they'd try to kill me from 3-4am. Apologies if this was hard to read.
I was terrified of nine as a kid but I was definitely more pertified of the 2009 Scrooge film, so much infact my family had to leave the cinema and see Up instead
Thank you for mentioning the creepy santa bumper !! i really hope this video will help bring at least a little traction to it, ive been trying to find that damn thing for years with no luck
Lesse... - Snow on Mt Silver - Ben Drowned - The Thing (didn't watch all of it, because one body horror thing was enough) - This one chain post, with a creepy doll (I can't remember what it was about)
Some of the Boomerang bumpers from the early 2000s freaked me out as a kid. Erie music playing, while windup toys of your favorite characters waddled on screen, with nothing but a blank background surrounding them. Mmmm nostalgia….. Also Ghost Whisperer freaked me out so much as a kid. Who let me watch that series? Lol
13:14 OH MY GOD THIS SHOW. It makes me so happy whenever someone acknowledges this show cause it reassures me it indeed wasn't some fever dream of mine. And I do remember the mushroom episode, this show was just so damn weird
I had a hyper fixation on haunted doll videos/haunted videos in general. Like I loved watching them, but they would make me so freaked out. Like enough to give me a phobia of mirrors...
this video reminded me some of the stuff i forgot i used to be scared of. forgot i used to be scared of fnaf, but i still do remember game theory videos keeping me up at night. i was scared of some of the thumbnails alone. also i got really excited at the vocaloid part because daught and servant of evil was big on my childhood (although i would watch the one with bubbles from the powerpuff girls) overall great video! cant wait for the next video
If you are able to to another one of these, the abandoned by disney series(the one that inspired five nights at treasure island fnaf fangame series) and the series’ spinoffs(or other peoples content made for it since the creator let other people take the wheel), id also suggest looking at the fnati series(the one i mentioned earlier) as its based on(but isnt a part of) abandoned by disney
I was a wimpy kid, typically those videos reading out disturbing Pokémon entries did kinda get to me. I also remember seeing a top 10 creepy Pokémon fusions list and they did terrified me. Idk why I kept watching, curiosity gets us all. Now though, I can appreciate the fusion designs as an inspiring artist
I'm so glad that you mentioned Evillious! Though there is so much more than 15 songs. It's actually 60+ and ongoing, it has all the Seven Deadly Sins (Daughter of Evil being Pride), the creation and destruction of a whole world, parallel words, a witch war during that whole world, and so much more! I cab gladly give you a playlist that has a decent amount of the songs and the Wiki for it to look more into the series!
when I was younger I was TERRIFIED of that one Roblox horror game called 'The Mimic' I was also Terrified of that one deadpool 2 scene when the guy gets killed because he fell into a wood chipper or something like that.
So for me what scared me the most was that episode of fishhooks about the blue fish being paranoid after watching a spooky movie we’re people were switched with alien doubles and at the end after he got over his fears it turned out to be true. Also the episode of regular show where rigby turns into a skunk against his will
13:10 that episode scared the crap out of me when i was a kid and was part of the reason I hated mushrooms for most of my life (you also didn't mention the part when the bug in question was turned into a mushroom after having a spore fly into his mouth)
Labyrinth didn't scare me per se, but some of the puppets creeped me out, when I was small. Also the thought of someone, possibly being left to bleed to death behind the walls, with those puppets who remove there body parts. That kinda freaked me out too lol.
I have a good one that a lot of people probably wouldn't put down here: Dinosaur Planet. This was a low-budget CGI docu-drama about dinosaurs that aired on the Discovery Channel sometime in the early 2000s. It lasted for four episodes, each one focusing on the life of one particular dinosaur that lived in the Late Cretaceous period (each episode was set 80 million years ago, but most used fauna that lived before or after the time period of the episode for some reason). They were: - White Tip's Journey, set in prehistoric Mongolia (specifically a layer of rocks called the Djadokhta Formation), focusing on a Velociraptor trying to raise a family after her pack all died - Alpha's Egg, set in prehistoric Argentina (specifically a layer of rocks called Auca Mahuevo), focusing on a Saltasaurus and an Aucasaurus growing up in a dangerous world - Pod's Travels, set initially in prehistoric France (I think it's the Grés Superieurs Formation?), but later on in prehistoric Romania (Hateg Basin), focusing on a Pyroraptor that gets washed out to sea in a tsunami and winds up on an island full of miniature dinosaurs - Little Das's Hunt, set in prehistoric US (Two Medicine Formation), focusing on a family of Daspletosaurus pursuing a pair of lost young Maiasaura in the shadows of an active volcano I always got a huge kick out of dinosaurs, and I especially like when they're depicted as accurately as possible for the time a work was made (as was the case here; despite the budget, feathers are prominent on a lot of the dinosaurs shown, and they look pretty good for janky cheap early-00s CGI despite not holding up to our modern understanding of dinosaur feathers). As for why I'm putting this here, though? The animators put a lot of effort into their blood effects. Too much, even, as there are regularly scenes showing dinosaurs losing far more blood than you would expect them to be able to lose. This is most apparent in Pod's Travels, where there was a scene showing two island guanodonts (iirc they're meant to be Zalmoxes but weren't identified as such) beating each other to death, with the loser slinking away with most of its body turned red with blood before collapsing. I also have memories of parents asking me to put something else on, not understanding why they said they were disgusted by it. They're just animals, right? They're doing what animals do. It just felt so normal to me that I didn't understand their issues with it.
I vividly remember this one youtube video where someone cut open pokemon stuffed toys and fake blood came out. I can't find the original video but it genuinely had me having nightmares for weeks
FINALLY, I'VE BEEN WAITING FOR SOMEONE TO TALK ABOUT THE MOVIE 9 AGAIN!!!! It's secretly one of my most favorite movies and one of my cousins still has it till this day. Just wish their dad lets me keep the movie. :')
infinity train. all the death scenes, like when atticus became a pitch black bug like monster with multiple tentacles for a face, or simon dying by his skin being melted off by the same species of tentacle bug things
I remember that the movie "Spirited away" terrified me as a kid, like the first 5 minutes when Chihiro's parents got turned into pigs haunted me for almost a month
When I was little, I had some Barney the Dinosaur tapes.(idk if all of them were movies or if some were episode compilations) At the end of them they had this little jingle thing that I think was meant to be a logo but it scared the crap out of me. It was the 2d Barney logo with Barney on top in a black void and at the end they try to give the illusion of him winking by putting a shine over his eye. Since I sometimes watched these in the basement I always had the fear that a tiny squished Barney would chase me up the stairs
So this one is probably going to make me sound old lol. There was a show on cartoon network called sheep in the big city it would sometimes have animated ads for fake products. One of them was for a flashlight that worked but sucking the life out of you showing some lady rapidly aging and shivleing up looking like a frail old woman saying how badly she wanted to go to sleep but the light was too bright. This scared me s well as made me really sad at the same time :(
I didn't see the post in the community tab! but what traumatized me the most in childhood was the movie "disaster movie". but specifically, the parody they did with alvin and the chipmunks. Anyone who has seen the movie knows what I mean! that scene traumatized me so much that for most of my childhood I stopped watching Alvin and the Chipmunks movies (I liked it as a kid) and I started not sleeping with the light off, and I also started not sleeping with my back to the point which has become customary! nowadays I'm not afraid of the dark, but I still sleep like that. And I also hate this movie nowadays!
I'VE GOTCHU RAIN! So I was obsessed with child MMOs as a kid. Like Animal Jam and Club Penguin. Specifically, on Animal Jam, there was an urban legend of fman122, think the herobrine of Animal Jam. And there was a summoning "ritual" rumored to work for him! So my friend and I did it. And it worked. And I was so shaken up cause "Holy shoot it WORKED". No one believes us to this day but I know it happened since I still had the items in my inventory and my friend still remembers it.
yoooo!! always love your content rain!! your editing style is really fun too!! i think one of my childhood traumas was the grinny cat creepypasta. i remeber my cousin reading it to me when i was younger and was scared for a WHILE. listening to a story about a mangled cat dancing was not what i needed to hear about whilst in a dark room as a child (why do all the traumas have to do with cats??) i had lots of other childhood traumas but i’m blanking, may come back later to rant though
Just revisiting your chanel after a while, and in this time i turned myself into a ghost fan, and i loved the 8-bit call me little sunshine version. Thank you for showing me this, idk
Ok, it wasn’t a show or anything on tv, but something about the song Ring of Fire by Johnny Cash gave me such a horrible feeling as a kid, and I couldn’t listen to it. It might’ve been something about the imagery I’d imagine when hearing it, but if it ever came on over a store intercom, I’d always cover my ears and think VERY LOUDLY about ANYTHING ELSE
I think an actual TV show that scared me was Madoka Magica as a kid, which was notably my first anime at the age of 8. Now I'm obsessed with it, lol. ALSO SIDE NOTE AS A HIGHLY DEDICATED PINGU FAN IT WAS N O T A WALRUS IN THE NIGHTMARE EPISODE!!! IT WAS A LEOPARD SEAL!!!! WHAT MAKES IT SO CREEPY IS THAT SAID PUPPET WAS USED AS A TEST RIG AND IN THAT RIG HE SPOKE GERMAN!!!!!!! WHAT THE FUCK UPDATE: FOUND THE VIDEO ruclips.net/video/xGvo1nUUP2s/видео.html
For me it was more of a nightmare once upon a time when I was a kid like a really young kid it was a nightmare woody slowly moving it's head towards me and then jump scaring me a meeting after the jump scare I woke up in a cold sweat
When I was like 9 or 10, maybe 11 or 12 (it’s very vague in my head) my dad showed me the Dr Who episode with the mannequins. I think this is right? Other stuff I got traumatized from was the first episode of Pushing Daisies, specifically the bag-choking scene (if you know, you know), and also the hat scene from Meet the Robinsons. Other media I got trauma from was a short story (yeah I know only video but this scared me so much I have to include it) where it was basically Invasion of the Body Snatchers lite called ‘Crizzles’ in one of the Campfire Weenie books, along with ‘Hop to It’ and ‘Inquire Within’ from the same compilation.
10:33 ..is that a reference to the story of the Tailypo? Because if so HOO boy you just unlocked a memory. I remember going camping once back in primary school and one of the people there told us that story right before we were all about to go to sleep, I was terrified of that thing actually breaking into my tent that I barely slept. I now actually own the book of that story and I occasionally read it from time to time. Ahh memories.
When I was young I was TERRIFIED of this one episode of The Story Bots where they learned about teeth and it was themed like a western and there were these evil bacteria guys and idk it just terrified me even tho it wasn’t scary at all so uh yea
I’m currently out of town, but I managed to get this video done before we left, so I hope y’all enjoy it! Also, I do not know why the footage randomly glitches sometimes, but I think it’s because the camera knows I’m not human 🤖
I got the welcome to dream world keychains I got starlight and my mom got the last keychain waitt
Wow I really wanted to starlight too but I didn’t but at least I got lollypop
@@Lucystar89 noice

@@Lucystar89 cool
It’s nice having someone talk about what us early 2000s kids witnessed while being glued online
Alright, the whole momo thing was terrifying to me. Now im older and see that its not very scary. But the idea of it is still haunting.
oh god i remember that, my whole class was on edge because we all though it was real hjkgbf
Yeah, my mom probably shouldn't have given me access to a phone at such a young age-
Oh yeah, that movie with the butcher bird was "Watership down". I saw it from a video by PhantomStrider when I was younger.
You know what terrified me as a child. The 2005 Willy Wonka scene when the girl eats the gum and turns purple and grows big like a blueberry. That was what traumatized me.
That's Roald Dahl and Tim Burton for ya.
What scared me from that movie was the animatronics at the entrance burning up and melting and what happened with Augustus.
I FREAKIN LOVE FURBIES. they weren’t Trauma for me, I actually used the old furby boom app and me and my sister named it beakoh
It reminds me of something I would like, though.) It was a short song, but went like this:
"Pink Hands~, Pink Hands~, kno-cking on your door.
Pink Hands~, Pink Hands~, cree-ping on your floor.
Pink Hands~, Pink Hands~, craw-ling on your bed,
Pink Hands~, Pink Hands~, now you're dead!"
For a while, she heeded the old man from the store's warning.
Who knows?
This is a really interesting story, it sounds scary as all hell but very interesting none the less!
Isn't that a smosh video or something like that? I think I've seen something like that
@@crimson-cloud maybe?? I don't remember who it was by lol
@@SkyeSkyeArt No, it wasn't made by Smosh. It was made by Corridor Digital. Although Anthony did make an appearance in one of their videos once.
I think Accursed Farms did a video on this game
Honestly I was really scared of this old analogue? horror video called Agamemnon counterpart, I was also scared of Misao, Bongcheon-dong ghost story was scary as hell and Slenderman of course.
I have no idea why but I loved Ms. Spider’s as a kid. Thank you for reminding me of this show
I had a pretty big friend group a few years ago that was basically our school’s local Homestuck cult (as in we were the Homestuck scene kids who wore homemade Cosplay to school and laughed about buckets and listened to way too much loud music.
Omgomgomgoogomgomg if you have not seen Cyriak Harris’s work, please check it out, he is insanely talented its so crazy.
Oh, I LOVE llama’s with hats. Hilarious.
I never remember being traumatized by anything as a child, but looking back, I definitely shouldn't have watched Chainsaw Maid at the age of 7.
That definitely shaped me.
Sally face was also a thing I watched gameplays of and it may or may not have given me nightmares
5:12 Daughter of Evil and the songs related to it actually made me cry as a little kid
Something that scared me as a child: First of all, CLAYMATION. but then take a peom about a small boy slowly turning into a TV by watching it 24/7 and TURN THAT INTO CLAYMATION AND PURE NIGHTMARE FUEL.
I'm so glad you did a part two- I'm glad so many people were terrified by these things as a kid too.
The creator of Llamas With Hats also made an amazing series called "ShadowStone Park" that has some really creepy moments!
I did not expect a Tailypo reference of all things to be in this video, what a throw back
I was terrified of nine as a kid but I was definitely more pertified of the 2009 Scrooge film, so much infact my family had to leave the cinema and see Up instead
Thank you for mentioning the creepy santa bumper !! i really hope this video will help bring at least a little traction to it, ive been trying to find that damn thing for years with no luck
Lesse...
- Snow on Mt Silver
- Ben Drowned
- The Thing (didn't watch all of it, because one body horror thing was enough)
- This one chain post, with a creepy doll (I can't remember what it was about)
Some of the Boomerang bumpers from the early 2000s freaked me out as a kid. Erie music playing, while windup toys of your favorite characters waddled on screen, with nothing but a blank background surrounding them. Mmmm nostalgia…..
Also Ghost Whisperer freaked me out so much as a kid. Who let me watch that series? Lol
The fishhooks episode about the doll really freaked me out as a kid
"i was so freaked out that some evil cat would attack me is i stole its tail"
Tailypo~
Tailypo~
now i have my Tailypo~
the talk with the evil cat might be a nod to the Tailypo story.
I LITERALLY LOVE YOU FOR KNOWING DAUGHTER OF EVIL OH MY GOD- I'VE HYPER FIXATED ON IT THE MINUTE I FOUND IT, AND STILL AM TO THIS DAY AAAAAA-
When I was younger bendy and the ink machine scared me, not the over characters just the cute little bendy, and this was when I was 7
I wanna work for you... I REALLY DO!!! *Frustrated Wolf Demon noises*
They were:
- White Tip's Journey, set in prehistoric Mongolia (specifically a layer of rocks called the Djadokhta Formation), focusing on a Velociraptor trying to raise a family after her pack all died
- Alpha's Egg, set in prehistoric Argentina (specifically a layer of rocks called Auca Mahuevo), focusing on a Saltasaurus and an Aucasaurus growing up in a dangerous world
- Pod's Travels, set initially in prehistoric France (I think it's the Grés Superieurs Formation?), but later on in prehistoric Romania (Hateg Basin), focusing on a Pyroraptor that gets washed out to sea in a tsunami and winds up on an island full of miniature dinosaurs
- Little Das's Hunt, set in prehistoric US (Two Medicine Formation), focusing on a family of Daspletosaurus pursuing a pair of lost young Maiasaura in the shadows of an active volcano
I always got a huge kick out of dinosaurs, and I especially like when they're depicted as accurately as possible for the time a work was made (as was the case here; despite the budget, feathers are prominent on a lot of the dinosaurs shown, and they look pretty good for janky cheap early-00s CGI despite not holding up to our modern understanding of dinosaur feathers).
The ending of the sickness episode of FishHooks really freaked me out.
Two movies that scared me as a kid were Ghostbusters, and Gremlins.
One of my favorite videos was “DICEEEEEE”
OKAY WAIT, I LOVE THE CALL ME LITTLE SUNSHINE BY GHOST IN THE BACKROUND AT THE START
its funny that you mention rainbow factory because welcome home has their own rainbow factory now lol
This scared me s well as made me really sad at the same time :(
SCP scared the hell out of me when I was a kid. I thought it was real, but it never was...
Oh yeah, and don't forget herobrine..
4:56 O GOMGOMGOMGOGJG I HEARD VOCALOIDOSHSIFHD
one thing that scared me when I was little was the Big Bad Wolf from Seasame Street that horrific thing haunted me till I was 13
4:18 You are 100% correct on that, yup, that's how it works.
The Egyptian gods being robots does sound pretty sick
i woke up this mornin and all i see is the beutiful fnaf scene of freddy and the stareing derectly into ur soul
Ayo the 8bit little sunshine cover in the beginning? I love
yoooo!! always love your content rain!! your editing style is really fun too!!
i think one of my childhood traumas was the grinny cat creepypasta. i remeber my cousin reading it to me when i was younger and was scared for a WHILE. listening to a story about a mangled cat dancing was not what i needed to hear about whilst in a dark room as a child (why do all the traumas have to do with cats??)
i had lots of other childhood traumas but i’m blanking, may come back later to rant though
One of my childhood trauma was secrets of wysteria, that shit kept me up for days.
Happy tree friends. also 9 is literally my favorite movie and I got so excited when it got brought up in this video!!!
I think my main childhood trauma from the internet was those rare mlp creepy pastas like something sweet to bite, and little miss rarity
WHAT THE FUCK
UPDATE: FOUND THE VIDEO ruclips.net/video/xGvo1nUUP2s/видео.html
You know what really scared me?
Old man mcgucket from gravity falls idk y but that shiz was terrifying to 5 year old me💀
10:33 ..is that a reference to the story of the Tailypo? Because if so HOO boy you just unlocked a memory.
I remember going camping once back in primary school and one of the people there told us that story right before we were all about to go to sleep, I was terrified of that thing actually breaking into my tent that I barely slept. I now actually own the book of that story and I occasionally read it from time to time. Ahh memories.
When I was young I was TERRIFIED of this one episode of The Story Bots where they learned about teeth and it was themed like a western and there were these evil bacteria guys and idk it just terrified me even tho it wasn’t scary at all so uh yea
Im pretty surprised that htf didbt get on. That was pretty gory and the intro music will make you go crazy after awhile
I used to be terrified of "have you seen this man" as a kid
