I love that your showing the unflaterring part of your degree, because a lot of people just show the glorious parts and while thats great its not very realistic and i appreciate you showing these parts
I am 14 years old and my dream of becoming an architect never change since im 5 years old.. so im here searching about architects and be inspired😊 this is so cool!!
Hi! Can you possible do a video talking about what to expect out of grad school? Doing internship during the school year or just the summer? maybe an in depth video of the AXP hours and how to obtain those hours during the internship years! Thanks! Appreciate all the videos they are helpful and very relatable!
Hi!!!! Firat of all your model is breathtaking and remarkable!!💖💖I am planning to major in landscape architecture at OSU and your channel has been a blessing. It gives a lot of insight into the field.
Thank you for your videos, I’m of mature age and tussling with the chore of deciding to start the degree, imagining myself doing these tasks feels more positive and optimistic than I thought. At my age, time is precious, I need to make sure it’s what I want to do in future. Thanks for your help ❤
You are lucky tho! 13 years back we had to do all parts of our models by ourself, mean no laser cut, no print! It took us hundreds euro, at least a week or two for only showing it in a presentation for 15min. and than throw out away cause our homes were already full of other models.
OO so the acrylic itself is very expensive. One sheet is about $30. I used 3 things of PLA at $22/spool. And I bought more gluesticks and spraypaint. So my estimate is that this model set me back around $130 at least!
Uhhhhhh! I really do hate when you paint something and it warps 😪 I swear spray paint is out here giving more curves than a plastic surgeon. Also great model but we’re gonna need to see a video on the project as a whole please.
Ive been looking for a way to build models like gaudis model of the sagrada. I cannot even find a name for the type of model that Gaudi created for that cathedral. Are there names for models that also take into account the forces applied in scale? Sorry for my language im not an architecture student or anything of the like.
Hey Random question... Im currently looking into Ohio state for grad school. I assume you didnt want to go there for grad school and went to penn. just curious as too why? thanks!
Because I already went to OSU for undergrad, I wanted the capacity to network with another school and its alumni network. Penn seemed like the perfect solution, and I am so happy I made that decision.
Have YOU ever built a physical architectural model before?!
Yes! It’s always been my favorite part 😁
I had to do about 10 of them this semester, it was crazy! But the work really paid off tho:)
Yes

of course!! happy to do so. No matter what you major in, it's not always sunshine and rainbows.
Don't get me wrong this would actually be fun for me and not tiring or anything
I see no unflattering parts
As a first-year, I love seeing how models are made in more advanced studios. Thank you for sharing your experience :D

Awesome!!! Welcome!!!
So satisfying to watch! But then that’s easy to say when you get to watch all the hard work and effort wrapped up in a Timelapse! 😂 Love the video!
Glad you enjoyed it!

Great model!! The dedication behind it is remarkable! Just out of curiosity, how much did you spend for the materials needed to build this model?
