I’m glad that the kings guards and the police are starting to keep the tourists away from the kings horses. To gain respect from the tourist petting the horses or grabbing their reins, the horse guards and police need to use their loud voices to say “Don’t Touch” or “Stand Back.” A strong voice commands attention!

They should not let him do that in front of the horses. they should make him do that somewhere else far away from the horses so they don't get spooked with his big sign and his yelling!!

The horse got spooked, so as every responsible person should do, the tourists gather all around the horse that the guard is trying to control thanks to the "preacher" shouting and wanting to be part of the limelight. And if one of these wonderful tourists had gotten injured, they would be crying like a bunch of idiots they got injured. But, of course, let's not expect the tourists to get out of the way because they are trying their best to get that "perfect picture." No common sense.

You know what the animal doesn't enjoy, being served up for dinner to feed the people of Kazakhstan, Mongolia and Australia just to name a few places that process horse meat the same way they do cows.

It is obvious that these horses are in pain, the way they open their mouths. All you need to recognize this is empathy. And we probably don't need to discuss the fact that this is against animal welfare. Most of the mounted soldiers are obviously novice riders who sit on the horse like a sack of potatoes, are sometimes much too heavy and cannot even control it at a walk. I have seen several videos where the riders had to be led at a walk, so in principle they are free-running horses. This nonsense not only endangers the horses, but also innocent people. Just as pointless in 2024 as zoos or circuses.
