I'm really glad you didn't scrap this project, and I'm even more glad that you included how much of a struggle it was for you. I think it's encouraging for newer artists to see that even people that have been in the craft for a while have their down moments and that perseverance is key. I love the outcome and I definitely want to see the rest of the sailor senshi! I vote for Jupiter next!
I'm so happy you decided to keep going and show the struggle. As an artist myself I'm so critical of my work. BUt when you showed that even someone as good at art as you are can make mistakes and struggle , it reminds me that's it's ok. This piece is beautiful and I'm so happy you finished it!
Minori has incredible artistic capability. She can always impress us with what she does that she's also passionate about. We will support her and her channel no matter what.
Agreed !! She really is artistic.. Minori was the reason I kept on drawing and painting even though alot of people were saying that I should give it up because it's not a talent. I mean I didn't believe them since my mom always told me to believe in myself even though if worse scenarios happen in my life.. well of course I did and all of you should do too!! Minori was gifted this amazing talent and so was I. So I will use this talent for good and cherish it 💗
I loved the idea behind the video, I loved how it turned out, and I love that Minori showed the process may not always be smooth and easy, but worth finishing regardless. Art isn't about perfection; it's about having fun creating something, and not giving up. It's okay to get frustrated, step away, and come back when you're ready, and even the artists one looks up to and admires has struggles sometimes. This video is so inspirational!
You are such an inspiration. So many people are pretending they never mess up, but you are showing the reality of being an artist. Thank you! Your art is amazing!
A tip that I learned is that to avoid the smudges draw the outline on the front of the glass and color it from the back Dont put the outline and the color on the same side or it might smudge just like what happened when u touched the paint and didnt dry (bcs if the outline was on the other side u wouldn’t have drawn it again and u could just erase/remove the paint and it wouldn’t affect the outline😅😊)
You can also go over it with some puffy paint or hot glue to raise the outline so the paint floods in the outline like when making a cookie then all you have to do is wipe off the smudges in-between the outline and not the entire thing
The paint is a few millimeters thick so you will easily see the outline and the paint different from each other and it will be really hart to keep the paint inside the line art. I have been following minori since a long time so I know why she doesn't do that.
as a fellow glasspainter who's doing this for a while, get other markers! posca pens are horrible and crack and smudge. what you wanna look for in a pain is an OIL based pen. or switching to painting the outlines with paint instead. sealing the lines with modpodge before painting is also an option :) theres a lot of ways to achieve a clean end result and its all about finding what works best for you!
@@sassyscribblezn maybe make a tutorial, I've been wanting to try do this myself and having a tutorial and helpful tips and tricks video would be a big help.
This turned out so incredible!! Don’t be too hard on yourself for making mistakes, or for getting dirty. I’ve had my share of mistakes during even my best projects. This one time I got back from painting and realized I got paint on my face. It looked like you could see my skeleton through my skin.
I am so happy you didn't give up. I've been there where I cry a few times when my piece isn't going like I want it to. It turned out so beautiful and love that you can see the small imperfections that make it even more special. It is a very beautiful and magical creation. Thanks for sharing it with us.
It turned out absolutely amazing! Thank you for keeping in the parts where you struggled, it just shows you're human and to never give up! Would love to see further glass art work even if it's a smaller scale! The more you do the easier it gets and you'll find what works best for you!
Sailor moon saved me as a kid, I suffered through childhood abuse but Serena was always there to fight evil and make sure that love conquered. So to see you do this giant sailor moon art is so exciting!!!!!
Im at the segment where you were upset about messing it up and was encouraged to keep going. I’m glad you kept going! It’s a very beautiful piece of art of Sailor Moon. And yes you should definitely paint the rest of the sailor scouts and friends. Or even a huge mural of all characters including their friends and family. :D But definitely make each scout in their own glass so you’ll have each one. That would be amazing! ❤
Minori this is one of the best projects you’ve done! I loved seeing this process! You’re so talented for pulling this big project. I kept seeing this in the BG of some of your newer videos (YT algorithm bs) so I went hunting for this one because SM is my favourite. She looks amazing I love that you kept going and shared your vulnerability with us as an artist. Tysm for all you share!
I love how motivated and committed you are to your art! I wish I had that kind of patience. You even did something so hard just for your viewers. Thank you, Minori and stay healthy! ❤❤
I really appreciate that you actually shared the parts where you failed and had to redo again in this era of short videos and reels people only see the finished part and don't know about the struggle and hardships an artist go through while making it and I totally feel you when you have really emotional breakdown when things don't go how you planned them to be and that too after putting so much time and effort. Great thing is that you didn't give up and made so beautiful art piece it's really pretty ❤️🥹
Aaahh..so cute!!!! I'm still lost at the rough sketch to Procreate part. 😅 Not everyone has the patience to do this, and I applaud you for powering through! Amazing artwork Minori! ❤ 🎉
This piece turned out absolutely wonderfully! I honestly appreciated that despite the setbacks and the frustration, you went for it and ended up with a wonderful piece! I'm not going to lie, you've definitely inspired me to do some glass painting of my own, maybe not the best yet, but as you said, art takes time and lots of patience! Loved that you chose Sailor Moon as your inspo and subject for this piece! I hope you get around to framing this piece and hanging it up somewhere in your home! It's too pretty not to!
Minori, your art is just so incredible and its unbelievable that you are selftaught. Your art just soothes my heart and I usually watch your videos to relax. Thank u for always trying for your viewers and sharing your work with us. I am truly grateful for your videos. Your strive to improve always inspires me. Thank u sooo much.
Wow this looks incredible Minori!! Well done for powering through and not giving up, we all have those moments and it’s only human, so I’m glad you showed some of it! Your partner sounds so supportive too ❤ I think one of your glass/mirror paintings was how I found your channel in the first place, watching this reminded me! I’ve watched every single one of your videos you’ve put out since, and recently on minicutedays too
I Love this video and the Glass Piece! I enjoyed watching this cause I was painting on a clear case I owned and I kept messing up and was ready to be done, but watching this made me push through and I love the outcome. I love your videos and it makes me continue with my passion for Art!
The patience , strong mindset and problem solving skills artists have is something appreciable. These qualities are very important on day to day basis. Appreciate everything you did Minori. It's a good art piece
It looks bloody amazing ! I love that you showed the highs and lows. Being realistic about your processes is what I love the most about your art. Thanks for sharing x
This is so amazing! I understand as an artist, not being 100% happy with your work, but it's still so good. Plus, it shows people that don't know yet, that you don't have to be perfect and you should still complete your pieces because you never know how it'll turn out until it's done. I won't request more of this because it's so much work, but if you do make more of them, It would be awesome!
I love that you share your “oops” as well as your gorgeous “yays”. So many times artists will only show their successes, and it can discourage some artists, both new and old hat. It’s so nice to be reminded that others experience the same things. ❤
I LOVE this piece!! Very well done! Don't be too hard on yourself, we're our own worst critic ... that said, I would love to see you paint the rest of the senshi!
I’m so glad yt reccommended this to me it gets draining watching all the noise. You’re so calming and positive it’s such a beautiful change of pace! Love how positive you are !!
I cant believe you were going to quit on something so beautiful! Its amazing to think of things we could’ve accomplished if we didn’t quit. this is a great example. Came out beautiful! So glad you powered thru
Kawaii & fantastic Minori you've gonna paint Sailor Moon on Glass another interesting & beautiful video you'll will do for us 🎉 you've do wonderful artwork I've love it 😊🙏💗✨️💟
Thanks Minori-san 💗 I've wanna can you'll draw non anime stuff like, trains or, beautiful super powered cars to I've think you'll can draw or make it somehow just an curious thought 💭
WOW! It's been so long since you made art on glass. I really loved your other glass paintings. And even before watching this video, I'm sure it turned out great ❤❤❤ I love you and your videos, they make me so happy and full of inspiration 😊
As a person who likes art and an interior design major student, I relate to u a LOT! Messing up a project is really frustrating however sometimes these mistakes can happen and bring better results than the first ones so it’s fine to be sad or frustrated in the end it always works out 🥹!! And the result of ur work is beyond amazing it’s truly mesmerizing 🤩🤩! u really are an inspiration 💗
minori, thank you for everything. as an artist i think we don’t show the hard parts and our mistakes enough. you’re able to make me smile even on the not so good days. thank you a thousand times minori💜 edit: DONT BE SHY ABOUT DOING OTHER GLASS PAINTINGS, ITS SO PRETTY !!!!
I love how she shows the hard moments and the mistakes. When we try to do it, this are the problems we are going to have, and she shows also how to fix them. The glass at the end looks perfect to me, but she even thought about quitting. It's good to hear that this not only happens to yourself, but also to profesionals who are teaching you how to do it, and watch that they can make mistakes sometimes too. This makes Minori extra special in this video, I loved here even more 💕
This turned out amazing Minori! ❤ An idea popped in my head while watching this: what if you used premium vinyl with your Cricut machine for the lines? That way you don’t have to worry about smudging the lines. You can take your digital drawing and import it as a cut image, then scale it to the intended size. Depending on the type of Cricut machine you have, you may be able to use Smart vinyl so you can use a roll of vinyl instead of sheets. Then you can use a transfer tape roll to move it to your glass! 🤷🏻♀️ An idea? ❤
Minori, this turned out so beautiful!! I think it’s my favorite project of yours so far. It’s incredible. 🥰 Thank you for showing your process, even the mistakes, and being so open about messing up! It really inspires me to keep trying too.
Minori, you can always use razor blades to scape off the glass, that’s what I use all the time… you can also buy “plastic” razors you can use to clean glass stove tops which might work as well. So glad you didn’t give up!!! The piece is beautiful! You need to frame it and have chains put on it so you can hand it in your window like stained glass!!! Edit… one of your best projects to date!
Omg Minori... Every single time you had an oops moment, my heart broke for you. I know how horrible it is to mess up on something you want to be perfect, so I'm so glad that you powered through it and finished! I'm glad your hubby convinced you to keep at it, because this is one of these greatest things I've ever seen! I wish I had a Minori stained glass window! ❤😂 Thank you for posting this video. I loved it!
Thank you for showing the mistakes, I know it can be hard but it is relatable to every artist out there including myself. You did an amazing job and I kinda want to try it now.
This is my favourite piece of art you've made! Mistakes are such a relatable part of the process. Having those sad feelings but finishing anyway is worth it! There's joy to be had along the way, and at the result. 😊
Such a beautiful masterpiece!!! You did an amazing job minori I’m speechless to be honest , the amount of patients needed for such a piece 😅you nailed it good job 👏🏻 ❤
Dear Minori, it is amazing! I love your art style. What a cool idea and the shimmer and glitter next to the vibrant Sailor Moon is such a wonderful idea! I really want to see the rest of the Senshis now!😅😊 Ash
Very nicely done! My family always tells me we are most critical of ourselves. Other people never see our mistakes unless we point them out. I would like to see you do more of these. Thank you for sharing your art.
Minori don't doubt yourself. Thank goodness you have Yoshi to support you. You are an incredible artist if I had money I would commission you, even Van Gogh made mistakes and painted over masterpieces. Thank you so much Sailor Moon was amazing ❤👵
It’s so beautiful!!! 😭😭😭 I especially love the stained glass effect. I’m so glad you powered through, and I appreciate the fact that you shared your errors and failures, it encourages people like me (who make mistakes all the time) to not give up. Looking forward to more glass painting projects ❤
Dear Lord!!!, how impressive is the talent that Minori has. Everyone who works with art, really understand all your feelings during this process, includes me. However the courage to upload the video and express your feelings are the most valuable thing. 😊 I really appreciate your effort and your talent Minori.san!!!!❤おめでとうそして、ありがとうみのりさん、素晴らしいです。
OMG, Minori!!! 😲 That turned out absolutely amazing! I would love to own something like this, as I am a huge Sailor Moon fan. It's gorgeous!!! Also, thank you for showing your struggles with this piece. I tend to get down on myself when I struggle with making straight crisp lines or make a mistake. I see videos of peoples' perfect art and wonder why I can't seem to be good enough... But, seeing someone as talented as you using tricks such as using a bowl for a stencil, cleaning up your lines, and making mistakes kinda brings me back down to reality. Thank you for sharing your hard work! 😊 P.S. If you make another one, can I vote for Saturn? She is my favorite Senshi. I love her glaive. 😊 Saturn, Pluto, and Moon are my top 3.
I'm glad you kept at it, because it had an amazing result, plus I like that you showed some of the messups because that's part of being an artist and while it does suck, its a part of the learning process as we need to learn from our mistakes to get better. That being said it looks really great and I'm glad your partner was so supportive. Have a great day!
I have to speak honestly . Minoris partner is the one who helped minori to make her channel. She said that he supports her so much. I think he is so kind so helpful and so positive with Minori. Yoshi is the king and Minori is the queen. They both raised this channel toghether and I am sure that they will stay toghether for a very long time till the end. This channel isn't supposed to be named Minori , Its supposed to be named "Minori and Yoshi " The best partners in the world. I wish they can stay toghether till the end. I love them both ❤❤❤❤❤
Amazing work! I absolutely loved your dedication to get through this project, even when it was testing your patience and went wrong. Greta job, Minori! What a beautiful glass painting. ^^
It turned out so good.... and I love your message of "powering through" as it gives good energy and reminds us that ART doesn't need to be perfect, it just need to make someone happy. You made this viewer very happy watching through this project. Great video 😍❤💯
This turned out wonderful. I know it is so hard when mistakes happen, thank you for keeping at it. Now the world has this beautiful piece of artwork. I love it. You are truely an inspiration.
The final piece looks incredible, absolutely beautiful. I'm glad you pushed through the struggle and finished it. The whole process was interesting to watch, I think I was most impressed by how clean the lines are on this huge drawing. If you decide to do more I'd love to see Saturn (of course I'd love to see them all, but considering there's 10 of them I don't think that's reasonable).
So much effort you put into this even if you struggled. The mistakes whether big or small can mess you up and take a bit or lot of your time. Another beauty in art. The painted glass makes it stand out of this piece of glass art and it sounds like the worth of mistakes in doing it paid off. Art is not about perfection, we just live with it. Imperfections are art to me, and that is one thing that matters. This video makes me feel better about art being imperfect in many ways… ❤💛🤍
oh my goodness it's gorgeous!!! An installation of all the sailor senshi (and maybe a Tuxedo Mask?!?) would be absolutely incredible!! Thank you for sharing the mishaps as well instead of editing them all out. It's really inspiring.
Yall stoppppp I wasn't trying to cry during this video. 😭 Your partner is amazing and so are you. I am so proud you stuck it out and finished the project even despite the problems and the setbacks. I had gone through something similar and its really great you have such wonderful support.
Beautiful! Looks great from a distance, and even if you can see some mistakes close up it's still very nice. It's good to try projects and finish them even if they aren't perfect. Rarely something is perfect!
I'm really glad you didn't scrap this project, and I'm even more glad that you included how much of a struggle it was for you. I think it's encouraging for newer artists to see that even people that have been in the craft for a while have their down moments and that perseverance is key. Yes! Though, dont take me seriously. I’m still not vare good at most art but it’s fun.
I'm so happy you decided to keep going and show the struggle. As an artist myself I'm so critical of my work. BUt when you showed that even someone as good at art as you are can make mistakes and struggle , it reminds me that's it's ok. This piece is beautiful and I'm so happy you finished it!

Loved the video and the project. Thank you for sharing your whole process with us. 😊
Minori your such a good artist can you do another tutorial?
I miss the glass art videos. I’m glad you stuck with it because the end result was amazing.
Glass painting + sailor moon = perfection
This is my favourite piece of art you've made! Mistakes are such a relatable part of the process. Having those sad feelings but finishing anyway is worth it! There's joy to be had along the way, and at the result. 😊
Such a beautiful masterpiece!!! You did an amazing job minori I’m speechless to be honest , the amount of patients needed for such a piece 😅you nailed it good job 👏🏻 ❤
I'm glad you didn't gave up on this video. It's actually one of my favorite arte video of yours. Very well done ❤
Dear Minori, it is amazing! I love your art style. What a cool idea and the shimmer and glitter next to the vibrant Sailor Moon is such a wonderful idea! I really want to see the rest of the Senshis now!😅😊
Ash
I loved this!!! I can’t wait to see more! Love the size and the combo of opaque and stain glass effect makes it really pop!💕💕💕
P.S. If you make another one, can I vote for Saturn? She is my favorite Senshi. I love her glaive. 😊
Saturn, Pluto, and Moon are my top 3.
The ring light in the reflection makes it look like Minori has animal ears !! ❤ It looks so cute haha 😂 💖
It turned out so good.... and I love your message of "powering through" as it gives good energy and reminds us that ART doesn't need to be perfect, it just need to make someone happy. You made this viewer very happy watching through this project. Great video 😍❤💯
Is it just me or is bay max a bit... Skinnier?
It is perfect to me . I really like it ♥️
I love it .... absolutely gorgeous I am so glad you push threw and finished
This turned out wonderful. I know it is so hard when mistakes happen, thank you for keeping at it. Now the world has this beautiful piece of artwork. I love it. You are truely an inspiration.
That looks Amazing! 💜
This is so lovely and I would call it a labour of love! Please do more of it!
oh my goodness it's gorgeous!!! An installation of all the sailor senshi (and maybe a Tuxedo Mask?!?) would be absolutely incredible!! Thank you for sharing the mishaps as well instead of editing them all out. It's really inspiring.
I am so glad you powered through and showed the struggles you faced. It made the outcome seem so much more amazing. It looks beautiful Minori!
It turned out soooo beautiful!! And it's so important to have a partner who supports you when stuff like this happens... so glad you pulled through!
Enjoyed watching the process and love the end results!!! It looks awesome!!!
It turned out beautiful! Thank you for your hard work and your partner for continuing to encourage you. Can't wait to see the other sailors! ❤
