So well done love the mushroom preparation and especially the tortillas and again mouthwatering delicious looking. On Mondays I’m thinking about what you’re going to be cooking on the Friday please never stop I’ve learned so much and it’s relaxed and enjoyable and that drink mmmm…. have a wonderful weekend give Gus a pat!
My favorite couple to watch cooking at home. I love to eat around 5. Watching this video definitely makes me want to try homemade tortillas. Yummy! Hugs to you and Gus. 🐕🩷🩵
i work from home and live alone and these sweet little cooking vids have come to be a highlight of my week. i love just listening to your chit-chat and feel like i’m hanging out with folks for a bit. thank you for the great content and recipes! ❤
I find that starting dinner at 5 to be too late. I'm terrible at making food quickly. 😢 I really, really enjoy these videos with you and Chuck, Hailee! Thank you for teaching me how to cook!
Yesss, i have so many avocado trees, around 40, but i give them away, i don’t have luck with the water n toothpicks though. I just put them in some nice soil , they need warmth n light , so sunny warm window, works everytime. i like to clean as i go🌝
My wife and I applaud your easy teamwork in the kitchen. So often i get so flustered or anxious in the kitchen and this just seemed like second nature to you guys. Cool to see
I HAVE to have the kitchen cleaned before bed. Nothing better than waking up into a clean kitchen and to make coffee 🥰 for soaking use the dawn power, works within a few minutes.
I just got done getting our veggies planted in our garden: Roma and genuwine tomatoes, pickling cucumbers, bell pepper, habanero, sweet peppers, sugar snap peas, carrots and green beans! Can’t wait till harvest time!
I love you guys so much. Food looks incredible as always! My favorite kitchen utensil is the garlic press. It keeps my fingers from being smelly from cooking all the time 🥰 and I love garlic
I personally hate leaving dishes in the sink, but I agree - some things need to soak. Usually I’ll only leave one or two things behind if necessary, but I’ll try to do a very basic clean and eliminate as much food residue as possible
I have a weakness for small utensils. Tiny spatula, tiny whisk, tiny tongs. I like dinner at 6:30 or 7. I grew up with dinner at 5:30. But I always have to snack late when I eat that early.
I love a Friday Night dinner vid from you both ❤ If we eat out, we eat out early. At home, 7 - 8pm. Clean up - I aspire to be organised, but sometimes I CBA so the dishes sit until the morning lol
You two always make me SO hungry! My husband and I grow/ harvest the majority of our own produce, meat and fish then preserve for winter. We're heading up the mountain soon to our fiddlehead and morel mushroom patch. Would love to see some recipes with those two items! ✌
Omg I love your videos and very much look forward to seeing you both make dinner every week! As a busy working mom I try to have dinner on the table as early as possible, but sometimes we have dinner late. I also want to plant an herb garden this year. also my avocado tree didn’t take 😢 lol
Re gardening, I had a trough in my backyard that I would throw seeds and cuttings from the kitchen. It was so rewarding. Plus pineapples grow easily and the fruits are so delish. But they take a couple years to fruit. Not sure if you could do that up in the north.
I‘m starting seeds for my garden. Most excited about some Italian pole beans and tomatoes. Will try to make jicama work this year; didn’t happen for me last year.
I am from India, most people here eat dinner late, around 7.30 to 8.30, sometimes even later. In the villages, they still have the ancient practice of waking up with the sun and sleeping when the sun goes down, so the villagers usually do early dinners. But for us city dwellers, that is not possible. I know its not the best practice, but I try to eat as early as possible. You should do Indian food for dinner guys, I would love to see what you make!
Also on the questions - 1) our ideal time to eat dinner is around 6pm 2) yes. I try every year to have a garden and grow my own food in my backyard. I have raised beds and things in pots and I have not been super successful… so far I’ve harvested a few peppers (jalapeño and yellow sweet), green onions, a peach, and a whole bunch of honeydew melons that I never planted 🤷🏼♀️ lol !
god i love this show. also my partner made an indoor hydroponic garden to grow herbs and veggies and my neighbor covers her raised bed gardens with cloth to prevent the squirrels from getting to it!
Love the Qs meal even if a bit too much of Jalapeños para mi… 🌶️ above all love the video. My favourites: 1. My Japanese knife, 2. eating early or late, 3. Regular brown mushroom as so versatile (though love shitake, oyster, chanterelle…) 😁🤗
You and chuck blow my mind…I love watching the two of you and look forward to every video. Ok, how do you store your big thing of salt and hit me with your favorite pepper grinder. Thank you for keepimg cooking real…and simple. ♥️
I'd like to try to grow a calamansi in a pot. I'm dying to have a garden but I have zero place to put one. I am also a clean up everything before bed person, but part of that is old building/ occasional mice and I HATE mice.
Favorite tool besides hands: mandolin, second to that is food processor as I do a ton of chopping there. Dinner times, if I work the next day 530, if it’s my off days 730 to account for drinks and goofing around in the kitchen.
Did you get a new cutting board? Very nice. Did you feel the quake this morning? Meal looked divine. I always have to clean up & get the dishes washed after the meal although I let them air dry & put them away in the morning. Till next week.
Avocado seeds don’t reproduce same fruit. A haas avocado won’t produce a haas avocado. All haas avocados are grown from clones taken from one original tree that was the result of cross pollination.
Holy crap that was the most pleasant interaction I have witnessed online.
Stick around. They are like this every week and it’s very calming to watch them work together. A far cry from my life indeed.
You guys make REALLY good food. Like wow. I love to cook too so I enjoy watching your content.
Your Friday dinner videos are my fave!! 🙌🏼
I like to eat dinner by 6 since I'm in bed by 8 and don't like the idea of going to bed with a full tummy.
Love your cooking videos. Very chill and always great recipes! Thank you guys 😊
5:16 the look on chuck's face when he said "i want to get a pawpaw tree" and hailee's " o wow" response made me chuckle 🤩
My favorite couple to watch cooking at home. I love to eat around 5. Watching this video definitely makes me want to try homemade tortillas. Yummy! Hugs to you and Gus. 🐕🩷🩵
If you eat at 5, what time do you start making dinner? Sorry for asking, I'm just trying to get better at timing. 😊
@@Michellee970 Usually 4:30, but it certainly depends on what I'm making.
Great vibes as usual!!! ❤

Nothing like a good homemade tortilla. You know exactly what is inside. Everything is homemade and it looks delicious! 😋
I personally hate leaving dishes in the sink, but I agree - some things need to soak. Usually I’ll only leave one or two things behind if necessary, but I’ll try to do a very basic clean and eliminate as much food residue as possible

Those drinks look delish! 🍸
I just want to come to yalls wedding please. You have both captured my heart and you’re so perfect for each other 🥹💗
In the states my family and I eat at 5:30 PM. In Mexico dinner is easily 8:30 PM-9:30 PM.
That blender intrigues me.
So adorable 🥰! Where can I get your recipe?

Chuck was real proud of those bird puns!

Love that you guys are gin people!!!!
Love me some gin
What is the type of pan you use for dry roasting the tomatoes and garlic?
It's a camal. An iron skillet will work also. That's what I use.
Tremendously bizarre as always. Love it
Early between 5pm-6pm! This looks delicious 😋🤤😊
Avocado seeds don’t reproduce same fruit. A haas avocado won’t produce a haas avocado. All haas avocados are grown from clones taken from one original tree that was the result of cross pollination.

How often do you food shop?
Early 3-6 no later
