Same here! I have some of the recommendations Evie has made, actually all my dip powders and polygel are from your reviews. I search for nail art supplies based on your nail art, lol is this wrong? Literally doing my nails for the second time with this kit as we speak! I got the one with the almond and coffin nails. The lamp I got came with an on/off button 🤔. love it so much and it's definitely favorite ❤️❤️❤️

What polish did you use? Does it have to be gel polish or can regular polish work just as good?
@@KapelliVH I prefer gel polish for the longevity...I do my nails every 2 weeks. You can absolutely use regular nail polish too. I've used polish, polygel and dip powder as d they've all turned out great 👍🏾
What gel Polish is good to use with these nails? I want them to set quickly in the Uv light

I have a 3 and 1 1/2 year old. And do my nails every two weeks while they sleep at night. It makes me feel so much prettier and just better about myself since I stay home with them and feel a little like a slob bc I don’t get fixed up lol it’s definitely a mood booster and part of my self care now.

Thank you so much for this video! I started with Apres Gel X nail kit. My daughter and I have done several sets and are now out of several of the sizes. I've noticed the prices on the nail tips alone has gone up almost $3 per box.... I am looking for a "dupe" to continue this self love/care pattern with my baby girl. Going to the salon to have nails done is just not something I can or WILL budget, especially when I can do them at home and not feel like I am getting talked about amongst the techs like I know happens so often. Really like the nail shapes and length on you, prior to shaping. But than again, I love all of the styles and shapes and length of nails you wear! And I also really enjoy how you change it up and manis on your natural nails and when all the ways you build them and tips you use. Get variety that you show, like there isn’t anything wrong with other DIYs that have found their shape that works best for them and length. But it really is nice to see all of the many different ways you do it.

I'm currently wearing this set!! The gel "glue" isn't too sticky. I think there should be some hold when you apply the nail, but there isn't THAT'S MY ONLY COMPLAINT.
Thanks for the heads up. I just got these in yesterday but I unfortunately can't do my nails right now. I've dermatitis on my hands and they are severely inflamed and I'm afraid to use any of my nail stuff. I'm sad because I was looking forward to these.
I have a different kit that's the same method and they started popping off immediately. And I did everything perfectly, cleaned my nails well, roughed them up, removed shine from underneath tip, as well as used dehydrator. Does this one do that?

@@_scarlett_delgado_6037 do this method but purchase builder gel. The glue gels in this kits are most times a pass or go

It seems like a better set than the beetles kit. I ordered and will get them tomorrow. I love that the nails are so narrow because my nail beds are tiny. The coffin nails at the salon were so bulky. I just bought some pretty nude and pastel coral polish. I hope I can do makeup on others with them. Definitely cutting them down. 💅

@@mandijones4995 They usually last about 2-3 weeks. I’ve never filled them in but if I did I would use builder gel in a bottle to keep it hassle free.

Love your videos! I just wanted to point out that this lamp and the Beetles lamp seem to function by infrared motion sensors so the fact that neither of them are working properly for you might mean that there is something in the room that is interfering with them

I actually ended up buying the bettles one and really liked it I've already done 2 sets with it.
I bought the beetles one when I saw her video and I absolutely love it! So much quicker and easier than polygel. I use the full cover method when I done have time

With the proper prep up to 3 weeks for me. If i plan on keeping them for less than 2 weeks I won’t do a primer or bond.

i have this kit and its sooo easy to use, ive had mine on for 10 days and there is no lifting at all. i would defo give it a try. if you already have the beetles kit, maybe buy full cover tips and gel instead of a whole kit as you dont need 2 lamps.
I use the beetles gel kit and I had my nails on for 3 weeks. However - I did use different tips because I wasn't a fan of the beetles nail shape from the kit I got. I used the gel glue and light from the beetles kit and I used beetles polish, no chips and only very little lifting on 2/10 nails at the end of the three weeks.
Also super important is the nail prep - clean, buff to add traction, clean again no soap and nail dehydrator first before application. I only removed them after the 3 weeks because I wanted to change it up and there were the 2 lifting a little. (likely my own application error though since the others were great still and it was only my second time using the kit.). I haven't tried this kit, but I love the beetles kit and I swear by their gel polishes and have been using them consistently for 2 years.
